The app works reasonably well with pretty every person speaking into it, as long as the surroundings aren't too noisy. It does not need training so it can be used to communicate with your surgeon or at an administration's desk... It makes mistakes, as every speech recognition does, but -overall- far less than most exprerienced lip readers. This is a real life saver for late deafs. I highly appreciate, that Frédéric offers his app for a very reasonable price to keep it affordable for disabled people. Moreover he is responsive to comments... IMHO a triple A developer!
When some one call to my mobile or i call to someone then there voice is not getting transcript in text message even though i purchase and paid the app purchase amount. If the phone call conversation does not transcript on mobile then this is waste since you will never able to do conversations over phone or understan what the other people are saying. I have tried to put phone into speaker mode and open that apps but this does not work.
Pretty good but often displays the same text after I clear it using the "Trash" icon. Also, needs a full screen mode (hide the top bar). The Name field is unnecessary and just takes up space.
I'm hard of hearing. I'd really like an app that transcribes the incoming voice. If this can do it, then it is unclear how and should be in the doc/help/example.
just just downloaded this new app for the hearing impaired or deaf it reads out the conversations not by audio but by letter it is the best app that I have seen yet for the deaf or hearing-impaired I would recommend it to anyone who is hearing impaired
I downloaded this app bc it said it works offline - I already have good transcribing apps that work only online. But I can't get it to work offline at all. Could the developer please give some feedback if there is some trick to make it work offline? If so I'd be happy to revise my rating. Thank you
It is very rude that ur program says that I have to buy for unlocking the microphone features. I won't buy your products ever again.
Good app. BUT writes as bad as I hear, even online!! NEED TO IMPROVE ACCURACY. Maybe add words to English language.
I use this every day to communicate with my deaf mum and even bought the pro when i did not need to, just to support the maker because i use it so much.
Using the Lite version paywalls the microphone so you're unable to test it with another phone. What's the point?
Best app for people who have lost their hearing ability
i am needing an app that increases the phone talking volume and this clearly does not
It's alright. Need update 2 stars for me. Just update for better technical details
deae developer if i buy the pro one once and if my phone got spoiled then can i get the chance to install this pro application for free, plz add HINDI language also
Good voice recognition, even offline. Editing incorrect text looks easy. Couldn't test the other functions in Lite, mute worked at first and that was helpful now a paid function
For free? Can't beat that. Hopefully i can use while going out and hopefully will use it via hearing calling me thru video chat. Keep up the good work.
Great app! When will Romanian language be available offline ?
First off, I'm very hard of hearing. I have tried many voice to text apps, this one far exceeds the others in the voice recognition. You do have to speak alittle slower and clearer, but the others don't do as well even if you try that. I love this app. I'm only using it on my phone, because most everyone I know has an iPhone, but even at that, it is very useful.
Just started using the app and it's great we look forward to many conversations I'm not sure how good the distance will be. The app is a very much of a stress reducer by being able to communicate with a hearing impaired person pretty much instantaneously great app thank you very much
Nothing appears on the screen. Tried with the microphone. Earlier it was functioning properly. No texts appears on the screen of my Motorola G3.
thank u it 're best I'm happy
It's amazing voice and very useful app..thanks for help.best of luck.
It's great working
It is very bad
Best...
Ok with me
I’ve tried a few speech-to-text apps and Easy Talk is, even in the “Lite” version, one of the best. As a profoundly deaf person I can imagine instances where it will be most useful. Testing it on three devices I had no problem connecting them and the accuracy and speed of the displayed text was quite good. I did have a problem with colour differentiation between the sent and received text and, the “Setting name” for the received text was not shown. Hopefully I can resolve these problems and test the app in real life settings. ** Problem resolved ** It wasn’t anything to do with the app but rather the two phones I used to test it with both had me as the primary contact. Once I created a pseudo ID on the second phone everything work well.
Thank you. My Dad cried for joy when he used this app to hear what others were saying to him.
English (Nigeria) under list of recognised languages has disappeared. How do I get it back? It first appeared when I downloaded the app but could not be found this morning.
The app was only one step above using something like Gmail and a blank email page to dictate into but now they are starting to charge to turn off the microphone and so it becomes useless in that it keeps typing everything you say before you can even show the hearing impaired person what you first said. Ridiculous. And yes Developer, I do free work for handicapped folks... for free ... but did I also see an ad now appearing in app as well? So far, Texthear appears better and free.
