EasyPark

I suppose this app works very well for many people, but not me. I went on vacation in Italy and rented a car. When i installed the app and got to the point where i needed to complete with my card information it kept declining my card. I tried multiple cards, debit and credit and none of them worked. I got the same response ,,Data error, please verify your entered details as they seem incorrect". Keep in mind i never had any issues with my cards, nor did I entered my details wrong.

Horrible dial to select your time also 10% dearer than paying at the meter the paystay app was a lot better. And it appears to charge upfront as opposed to paying for time used. Developer asked myself to contact them about my concerns well they're listed above, it's not pay as you go it's an upfront guess and pay for how much time I might need, 10% more expensive than other apps and the meter on the street, unable to delete my card details can only edit them but who knows if it delete them.

The idee behind your app is great, but only if you have the FULL Version of the app, if NOT everything is missing, the price is not clear, the fees in Italy are enormous and you are not able to see them before buying the parking, they can reach extra 15%. Contact the suport before using the application, the cost for the full version is 2.99€/month.

Compared to its predecessor, Easy Park fails dismally. In the previous app, you don't need to preselect your time. You only need to pay for actual usage. So with Easy Park we have ended up paying much much more. Also the transaction fee is unconscionable. A drastic downgrade and not customer-oriented at all.

Terrible app. 10% transaction fee. And not mentions that while you using the app (at least you won't notice it easily) just ripping off the users. The paystay app we are using is far better. I am not sure why the local councils decide to change to this app. It's absolutely like a scam. I will pay my parking with coins and credit card again for sure.

Terrible app. Only allows you to enter one credit card as a payment method instead of multiple cards (eg private and business cards). This forces you to sign up with them for a business account. Shame that Parkmobile app pulled out of Australia and now we are stuck with EasyPark. Spinning the wheel to set the time is gimmicky but impractical.

It never works when you need it, it lacks basic functionality such as telling you where you parked (which is surprising for an application with the only purpose of stating where you parked?), UI is generally terrible, it's hard to even tell how much credit is left and where your money is!

I was forced to migrate my Park now account to easy park Well that worked, but I already has an easy Park account. Now my Parking history and my registered vehicles are deleted! How do I get my parking expenses from last month downloaded? Although you bought ParkNow, that app was easier, worked more intuitive Most disadvantage with EasyPark is: Handle the electronic receipts is more complicated If you are not inside a parking area with your phone, you cannot pay the parking!

I don't have a car but rent them once in a while. So I deleted the app a while ago. When downloading again and wanting to login after a few months, its asking me to remember the license plate for last car I used to verify my login? Urgently needs a hotfix! Updated after answer: if downloading the app spontaneously when parking, any verification is acceptable that I can do without calling or sending emails, as long as I can do it within two-four minutes. Downloaded the App and paid online. Came back to the car to find a $88.00 fine! App shows payment made. Now having to waste my time to dispute the parking infringement. Come on Oracle Broadbeach, get a parking system that works. Just ask the queue of disgruntled customers at the parking machine! I'm never using the Easypark App as there's nothing easy about it!

FRAUD - my card keeps getting charged when someone else is parking the same car. I used this app in Denmark while in holidays renting a car. It asks for the car's registration plate and a credit card which get linked together. I tried deleting both the car and the payment card but not working. Now whoever rents the same car and sets that reg plate in the app, gets the payment method already set and charging on my credit card. How stupid can the devs of this app be?! Of course no reply from them

Worst apps ever. Didnt even works in australia. Wonder how much they bribed the council that they switched to this apps instead of the old paystay which clearly better, works, and wasnt a piece of junk like this apps. Every code here didnt work, has to estimate the length of stay instead of only pay what used, like paystay, and still cant be used. No code found at all,no area found at all. If there are worse rating than 1, would surely had given it. Better and faster to pay at parking meter

Although EasyPark is easy to use, PayStay has a simpler interface, allows you to pay just for the time you use and doesn't charge an additional 10% fee for service. In other words, EasyPark has become a bit of a rip-off. So sad...

EasyPark App charges 10% commision each time you use it so I'm noticing the increase in my weekly parking costs in comparison with PayStay. It's called "Easy"Park, but if anything it's more difficult than PayStay now that you have to guess the time you think you will return to your car and then stop the timer when you actually return to your car. (P.s. spare me the generic response that tries to put the onus back on the reviewer)

Apart from being forced to use it now by City of Melbourne (why go away from Paystay which worked perfectly for years) I now have to use an app with a terrible interface, doesn't charge for consumption (instead charges on estimate so I have to over estimate in case something happens so they get money for nothing), and charges me a 10% service fee compared to paying on the street meters. Why would I use it...how can you justify a 10% service fee??? I used to love the simplicity of Paystay but I certainly won't be using EasyPark. And MCC - why the change? You want people to come back to the city but you've made it harder and more expensive.

Why are all impust made by a huge Ferris Wheel?! Ever heard the quote: "A user interface is like a joke. If you have to explain it, it’s not that good"? A simple act to fill out two fields: - date and time when your parking started (non-editable) - date and time when you want to end your parking (editable) Haa been replaced by a huge wheel covering 90% of the screen. i need to see my starting/ending time, and what the prices per hour are. Not a final price which is still 3 euro more via the app!

Putting 2* cause parking experience in Melbourne Australia has been anything but easy. Like others mention, having lots of difficulty with locating parking zones. Hope these are just teething issues which get resolved soon.

The app works well but almost every time you choose to park using the basic features, the parking won't start and you have to select the extra features option to start your active parking. Of course you have to pay an extra on the premium features; don't get me wrong: I know this is the way developers make some money and I totally support that but if you are offering an option, it should work. Also, the option to park using basic features is offered very very very rarely. Same comment as above.

My favorite parking app, but this week hasn't been a good one. First, at two separate occasions, the app didn't match with the street parking. There could've been changes by the city, but a parking app should put priority to keeping up with them. Second, the account my app is linked to failed one payment. As soon as I got the text from EasyPark, I transferred money to it. 8 minutes later I got a second text telling me my account had been paused and when I checked, my card info was "inactive".

Far from Easy Had to stand in the rain to download an app which is 50mb in size on a terrible 4G connection. Then had to create an account. Then discovered you can't link the thing to Google Pay, and I had to go online to find my credit card number. This system is far from "easy" It's rubbish.

Extremely and unnecessarily complicated. Not at all user friendly. Totally geared to finding a park rather than paying once you already have a spot. Paystay much better.

I used easy park 3 time this week with no issues,and then i used it again i put the timer and started parking then when i came back to the car i got a ticket because the app just automatically stop parking after 10 mins i started the parking,and it ssys there is no email registered to this app but i have it,and it works many times.now i have to pay 750 kr. because of it.

Useless, Melbourne council has rolled out this new parking app to replace PayStay since 31 Mar 2022 and up till now the app still says no parking zone in the city. Messages the on the 31st Mar the operator said they will fix the bugs soon but as at today still not fixed. And from what I realise it doesn't allow pay as you go, you must set and pay for a time when you start.

App is great and i use it a lot. But i have one request/complaint. Can you do something about parking summary? You had an option to turn it off before, which did not work, and now its not even there. When i end my parking i get a parking summary window which overlays google maps while im driving, its quite annoying. Please add an option to disable it. Thank you
