Easy Contraction Timer

Timing you contractions has never been so easy! Just press the start button when your contraction starts, and stop when it stops, it's as easy as that!
From there on out this app will give you all the information you need during this important time. It tells you exactly how many contractions you've had so far and how long the contractions and intermissions have lasted. This data can be used by your obstetrician to assist and guide you during labor.

With the newest version of contraction timer it is now also possible to monitor the intensity of your contractions and get an informative chart based on this information (can be disabled from settings ). It is also possible to resume your latest contraction by long-clicking it in case you accidentally stopped it, as well as deleting any contraction by swiping it of the screen. Good luck!

Easy and shareable! I had a few other ones before this and they kept pushing for $ to get the additional functionality. This has it all in one, is built specifically for this purpose, and the ads are so minimal! I love that I can share a link with my midwife and my hubby so they are in on the progress without bugging me haha.

Good overall. I like the ability to edit each contraction. It would be even better if I could add comments between contractions, and if I could undo the swip-left-to-delete function. In trying to edit cx, I accidentally deleted, and the time edit function is a bit cumbersome.

Contractions should be tracked based on DURATION (start to end of each) and FREQUENCY (from the start of one to the start of the next, NOT the interval from the end of one to the start of the next). The duration display is fine, but this interval and interval with contraction (which is the actual frequency) is confusing. [Edit: It would be helpful to at least label frequency properly. The interval between is irrelevant and should go. I'm a Birth Doula and won't share this app with my clients.]

Worked great except it times the contractions incorrectly. The right way is to time from the beginning of 1 contraction to the beginning of the next. This app only measure the time between when 1 ends and the next begins. Otherwise it was easy to use and worked great.

this app did exactly what I needed, and without intrusive ads. I was so worried I would only be able to find an app that made me watch a commercial after every contraction.. anywho, 10/10, do recommend, will download again if I have another child.

I was induced. This app was very helpful in keeping me aware of the patterns happening with my body, as the hospital's machine wasn't picking up every contraction and it was difficult to read the hospital's screen even when it was picking up the contractions. I did not use anything but the contractions timers, so I can't speak to any of that, but I'm very grateful for this app, it really helped me to feel a bit more in control while in induced labor.

This app was perfect for my needs. I was on the go and needed a straight forward, no fluff app to count my contractions. This app was simple, easy to figure out, and provided averages of contraction length times and intervals. Ads, while present, were not intrusive.

The intervals are measured differently from everything we have learned... Our medical professionals indicate that it's from beginning of contraction to beginning of contraction. This app measures it from end of one to beginning of the next. I'd rather not have to do the math to figure out what the actual interval is...

I like this app and finally used it during my birth. I had 2 apps to chose from but eventu6this one was easier, faster and didn't stand in my way. During contractions you don't have much time to search for info or setup so it is important to have all info you need displayed and simple way of control. This app is like that

Very easy to use, i had to download at least 3 others that looked like weird old computer running laps before i found this one. Also has the option to turn off ads, but i like the idea od supporting an app that actually works well.

Excellent timer and tracker. It even calculates the intensity, and measures the frequency as well as intensity to figure when the best time to leave for the hospital will be! Even if you are not aware of the proper timing between contractions to be sure of when to leave for the hospital, this app does it for you, and sends you a notification for when it's time to go! Brilliant! Although, it is best to know this information without the need for the app, I am grateful for this app's existence.

This app was super easy to use which is great when you don't start trying to use it until your labor starts. The ads are minimal and never pop up over the features. UI is basic and simple to read.

Outstanding app. Easy to use, clear interface with length of contractions and intervals between contractions. Has a summary of the last five contractions with the average length of time of contractions and interval between contractions so you don't have to estimate. This app kept me calm during my first birth experience. Thank you so much to the developers of Eash Contraction Timer!!

Great app! Easy to use and no sign up needed! Downloaded it after labor started and it helped a lot! It would be nice if it was easier to edit the seconds on the contractions start/end times but still 5 stars anyway.

This app incorrectly calculated the interval between contractions it should be the length of time from the start of one contraction to the start of the following one. This app shows you the length of time from the end of one contraction to the start of the next. It actually caused my wife and I, in the heat of the moment, to believe she was farther into labor and go to the hospital too early. This app should be removed from the store altogether.

This app is amazing!! I used it a few years ago but the newest bells and whistles are incredible. My midwife and doula said they're going to use this with all their clients now. The live stream feature, text feature and timing features are excellent

She Just Started! So far my only disappointment is that there is NOT a widget or easy open option to keep it running on top. Accuracy is lost when it takes seconds to even get to start button.

This was easy to use and I liked that I can put notes at a particular contraction as well as rate my pain. You can delete any contraction without messing the whole thing which was a problem with another app I used.

I am a doula and HIGHLY recommend this app. This app has a simple, easy to read, and understand display for contraction timers. As a birthworker, I don't care about the "average length of contractions" or "average time between contractions", I and other birthworkers care about EXACT times. This app gives exact times for length of contraction and time between contractions. It also has a function to share real time displays of contractions, which is beyond helpful. I highly recommend this app.

This app helped me determine that I was having a real contraction and notified me when it was time to go to the hospital. My only suggestion is to make the app available as a widget or another way so you don't have to open the app first; it's kinda distracting when you're in pain. Other than that, it works great. Thank you!

Such a simple app that could be great. However, the intervals are timed incorrectly. That seems like an important thing to get correct in an app such as this.

Joc. N. Mar 9, 2020

This app is intuitive to use and it's easy to fix if you mistakenly add a contraction before it actually starts. There are sharing options, which I'm not sure why you would do that, but it's there if you want it.

Dav. S. Jun 28, 2019

The interval is determined from time your last contraction started to the start of the next. Not the time from end of the last contraction. Don't waste a trip to the hospital based on the advice of this poorly researched app, especially if this is your first birth, you will labour longer and slower on average.
