Absolutely love it! Heard about the app through some automotive YouTube shows I watch. When I downloaded it I was not disappointed! My favorite feature is the option to save specific searches. You can go back in and see if your dream car has popped up, or it will notify you when a new posting for your specific search has been posted.
Cannot sign in to eBay via eBay Motors to sync activity. I enter my account name, password, approve notification, and the app returns to the same My Motors screen prompting me to sign in to sync. Yet, I can sign in to the eBay app after jumping through some hoops. (Biometric doesn't work, so I have to sign in manually, then activate biometric again for it to work.)
Ebay is a complete waste of time to sell a vehicle. I've had 4 people bid and back out, forcing me to relist several times. There is no penalty for these people as they do not have to put anything down on the vehicle like other auction sites. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME BECAUSE OF BIDDERS WHO HAVE NO INTENTION OF PAYING FOR THE CAR.
This app is horrible nobody even looks at your ad. Then my ad ended up in the wrong category I talked to the help person who said take my ad down and relist it he would drop the 79 dollar charge. Nope still charged me anyway. Don't bother trying until they fix this mess or attract some bidders back
The app eventually likes to restart after a period of time scrolling down. This happens everytime and I lose where I left off browsing cars. I always just end up closing the app afterwards. Other than that, it's a great app.
App doesn't save searches correctly. When I revisit a saved search with a zip code the ZIP code is not being saved so it will show results from across the US. If I try to reapply the zip code and resave the search it deletes it as a saved search and so I have to recreate it all over again.
I can't add directly to a cart, any checkout has to be 1 item at a time, and im redirected to eBay on my browser for checkout, instead of buying in the app. Otherwise we'd be at 5 stars.
Worst app ever for finding parts, please return to original eBay app or make it easier, I shouldn't have to click through for 25 minutes to find one part, after weeding through the imposter and cheap parts, still cannot add to watching/wishlist
Horrible it's as if the developers have no idea what the purposeof Ebay is... maybe alerts for auctions that are ending when I've added to favorites... can't save searches, can't safe preferences. Why do I need to remind it what my zipcode is everytime I open the app.
eBay has become practically useless for finding a car. I don't want to search just by make I want to search by radius and every car in that radius but I'm no longer able to do that because the people who are in charge are apparently absolute morons.
Easy to use, nice options for filtering cars to your specific needs. The only issue I have is that once you click on the picture to view all the detailed pictures, I'm not able to swipe left or right to view pictures using the full screen which is very annoying. Edit: the developers already fixed the issue, back to 5 stars. Thanks!
Good idea, just needs work for selling. Would like to edit photos, at least rotate, and add a video (not Take a Video). After you save a listing, would like to start a new listing at Step 1, instead of having the first listing stuck on Step 2. Overall, it's odd that after all these years it's so hard to list a car from regular ebay or the ebay app.
I'll be looking at vehicles and all the sudden it glitches and there are random car parts then glitches again and it random vehicles. I'm not looking for car parts I'm looking at vehicles but it's damn near impossible now due to the stupid car parts popping up.
Feedback for ebay: I clicked on "View full details" to see interior pictures of a truck but the larger image doesn't fit on my very large phone screen. It's like I'm looking at a desktop format on my phone, but I can't even zoom out to see full images. And if I rotate my phone to get the image to fit, the app doesn't rotate. (Sad face) Also, I like the slider of 12 thumbnail images of the exterior. Please consider putting a slide immediately below that of 12 interior photos.
Nice app but lacking some features, biggest one is, how do I save parts that I want to order later...
I purchased one car off the app, I couldn't be happier with the experience
almost perfect, just needs a bookmark or favorites button.
Charged me 57 dollars on Insertion fees on my listing because ebay kept glitching and wouldn't let me edit my listing so I deleted it and made another. that one glitch out and wouldn't let me do annything to so I made another after I made my final one ebay informed me somtime later that I owed 57 even tho I deleted the listings because ebay is hard to use and glitchy. half the time it doesn't work I find it very hard to use and not worth it I'm very upset about the 57 dollars
Not good at all- it makes you sign in to the app then it makes you sign into the website to use the app . Then they charge you up front about 80 bucks for 10 days of listing with out guarantee of selling the vehicle, how about you guys collect after the vehicle sold and not before??
Can not add items to watch list. Can not search for vehicle specific parts. Was better before it was a seperate app.
Tried to create account and it immediately suspended the account. It says an email was sent to me to explain why but the email only says 'New sign in activity on your ebay account if this was you you're good to go' and nothing about suspension.
Been trying to post a vehicle for sale but it closes every time I try to upload a photo. Been trying for 2 days now and it keeps starting over.
These sites really show the public,whats available without paying retail......
The previous eBay messaging system worked fine,this one not so much.I was notified three times in the last 6 hrs that I had three msgs from interested buyers on an item I am selling. The msgs were all the same, requesting that I text a reply and asking obvious questions that were in the listing and tendering a low price offer. By texting they have sucessfully bypassed eBay msg system and is now free from scrutiny to defraud, scam and phish!
Searching for anything is a joke, it can't find anything I search even when I have my car in the "garage" and have "parts" highlighted. Just stick to the ebay app since this one is junk. Searched for a cv joint off a 2016 buick regal and kept getting bearings or window visors because it was "unable to find that part in the search" which the regular ebay website easily could find it.
