Carbitlink team, you should already read all the comments here. Version 3 and below works fine already, but the newest version 4 not even Maps can be used on the car display while driving. Surely we need to look at gps Maps to navigate when driving. Its a major issue for all of the user. Just roll back to some basic function as in ver 3, so that the user will be able to make use of this apps. Tq

The new design is much nicer. But when click to use one of the app, say Waze it still follows the layout of the phone. Perhaps next update can make it just display the app as landscape instead on the car display instead of following the phone layout. Coz when the phone layout becomes portrait the image on the car screen also becomes portrait. Also can you make it so that it works even when the phone screen is off/ locked.

The idea of the app kinda great, but. Firs of all, why you don't have bluetooth connection option? Only USB and wifi really? Then, the biggest WHY is why you didn't make smooth interface transition? When phone screen obviously in portrait and car screen landscape but usability sticks to one of them. THIS IS the stupidest solution I have ever saw on any platform. If you guys not sure what UX means maybe you should hire professional how knows how things works.

Before update, i was able to use waze on screen while driving. Quite convenient for drivers and alot safer than holding the device. Now this new update "not allow to use while driving" has bring headache to us all. Pls take this "not allow to use while driving" feature away. Thank you. * I've done all settings yet doesnt work.

Since version 4 I can't use apps in my car (Vitara 2019). App share the new screen but all apps I need to use on the phone. This is ridiculous. The car screen is only a desktop for icons, when click on maps or another app the carbitlink say to operating on the phone. Terrible!!!!!! Version 3 works fine until to update for version 4.

Really can't understand the point of having this app. Can't run anything when phone locks. What's the point of keeping my phone wake on and trying to operate from a screen where vertically oriented is smaller than my actual phone and have two screens on dashboard working simultaneously ????

After the app updated from easy connect to carbitlink, usb mode for screen mirror does not work as before...phone cannot be controlled properly using the touch display of car android unit, especially for GPS. Touch controls in gps are erratic and not responsive like easyconnect. No pinch in or out to get a closer or distant view

My head unit seemingly randomly will load stock Android auto, but usually loads the carbitlink-easyconnection, which is pretty buggy. If bugs were reduced and I could easily choose between stock Android auto and carbitlink/screen mirroring I would like this software, but in it's current condition I will likely get a different head unit, probably a brand name

There were literally no problems with version 3.0.3 and then when I updated to version 4, the application on my connected device looks wonky, the connection is not as straightforward because you have to go from touching the connected device to touching your phone to touching the connected device again because when you connect it it doesn't allow you to use your phone for whatever reason. They really dropped the ball on version 4 find a previous version on the internet. That's what I did.

Do yourselves a favor and find V3.03 on the internet, download and install. Disable auto update in play store as well. That's what I had to do because the new V4 is junk. I liked that it was just my phone screen on my car screen, it was basically like turning my phone into a car tablet. This new version now has its own app interface that is junk, everything is glitchy and jittery and super unfriendly to use. Why ruin a good thing? Old version was perfect. New version is garbage.

Nice UI improvement in this latest update, but still, there's no way to open several apps in landscape mode without 3rd party app. And also, I can not open my own Spotify app, if I click the sopitf app, it said that i have to first install Spotify on my phone, even though i already have Spotify on my phone. So I have to add my own spotify to the screen, I think it is better to erase the existing spotify icon on your next update.

I use to the older version of easycon for my perodua ativa where i able to play youtube while driving. The latest version now prevent me to use it and worst even my waze bo longer can be use while driving(totally a let down because what's the purpose of this as waze should be allow while driving). Because i no longer mirroring for waze usage while driving, therefore no difference for me just refer to my phone instead and i'm going to uninstall use use back the perodua smartlink.

The Old app at least worked most of the time...I could screen cast. Now this update and name change has ruined it completely. I can't screen cast...all apps can only show on my phone. It seems the Chinese do NOT have any idea about how to make apps that work correctly.

Updated to v. 4 but still won't connect to 2013 Honda dash screen either through USB or Bluetooth even after multiple attempts. Developer never responded to inquiry. Not sure what this app does except mine user data. Uninstalled but it will remain on my radar. "Wuhan" appearing in the title doesn't help either.

This app was amazing before the update. Youtube in landscape mode is unwatchable now and the screen doesn't interact with the phone. This needs to be fixed, or tell us how to return to the previous version.

Auto update and now the car controls my phone asking me to open the desired app on my phone and work it via my phone and I cannot mirror the phone to the car screen...therefore it has zero functionality. Absolutely rubbish. Easycon worked fine for my LDV T60 pro before. Worst thing ever and now I cannot use my Samsung in my car

It does not work. As soon as I open map it ask to use it on phone. The big display in the car is useless. It only good for short cut of the apps. It is not doing mirracast as ut used to do before. New version is really 👎

Works sometimes, usually after at least the second attempt. I was expecting connection to be simple but it seems very hit and miss and, to be honest, this app is a pain to use. Who wants 10 minutes of faffing around with an app before driving!

After the update, I can't mirroring my screen anymore. Only apps icons shown on the head unit screen. When you try to click on app, for ex.,youtube, it's operated on phone & can't sharing screen to the car's screen. Please fix this!

I like the new design but... YouTube start lagging after a few minutes from watching a video. Also, I can't delete Spotify from the app screen. Most of he apps need to be controlled from the phone unlike what it seems from the app photos.

This would be great, looks like Android auto, but when I launch any satnav, Google maps, or Waze, as soon as I set off driving it disconnects and says I can't use this app whilst driving. Madness, is there a work around this???

Worst app ever. One star is too generous. Don't bother installing, it doesn't work. It does NOT make driving safer because it cannot find or open any of my map apps!! It's completely useless..

Horrible experience after update, no direct options to display phone screen, has to go through map first. Cannot choose default map app. Also, the displayed phone screen is not full screen.

It's not terrible but in terms of features, it's next to nonexistent. The thing that I hate the most is the fact that you are unable to lock your phone without the infotainment screen locking as well. Meaning I have to keep my phone screen on the entire time while using Waze or Google map. What's the difference from this function and just having a phone holder? Absolute garbage design.

Utter rubbish, this new look and update made it worse now it doesn't connect to my car with easyconnection. Just keeps showing 'initialising' and won't open. Bring ack the old app worked better, although it wasn't the best.

For those having problem with touch screen and can't use app while driving, besides USB debugging enabled, you also need to turn on (give permission) to the app at Setting>Accessibility>Installed App. Put Yes for this app. Hope this helps.

Nice UI update, but it is impossible for me to connect it to head unit using cable. I can only connect with WiFi without the ability to control/touch the head unit.
