I Waa recommended this program from my Dr. I downloaded the app and paid the annual subscription and have still not been able to access the app. It keeps asking me to pay the subscription even though I have already paid and checked that it has indeed been charged to my credit card. I did receive an email from Maria after subscripting and have replied asking for help twice with no response. Want a refund after 5 weeks with no help from Eat Right Now. Customer service is terrible.

I love this App! I have been trying to eat mindfully for years and now I am doing it. I have a totally new healthy relationship with food. I enjoy it more yet I eat so much less of it. Have I lost weight mindfully eating? You bet I have!!

Once, I would just cook not thinking about the nutritional value of the meal. When I went to restaurants, I just thought about the flavor of the food and how good it was going to be. Now that I started this program, I noticed that I now pay attention to everything I eat. I even noticed I am always paying attention to the amount of food I am eating.

Love the concept, hate the "bait and switch!" After 4 days of solid and helpful info, the ap won't allow me to access day 5 content without purchasing a subscription, yet irritatingly (yes, i checked in today w that emotion) still continues to ping my phone with check in reminders. Clearly the developers are masters at understanding the habit loop, they also appear experts in manipulating habits to sell their subscriptions... Dont bother downloading if you dont intent to pay after day 4.

If you miss one notification/action, the next one overrides it. The app doesn't allow you to complete the first action after receiving a notification for a second one. You miss the action. Multiple times per day there is a check-in about how you're feeling followed by a mindfulness exercise. There are choices for feelings. Although there are several, none of them typically apply. There is a choice for "other," but it doesn't have an option to type in a unique response for what "other" is.

Some of the content could be useful but it is an extemely rigid program. They've broken the program into predetermined chunks and you are forced to progress at their determined pace. No learn at your own pace here. If you try to move to a different topic without completing one you've started, it resets the one you started, so if you change your mind and want to go back to the previous topic, you are forced to repeat everything at a snails pace. I won't be renewing.

This was my first day using your app. After going through the first lesson and reading all the notes and directions, I was excited about your approach. Unfortunately, when I came to the page with the Journal button, the button wasn't "hot." I couldn't proceed without clicking on the part about upgrading my subscription. Then, I looked for technical support on the app and on the website but couldn't find it on either. I've uninstalled the app until I can get some help from you. Thx.

This app is beautifully designed and easy to use. The training program is well structured into manageable daily lessons and there are lots of ways to customize it: work at your item pace, return to lessons you need to review, etc. There are also meditations and exercises always available to help you meet different needs (like telling whether you are truly hungry or riding out cravings). It is a very thoughtful app and program and I recommend highly.

I just tried to use this app and found that the fonts are so tiny and the color scheme so low contrast that I could not read anything but the labels at the top of the page. I am visually impaired but can assess that the readability of this app's font is very poor. It would not be accessible to older readers. I searched for in app font controls but did not find any.

The approach here is really making a difference to me. First gear is understanding my own habit loops, second gear is noticing all the uncomfortable effects of overeating. The app directs my attention to this over and over so I can develop the habit of noticing. In the past I've tried to skip second gear and go right into third gear of various food-limiting protocols, which I found hard to stick with. Shifting gears uses natural learning mechanisms to drive change.

This is a good app, but the user interface is really bad. The user interface is clunky and a battery hog. The design is not responsive and cannot adapt to the given resolution and device orientation. The goal of good interface design is to allow effective operation and control of the device from the human end. With that said, this interface is sadly lacking.

The mindfulness taught in this app is great. I can't say it led me to loose a bunch of weight, but having a deeper understanding of what was happening helped for sure. More importantly, the mindfulness practice helped me cope with all the unknowns at the start of the pandemic. My 6 year old also loves listening to the body scan at bedtime with me to fall asleep. He requests it regularly. Very well done app. Dr. Brewer has a very calming presence, making the overall learning experience enjoyable.

This is the mindfulness app I've been waiting for! Mindfulness is wonderful, but other meditation apps don't help us put it to work. This one does! Finally I'm learning how to really apply my meditation practice to living a healthier, more joyful life. I went from exercising never to exercising daily. I no longer crave junk food, I'm repelled by it now that I can see what it is and how it serves me. That's after just one month! I'm excited to see where this journey takes me next!

A truly life changing app. This was the magic missing piece for me: a tool literally in my pocket to pull out and use any time an unhealthy habit starts to rear it's ugly head. It helped me to truly break out of my emotional eating habits that have kept me trapped in endless vicious cycles for years. Somewhat helpful but repetitive. You start with "core modules" to learn program basics. Then switch to "theme" weeks expanding on the core module. They were ok but nothing great except for the nutritional modules that are new material. Then about month 6, you MUST do "custom" weeks based on the core modules AGAIN. But unlike the theme weeks, there is NO new material, just excerpts from the core modules. WHAT A RIP OFF. I'm paying $25/month for THE EXACT SAME LESSONS! I am canceling now.

Highly recommend. This is not just an app, it is a whole psychology program designed to help you change habits. Many diets claim that they will permanently change your approach to good but this program actually gives you tools, not just information and homilies.

Wow, there's a plethora of incredible exercises and strategies to help you understand your own relationship to food and eating, based on the latest science. No recipes or injunctions about diet, but how to take control of your own behaviour through awareness. I've only just started but I have high hopes.
