EasyTether Tablet compatibility notes:Android 7.0 / 6.0 / 5.1 / 5.0: web browsing worksAndroid 4.4: does not generally work; some devices may work with dummy Wi-Fi trick though.Android 4.3 down to 4.0.3: web browsing works; dummy Wi-Fi or a similar trick required for other apps.
These notes apply to the Tablet-side app only. EasyTether for phones works on all Android versions.
Install on your tablet and follow the instructions.
EasyTether Tablet provides Internet connection shared from your phone using USB or Bluetooth.
USB tethering requires a USB host cable (also known as a USB OTG cable)!
If you need to tether your phone to your computer or router, see the phone-side EasyTether application.
A known issue:Apps that ask the system if there is an Internet connection do not work.It happens because the system does not treat VPN connection without underlying Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G connection as Internet connection. It does not matter if you use the Lite or the full EasyTether on your phone.
The workaround is to connect to some dummy Wi-Fi network (without Internet access).

These people have always been so helpful and prompt. I love the app because it does exactly what it says and if I run into a problem I can't fix then they do what ever it takes to get it done. This app and the people behind it are the best.! 😊 The happiest I can be.
Easy Tether and Easy Tether Tablet USB indicate connected between phone and tablet (android 9). But tablet browsers (http) & apps indicate there's no network connection.
I tryed 2 cables and none of them work, i hate this dont get it its a waste of your time

Have been using this app for quite some and it was really good, after an earlier update.. I could no longer access emails, internet connectivity was random, as the app drops connection without notice(keep an eye on the key icon). After most recent update, in addition to various individual app updates, issues become less. Random connection drop..... no more, this has become an absolutely useful app. If it wasn't for this app, I would not be able to write this review.
I use this with an older phone that's 3g. The tethering is almost seamless, minus a few hiccups that are easily resolved. I just go to the app on my tablet, hit the name of the "network" that I'm connected to to disconnect, then reconnect. Done. It seems like I only have to do that when the tablet goes to sleep. I'm okay with that. The only thing that you should be cautious of is any auto updates. Depending on your tab setup, you might incur excess data usage. Tabs treat tethering as wifi. If you have data limits, turn off Google store automatic updates, and any other automatically updating software. Even notifications use data. Just a heads up. That goes for any of the tethering apps. This one is the best and most reliable that I have used. And devs, is there any way that you could put a timer or timeout period that is adjustable? I actually like when the app disconnects sometimes when the tablet is sleeping. Would like to have control of that. Thanks, and well done. Keep up the great work. BTW, this is posted using EasyTether Tablet, using an LG Optimus Fuel, tethered to a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4.
This won't work unless you can bluetooth tether your phone with your tablet. The Samsung Galaxy S7 from AT&T disables that ability, which is why I needed this app in the first place. Useless for Bluetooth tethering in order to overcome AT&T stupidity.
I use this to stay on the right road while I was traveling constantly in 2013-14. I highly recommend getting the paid version, it is worth every nickel and then some.
With the full version on my phone I can tether over Bluetooth. It might not be the fastest but it works.
If anyone says otherwise you are a potato. Neat trick, tether to pc, share pc internet connection, back feed to your router, WiFi for everyone and faster than just bluetooth

Hello can you make a wifi mode so i can connects it to a ps4 to play fortnite.
On usb tether I only have browser ...no apps or google...why? Is there an option/configuration?
I am able to do both bluetooth and usb tethering simultaneously. No delay or lag whatsoever. This is by far the best $10 I have ever spent. I set up an old router I had so the tablet thinks its connected to the internet. For only ten dollars i now have phone, internet and tv. Now i dont have to pay outrageous prices for home internet and satellite tv.
I've used easytether pro on my laptop for years and it works great. Just downloaded this to tether from phone to tablet and really disappointed. Connection is VERY slow and won't work at all with some apps (netflix). Please upgrade software so that Bluetooth tethering to tablet is as functional as wired connection to laptop
Easy to setup and use. Great support from Mobile Stream. I've been using it for years as a backup for when wi-fi goes down. Now I use it with my Fire tablet when there is no wi-fi.
