The Costco hearing aids are ok. I'm a musician, and they aren't that good for music... amd this app totally blows. I have to keep it on the screen at all times for it to retain my setting. If I leave the app, it goes back to a default setting within 20 to 30 seconds, negating my custom settings. I am in so many different audio settings that I'd have a million different programs. Because hearing is my life, I am constantly adjusting things, fine tuning. So, even a saved program becomes useless

I had the app installed and working, then it stopped working. I re-paired the hearing aides to my phone and they work great, but the app cannot find them. The app is really bad and very basic when it does work. They need to develop a better application with features that add value and is reliable.

Just got Kirkland 10.0 h/a yesterday. Hearing aids are great, app not so much. Worked fine for 24 hrs now will not connect. Force stopped app, cleared cache, turned BT on and off, still won't connect. I'll try again in the morning when I turn them on again, might connect then. I had high hopes too. **UPDATE April 2022 I've had one more issue with the app not connecting and what seemed to solve it for me was doing a "force stop" of the app in my phone settings. When I did this the app connected to the HAs when I opened it up again. Maybe that will work for you. I'd give the Kirkland 10.0 hearing aids a 5. and I have 60% loss both ears. The audio is pretty good, the battery still has 60% after 12 hrs of wear. I'm still experimenting with different settings in different noise environments and getting better at tweaking them. If you could get the developers to fix the buggy app it would be an outstanding package, and the price is unbeatable.. A hearing center locally was going to charge me over $4800.00 for these very same H/As with the name brand on them. Overall, if I have to reinstall the app now ad then I can live with that for the convenience of hearing again. They're light years better than the one's my dad used to wear. I upped the app rating to 4, it still could use improvements, but your mileage may vary. Sonova AGMarch 1, 2022 Please try the troubleshooting steps: 1. Clear the app's cache & data. 2. Restart your phone. If it will not help, reset the app with the deletion of the Bluetooth pairings. Please let us know if it helped.

I have a Google Pixel 5A phone, Kirkland 10.0T hearing aids and the TV Connector from Costco. Initially everything was Ok, but then I noticed the left hearing aid wouldn't connect to the App.. it went into error mode (buttons not working - couldn't turn off..even when I placed it in the recharging cradle.. no light would appear) thought it was faulty. Got a loaner from Costco, same problem. Found doing a reboot, reset the left hearing aid. Testing revealed can't use App while using TV Connector.

Connectivity is an issue. Even though my hearing aids are Bluetooth paired for streaming & calls, the app sometimes will not detect them. I have had to reboot my phone or even uninstall and reinstall the app. Without the connection, the app has no value.

App quit working in 1 hour would not pair with both aides at the same time. Tried to repair now can't find either aide. Tried all the suggested fixes. I'm tech savvy and it's not user error. This is a big disappointment. Hearing aides work great but the app is junk.

When adjusting aids, for example to increase volume in one ear, or to set up a new program, only lasts as long as app and phone remains open. If the app is closed the aids return to default. Defeats the purpose of the app. Bose hearphones retain the adjustable settings until modification by user.

Further Update: This is my first day testing my aids at work, but I had the audio output set to the aids themselves, still don't know why the app wouldn't cooperate then. Now however I have audio output set to phone, so no the app is controlling my aids a lot better. Why though couldn't the app control the aids regardless the output setting?

Searching, searching, searching, but never finds hearing aids. One of the worst, frustrating apps I have ever tried to use. I have upgraded to four stars. Another app was not playing fair with this app. Took awhile but finally figured it out. Thanks Sonova for reaching out so quickly. The app is working great now.

Mau. R. Mar 30, 2022

Don't bother. Whilst the app has good features you currently cannot connect both hearing aids to the app. Even the audiologist tried. Also when you contact the support email no one replies.

Cra. Mar 18, 2022

I would give the app higher review if it stayed connected? It consistently disconnects and takes rebooting to get back on ..other than that some of the features are pretty cool hope they find an update that fixes these bugs soon.

She. I. Mar 13, 2022

It will only connect to one hearing aid at a time. And when you are texting or using another app, the hearing aid don't work at all. Very frustrating 😕

app doesn't work at all now! I'm taking these back if you can't fix this. App can't find the hearing aids. just says searching with the circle thingy spinning. put them In pairing mode. tried this 4 times

Worked well until an android phone software update. Now it says my K10s are paired, but when I go to connect, the app it tells me my HAs are incompatible. I've tried reinstalling, rebooting HAs and phone, repairing. No luck.

On the occasion I have used the app it works fine. I have not had any problems listed in the other reviews. After initially comparing the manual settings verses the automatic settings of the Kirkland hearing aids with the app, it isn't used often. The Signature 10's work exceptionally well in all noise conditions with the automatic settings.

Cos. B. Mar 16, 2022

Very poor application. Takes forever to connect after many many attempts. When it does, after a while, jumps to different settings, crazy....

Dav. H. Mar 31, 2022

The Kirkland 10.0 ha are quite good. Not great but good enough. The app absolutely sucks!! Stays on automatic even when you pick other programs. Constantly goes to the default volume setting, even if you raise or lower it. Music streaming is brutal - constantly looking for a signal which means the music starts, stops, starts, etc. Sonova - instead of saying "let us know what is happening" which you've done for the last year, even though people HAVE let you know, try fixing the damn app!

We've had this app for 2 years and it was just fine. Had to get a new phone and updated the app. Now, the app keeps crashing. Can't even have a conversation and hear through my hearing aids. I'm 92 and thus is horrible. My kids have tried everything; Uninstall, reinstall, restart phone, etc. Bought the hearing aids at Costco and now the product is not working as advertised. Not happy one least bit!

When it works,it has nice features. What I don't like, is it sometimes it won't connect to 1 or both hearing g aides. Much more frustrating is the fact that when using the app and try doing anything else with the phone, the volume becomes muted until you stop. Why would you need to mute the volume if you are doing a simple search? Bottom line for me, the program is too frustrating to use.q

Sometimes app won't connect with hearing aids. Hard boots of phone, checking BT & WiFi, and restarting HAs doesn't fix issue. Only way to get the connection back is to delete the app and reinstall. Then it works 100%. Also, there's an issue where if for example you increase the HA volume to +2 or anything other than neutral, and then leave the app screen and then return to the app, the app shows the volume at neutral, even though the HAs are still at +2. This is verified by using HA buttons.

This has to be the most miserable app I have had to use in all my years on an Android phone. The documentation is inconsistent between the user guide for the app and what is displayed on the hearing aid companies website. The website was where I finally found the correct way to pair the hearing aids with Bluetooth on my phone. There's a good deal of technical information lacking in the documentation for someone who has technically inclined and understands technology.

Won't connect, and the odd time it does it doesn't. An exercise in frustration. Sometimes (rarely) one connects, the other doesn't, and when you select the retry option you lose both. Why the company even bothers offering this app is beyond me ... Oh, wait, it's advertising. It doesn't have to actually work. Silly me.

I've been using this app for a few weeks to connect up to my Costco KS10 hearing aids without any problems. More features would be nice.

Ste. H. Mar 13, 2022

Worked fine for two months and now it won't pair with my Costco KS 10s. Rebooting the phone, the HAs, reinstalling the app hasn't helped. Update: Followed the instructions below three times. Got it to work on my left HA

The app works reliably to control my hearing aids. The user- customizable programs are fantastic. But it has a few flaws. But the BIGGEST issue is that with every notification sound it reverts to the default program. I'm in a meeting, using my custom program so I can hear the meeting. I get a text, and my aids reset to default, and now I can't hear! And it takes FOREVER to reconnect the app to set it back for the meeting! This is maddening, and it simply MUST be fixed!

I've been using this app to control my hearing aids for about 6 months now. It's been flawless for the most part, but it does have it's ups and downs. First with the bad - It's a little slow to connect to my hearing aids - sometimes it takes several seconds. I also wish it could control the sound of my aids. Maybe turn up the bass or turn down the treble. Occasionally my HAs get out of sync and I need to turn them off and on to work with the app, but that doesn't happen very often. Now the good - It's nice to be able to set the volume and change the programs without reaching up and fiddling with my ear, especially when I am in a meeting or other situation where I wish to be discrete about it. It is also nice to be able to adjust the amount of surrounding sound I let in when in TV Connector or Bluetooth Streaming programs. The app starts up quickly and once the HA's are connected, they respond instantly to inputs. The app is laid out in a simple manner which makes it so easy to use.

I've increased the rating of this app that I originally gave since the upgrade. They did a major upgrade. I've not fully explored this new upgrade but, from what I've found, so far, I like it. It seems much more stable. One feature I like is that there is now a "push button" option. I guess that the app now features at least three programs that you use the most and it's featured in the "push button" selection. I can now toggle through three programs. "Automatic" (which I think is a great program and which covers 95% of what you need hearing aids to do) and, in my case, a choice to toggle to "Music" and the next toggle (for me, not applicable to most user's I'll bet), "Fiddle". My custon fiddle program is probably not something anyone is interested in but, I can toggle through "automatic", "music" and "fiddle" by pressing the button on my hearing aids. I don't need to use the app. Each program has a different "tone" to differentiate between the programs so, without messing with my android phone, I can toggle to the fiddle program. I like this quite a bit. The Signature 10's are outstanding hearing aids in my opinion, especially considering the price. The best hearing aids I've owned in 15 plus years. The new app is making me much happier that I bought these aids from Costco and, thank you, Phonak for doing this upgrade.

Slow to connect. No control over timeout. Would be useful if it provided an equalizer function. Cannot get it to connect with Microsoft surface. On the positive side, the KS9s are pretty good. Nice that the app allows control of levels for each ear. Also nice that it allows control of surrounding sound when in TV mode. Good clarity on android phone. Price point is right for the current market. The TV streamer is a huge plus.

I have the Kirkland hearing aids so I expect the app to be as flawless as the equipment it interfaces. That's not the case at all. It constantly crashes on my Samsung 10 phone. On the rare occasion when it doesn't crash, it consistently goes to the default settings if I do anything other than keep the app visible on the screen, rendering any other use of my phone impossible. The bottom line is: this app doesn't work and us not helpful.
