I've been playing violin for almost three years now and I still couldn't tune my strings from the fine turners.. And at school they taught me how but I could never get it right, and it's kinda hard to do it at home without anything telling me if it's too sharp or flat and this app really helped. I have only been playing the violin for about 6 months and struggled very much with tuning. My biggest problem was being unable to tell how far off I was. This app completely fixed that, it shows exactly what note the violin is at and how much adjustment is needed. I tuned my violin in less than five minutes. I also tested my strings on another app as well for comparison and they showed in tune. Very happy with this app.
This app plays each string tone for quick relative tuning as well as providing a chromatic tuner, think "gas gauge," that you can use to tune precisely. It's always with you--but I have to feel sorry for standalone tuners that can now be termed "stayathome" tuners. Thanks!
The app makes tuning a violin pretty easy. All you have to do is play any of your 4 strings and the app will show the pitch as well as any changes you make while tuning. I even like the more advanced section of just playing the piano note for each string.
I tried several and this works best for me. Not having a music back ground, I like seeing the frequency to know if I need to go up our down. Wish it stayed on longer (I'm slow tuning). Norton keeps warning me about a privacy risk.
Good app. I been playing for a year on violin and it helps. I played guitar for about 15 years. So this app is great for the violin gets it nice and tuned up love it

Really simple to use and does exactly what I wanted. As someone who has never touched a violin until today, this app is perfect for beginners! I used this with a Samsung Galaxy S3.

Chromatic tuner worked surprisingly well, stood up to a 1/100th of a hertz mark when tuned accurately (checked in audacity). The metronome is a bonus feature
I have recently started playing the violin and the App has enabled me to learn how to tune etc. Not yet perfect at it though.
The app has a chromatic tuner, but I have had issues with it reading my G string. I have not yet found a better app.
It is dear to me, simply got the important issues, analyze which the note is, the frecuency, got metronome and allow me to tune by ear. A good creation.
Very handy but the interface is not 100% usr-friendly. Overall: nice and very useful apppication.

The chromatic tuner is very accurate as I cross referenced it with a clip on tuner. The app also comes with a metronome which helps us gauge beats.
So easy to use. New to violin, and was struggling to tune mine. I tuned it in about 3 minutes.
This worked well on my Samsung S3, but the chromatic tuner doesn't work on my Samsung S6. If it can be corrected, then I'd give it a much higher rating.
Before I got this app I couldn't tune my violin but now I can tune it easily with no problems. Anyone that doesn't have this app and needs help tuning I strongly suggest to get this app!
Terrible I can't even tune like the recommended one when you search "violin tuner" is WAYYY better like it just shows you the sounds
Makes it easy to tune when you are a beginner. We have tried other apps but prefer this because it has the best intuitive display and doesn't pick up background noises too easily. It doesn't have pro Orchestra features but that is not what we need.
I love this app on my hydro icon no buggs and I could get a pretty good idea of what notes to play while playing my favorite songs from the phone! <(^^,)>

Very good tuner! like the different options. The only thing that bothers me is that the screen turns off while I'm tuning and i have to unlock my phone before i can continue.

This is the best tuner APP - I've tried 4 or more, and this is hands down the best
you you can see what the note is that you are getting not what you are trying to get and tuning to high or low .
I wouldn't say it's perfect, but relative to all others I could find, it is. It tells me exactly (As exact as my phone microphone can be) how far I am from the correct tune. I'd like to thank to creator for not being lazy and just leaving us with sounds of the correct tune and nothing else. I don't have incredible ears, I can't tell if my played tune exactly matches the one coming from my phone.
