EasyBrowser allows Easynews members to search and download content from the Easynews Usenet service using their Android device. This app requires an Easynews subscription.

⚝⚝ EXTERNAL SD CARD NOTE ⚝⚝Version 4.0 of this application adds support for using the Android Storage Framework, which provides support to write to the External SD card. In Android 4.4 Google changed the security for external SD cards, and this application, like many others were no longer able to write to the external SD card. In Android 4.4 you cannot use SAF to download multiple items. In Android 5.0 you can. For single downloads, you can write to the external SD card in both Android 4.4 and 5.0+. If you have never had an issue downloading, then you don't need to worry about enabling this feature. SAF is off by default, but is enabled in the Download section in the Preferences.

Hasn't been working for a few weeks now! I paid for this app and now it won't even connect to my Easynews account!! Can someone help? This was a great app, but now no longer working!
No longer works, connection tests as OK but I have no search results. Another EaszyNews app I installed works fine

Not sure why there is such a big difference between the searches on here and the searches on the easynews website. I get 0 files found on here and 350 on the website search.
Cannot sort by date. Besides that excellent but it's a key feature that is missing. Free version is too restricted

Misses a lot of stuff in searches. Another very similar app is available that does a much better job with searches.
Nicely implemented! But how come we can't play movies from the zip manager directly?

It's a really great app
Good app. Does the job.
Used it for a week now and seems to do the job quite well - using the paid version and happy with it. Only things missing are: ability to see download limit left; and adding new favourite groups by clicking a group name in a search result
I tried thinking of one positive thing thing to say about this app and I fell short, much like this app did. There's absolutely no benefit to using this over an android web browser. None. In fact it's quicker using Chrome. Clearly there's a reason for the 3.7 avg star rating. It indicates that the app is half-baked. Considering the app hasn't been updated in months, it's safe to assume the dev isn't capable of fixing this bug prone app.
I've been using Easynews for about 12 years and this app is a natural extension to a great service. People complaining about having to sign up for service, it tells you that first thing in the description...Awesome job!
All downloads stop before finishing and then or lost app is useless
Yea. Developer Email account closed. Does anybody here know where to find the file the app uses to store the list of incomplete downloads? I would like to try to import to another Usenet app.
