This new version (18thMay) is awful. I often browse/price flights for my family but when I have selected my flights it asks for all traveller names and ages before you can see final price. Surely you don't need me to enter all the names and ages before you give a total price. I should only have to do this when I'm going to make a final booking (as before). Get it fixed please!
Fair app, but lacking. For example, I can book a flight, then subsequently use the app to add car hire, make changes, book hotels and god knows what else, but there is no way when clicking on 'My trips' to see the actual booking I made (specifically the price paid for it). It is possible to see the itinerary with times etc, but nothing more.
Unable to book flights. After I select the return trip flight and press Continue it just takes me back to the flight selection page and not forward to check out. Maybe its because I'm running an older version on Android although requirements say version 7 a d above which I'm running. It's been ok in the past.
So many bugs, I can't book tickets via the app. It literally doesn't let me select flights in order to purchase them. Had to use their website instead which was equally difficult and ended up spending 2 hours trying to book flight using a laptop, a table and a phone.
It's so easy to use. I normally don't try and book holidays on line but find this app and the website very easy to use. I've booked three easyJet holidays just recently and a few minutes ago booked and paid for the seats for our first holiday. So far can't fault the app, the website or anything about the booking process.
Disappointed. I enquired about prices for return flights from Edinburgh to Prague for late July / early August. And I was horrified. The prices on offer for the outbound flights were reasonable 2 digit sums. But when I looked at prices for inbound flights. The prices were 4 digit sums ranging from 2000 to 3500. I did the same enquiry on the easyjet website and the prices of the incoming flights were 2 digit sums. Hmmm. Something's wrong with the App.
Usually an amazing app. Sadly a trip I booked and paid for for 2020 was cancelled because of covid-19. I agreed to accept a voucher which is no longer showing on my app. I've written to Easyjet but no response from them. UPDATE. They responded and found my flight details and found my voucher.
It used to be useful but now will not recognise the same login detail that is happily accepted on a PC despite uninstalling and re-loading a few times. Having read other reviews - SORT IT OUT Easyjet. To avoid endless frustrations I may think of deserting your airline that I have used regularly for 20 years. Michael
Abysmal. Failed to answer my quieries and gives no option to complain about poor service. There is no easy way to contact customer services. The system for booking baggage is misleading and designed to extract as much money for as little value as possible.
Shocking app and shocking service from easyJet. My flight has been cancelled, we were thrown off the plane and the app didn't work to rebook flights or hotels. No one was at the airport to assist. Do not recommend the app or easyJet
Still utter garbage, can't select a flight option, basic errors. I'm glad your apps developers aren't pilots. Fails to select an airport or remember any dates selected, just goes back to the home page every time. Total fail tried delete and reload the same.
When I try to book a flight using the app it allows me to select the flights but will not book. 16/04/22 App will not let me progress beyond the flight selection phase. So I had to book online. Very frustrating. The app is up to date.
Difficult to use. Still can not figure out how to print boarding pass. Previous versions were alot easier to use. Wish they would leave app's that work well without constant updates .
At least it's working, unlike the website! easyJet seems to have spent the pandemic making their booking systems less user-friendly and finding new ways to try to trick us into paying more than necessary.
Complete and utter garbage. Took forever to make a one way booking for 1 person, kept on telling me I had to book for 2 people. When I finally got to the payment, I entered all the details including 3 numbers on the back, the page disappeared, no confirmation email nothing. If you think I'm going through all that again, think again. Ryanair here I come! Oh yes, I've just deleted the app.
Appalling app, repeatedly loses previously loaded trip details and also cannot print out boarding cards following check in as doesn't recognise log in details. Trying to print out boarding passes because I have zero confidence they will be available in this app when needed at the airport.
Total rubbish when disruption occurs. Does not recognise logins or booking management options. Deleted and reloaded the Android app and it worked, so was able to access fight disruption and rebook on an alternative flight. The App Management team have been in touch and looked at the app access issues that have been resolved. There is ongoing investigation over the failure of the Manage Bookings, Disruption accommodation but seems to0 be a more complex issue. Good response and efforts to sort out the problems. Review to 4* from 1*.
Not very joined up - you log in to the app and if you want to see your bookings it just drops you into the website where you have to log in again. Might as well save the trouble and just use the website.
I have used this for business, and it is very handy. It is up to date informs you on flights and is easy to understand. The only thing i would like is the ability to come home different routes, and if you dont know all the flights its tricky. I would like when booking to have the option to start - add a end destination and the ability to see alternatives if the main flight is cancelled how you still get to your destination. Because you want to ensure you get each flight without fear of checkins
I hate apps & doing things on a mobile. This app is my best ever, so easy & clear even I enjoy using it. I also tried my laptop & app on mobile is definitely better. I'd get it for just one flight, but easyJet is my favourite airline, so essential aid!
Booked a return flight to edinburgh but realised it was on the wrong day. Rebooked the correct day. Phoned and cancelled the incorrect day and got refund. Printed off boarding passes. Explained only wanted the incorrect day going out not the return flight. however when i got to ediburgh airport when got to checkin desk woman said tgey had been cancelled. Said she couldnt do anything and i woukd have to call customer service. totally ignored me, rude and at one point walked off. Disgusting.
Very easy to book a ticket. Sends notifications about the flights. You can have access even without wifi. Highly recommended.
Hopeless. Will not allow me to register or log in and will not email me with the detail of any required password change. Repeat hopeless. The response from easyjet was to send a link (in Italian) which did not work. Still no email regarding password reset. My review now says "even more hopeless than before".
Agree with some of the other reviews, this is a non-intuitive app. Difficult to find what you need; it's more about up selling than helping; and then difficult to do what you need to.
There is a fundamental conflict between this app and online. Cannot delete app account as the deletion section is comete rubbish. Also I wa t receipts for the extras I payed for which I cannot get. All in all. Rubbish app rubbish airline.
my feedback has nothing to do with the app but with easyjet itself... just a piece of advice if you travel with this airline is to make sure you have a carry bag not with a trolley... yes because even if your carry bag is as big as your couch they will not ask you to pay extra for the luggage buuut if they see a trolley even it is a size as your wallet they will charge you extra. If they see wheels? You know you know! personal experience from zurich to porto!
Very confusing and not fully functional. Difficult to get help and if you are an Easyjet plus customer forget the app as it doesnt recognise you for changing flights etc
What an awful, non-intuitive app. It doesn't remember your login even when you tick 'remember me'. You have to log in everytime. It fails to remember you've already checked in and it's almost impossible to get to your boarding pass even though you can see your seat allocations. I work in IT and I feel ashamed that people in my industry can come up with such a prodigiously useless app.
Overall efficient, but the fact that the app doesn't save some of your personal data is very annoying. I always have to say I'm 18+(afaik you cannot age back so if you are 18+ once it is pretty certain you will stay that way), enter my wife's name and surname, and enter our easy jet plus membership numbers (which I need to look for on the card). It would be pretty easy minor fixes that would make booking much easier.Also when changing flights or other easy jet plus member benefits app is useless
