The camera is great, but this app sux! If I want to review an hours worth of video say...then I can only watch it in small chunks, and I then have to move the clip onto the next one, manualy! Watching an hours worth, could mean moving the video forwards two dozen or more times! There is no way to set a Home zone so that the camera returns to a preset position either. There is no fast forward when reviewing the video either! I could go on...there are other issues, too many to mention here.

Generally better experience compared to previous ip cameras I was using. the UI looks and feels fresh, although there's enough space for improvement. 4 stars because no matter how many times I tried, connecting to Alexa simply doesn't work. Keeps failing during the process of searching for available cameras in the network. please give it a try and go for the necessary software updates to make it work since this function was the key to my selection and it's already quite disappointing.. thanks!

Basically Works, but needs improvement. the user interface could use some work on the layout and options. the most cameras you can see at once is 4. I would like to see the history bars show events in a different color. Currently it only shows where there is recorded content in blue. There is no place to access motion or intelligent events. All i can find are hourly events which I assume are just the hourly video segments. the PTZ controls are missing zoom, iris, focus, & presets. ect...

If you follow the instructions, it's easy to setup and very straight forward. I bought this because I've been broken into and feel this could help a little. Picture quality is impressive and sensitivity settings seen accurate. I was surprised by sound quality and night vision quality. I will likely buy more to cover the area more precisely. I would suggest wifi booster/extenders to make sure the connection stays strong. The cloud is cheap in my opinion too. Very pleased and highly recommend

The feature set of this app is great speaking as an Security System Installer. I can set up my clients system and then grant them access to their cameras. This way I can see when there is an issue with a "camera not working“ service request versus it being an end user or network issue. The developers really did a great job making this a great product for both clients and installers

BE WARNED!! This app is using around 13% of CPU on Motorola Z3 Play while not being used (screen off, launched once and exited via back button). Found out about it after my phone wouldn't go to sleep and kept screen on all the time. Killing the process com.mm.android.easy4ip helped immediately. It is a pretty good app funcionality-wise, but now I'm inclined to look for something else.

Camera is great, image/video/sound quality is great! Unfortunately app is not working great. I receive all the time notification when there is no movement only light is turned on/off, when I want to open video recorded on the SD card i get "play error. Click to refresh" but anyway its not working after numerous refreshes. Every 10th saved video can be played but even then after few seconds playback freezes.Every other is giving me error, so its not secure in my opinion when i cant see what happened. Please make feature that after detection save video on local memory because this saving on SD and being not possible to download that video from SD to mobile is really bad. Also really confusing app for example Detection Sensitivity and 1 to 5 minutes, what that means exactly?

I don't know if it's the app or the camera, but I cannot play back the video from the SD Card, on the cellular network even though I have selected to do so in the settings. It just keeps coming up with with Play Error, and warning me I am using a cellular network. This has now been fixed, everything is now great playback is good with network ..am happy 5 stars. This App has now decided to have unwanted pop-ups, very poor when I have paid so much for the camera, remove a star.

The connection is made very very difficult, sometimes impossible. I have to close the application, to reopen the application, for the moment, I do not recommend. You need to change it to work better, I'm still waiting for an update, otherwise it's very well thought out. With the gDMSS application it loads instantly, whenever I try but instead I do not like the application. :)

Ordered the camera on Amazon on Fri which arrived on sat so started on setting it up but verification code did not arrive after many tries. Tried again on Sun nothing. Tried again on Mon and it came back instantly. Why in this day and age something not work on a weekend!! I am 100% sure it was not a user error, my email provider error or my network. Proceeded with adding device but the app crashes everytime on the pairing step where I think it uses sound to pair. Gave up after 20 tries.

Please note geofencing does not work with Android 10. Only when opening the app outside the area triggers the app to notice I'm outside. But after that notifications still don't work. Also menu in the app is clearly not designed by English speaking. All the settings are just weirdly described that you don't know for sure what certain options are.

The software will give you alarms every 3 minutes during the night when bothing there but won't detect you driving in. Have tried adjusting sensitivity, adjusting detection area, infa on and off just no middle ground. Also had freeze on a few occassions, video clips only last around 30 seconds so if being burgled could miss the intruders

There is a very serious bug with this app. My phone Xiaomi MI A2 Lite and Android 9 is going silent on a random base when I install the app. I've tried it with two times reseting my phone and everytime I install the app, the bug happens. When I uninstall it, I don't have any problems As for the app itself - it's good, but I cannot use it until this bug is fixed, because my phone is supposed to ring...

Too slow to launch when receiving push notifications from doorbell (DB11), upwards of 20 seconds, by which stage the person at the door is gone. Definitely an app issue as direct connection to the doorbell using the same app is fast, the slow launch has something to do with the push notifications. It would be better to ditch this app and put the developer time into improving the main Dahua DMSS app.

Best cam viewer I have used for my home system to date. Easy to use and great features. Connects quickly, wheter you are on wifi or cell data. Easy to share devices to other users. Great quality image (you can select either SD or HD from the on-screen display).

I have a criticar problema with IMOU . the cameras in the application are continuously disconnected, network issues have already been verified and there is no problem, the cameras keep the blue light status. but in the application they are always disconnected offline, they can help me with this the reference is a dagua A35 Thanks

Arrived today so only just set it up but so far video and sound quality is great. easy to set up. unfortunately the cables are too short so need a longer cable to reach the centre of my window. Other than that it's pretty good!

After 5-6-19 update, my phone is unable to load the 3rd page of cameras. I have a 16 channel and it's not loading. Even the pc app updated as well as of 5-11-19 and it's not working properly. Please please fix! Edit: 5-21-19 I downgraded my app and the PC software and my cameras are working again. Something is wrong with this current update. Please update this app. Checked out the new update Jul 2019. It's fixed. Ty!

Hey guys, can u make an update? Notification was abit slower to get... and alert for notification timing was totally off the timing.. lets say alert is at 4pm, i will get an alert notification for the previous alert... i have to scroll down to manually load it to see the actual alert...please, this is really a good apps, just need to rectify some of the notification

App is inconsistant in operation and unpredictable as to what will happen when buttons are pressed. Also, orientation of picture is difficult to control. Where is the list of notifications of movement activations?

Before 04.11.19 app updation it worked fine. After updation the cloud storage function is not working. There is no good customer support. Not giving reply for mails. Cloud storage function is most important. We purchase the device and cloud subscription for our security. But, when it's not working properly what is the use of imou app? Except cloud function remaining is working properly. Pl. solve the problem. It worked well before updation.

Cannot even complete camera setup. At the point where the pairing process wants to send sound from the phone to the camera the app force closes and restarts. Every time. Pixel 3a running Android 10.

The app is not working properly on Android 10. I'm using the same app on iOS and it's working fine but when i sign in from my OnePlus 7t Pro it shows unknown situation error and cannot sign in. I tried removing and reinstalling the app and the same issue comes up. It's the app cause when i use gdmss plus it works perfect
