Downloaded a few days ago (July 2019) and took it for a long test run in Sydney. Tracked me fine for the first 30kms, then only straight lines from point to point as the crow flies, and a few zany lines way out in places I didn't go. Also find it irritating it doesn't have auto-caps for any of the text entry boxes in the whole app.
Search functionality does not work properly. When searching for a city, typing Middlesborough and clicking correct result when it finds it, it changes to England. I tried to search for Devil's Bridge and when selecting correct result it changes to Wales and does not show the place. It hinders the "exploring" part of your "sales" pitch. Also, when I am invited to a group and swipe the notification away, I haven't found a way to accept such invite from within the app.
Multiple issues such as following and followers not displaying correctly, cannot upload a profile photo or garage photo and the app keeps crashing when making these changes. Changing ride group also crashes the app. Shocking that a app is released in this state. Definitely won't subscribe to paying features if the basic features don't even work.
Very Buggy App, frequently crashes...and speaking of crashes...I paid $15 for the CrashLight notification option, and it is very touchy. At the lowest sensitivity it says that I've crashed just' cuz I've slowed down to go around a corner... totally useless! I would like my money back. update....Update 03/06 - discovered the latest SOS! messages were not the fault of the uninstalled app, but actually from my phone pwr button being pushed quickly 3x in succession by the phone holder.
great potential but poor execution. i paid 15 quid for something that doesnt work. Crashlight feature doesnt work as the feature seems to close if the phone screen goes off. ive tried every possible setting in both phone and app to ensure all necessary processes stay running in the background but it still just closes after a few minutes.
OK premise but seems to miss the mark. I'm not sure if it's not social enough or not customisable enough. It may just be that it's not used enough in the UK, or my area. It's not easy to do some things that you'd expect it to though. Also for me it doesn't work properly on my device. Tech support asked some questions initially but haven't replied and the issues aren't fixed. I'll keep it on my phone and see if it improves but I won't be using it. EDIT - Issues still not fixed despite the developers comment unless they mean once the update comes so I'll wait until then to be sure...
I think that it is a good app. We primarily use it for the challenges. It's nice to see how you rank with other riders.
doesn't save your ride. It crashes all the time. i did a ride today but when i went to look at it afterwards it just hung on a screen saying "loading". i shut the app and opened it again. Still loading. left it 30 mins. Still loading. the ride wasn't showing in my main dashboard, only in saved rides but won't open. i uninstalled it and reinstalled. the ride totally disappeared. not in saved rides either.
Crashlight is very touchy and unpredictable. Like the idea but have had multiple false readings. The lean angle feature never seems to work as well. It always registers 0 degrees even when I know I have learned the bike atleast 45 degrees. Please advise.
Just installed this onto my Android phone. Tried to start it up and I get the blue screen with esr in the middle then seconds later I get a message saying "Unfortunately, ESR has stopped" and the app crashes. Thinking it might be an issue with my phone rather than the app as the same thing is happening to my Rever app which has been working fine previously. At a loss as to what the issue is. As I am unable to test it out it is only one star for now.
