This app doesn't work on Android...is managed no better than Cricket Australia Nothing has changed in the last three years. Alerts have never worked on Android....and now it just crashes. Mirrors the state of English cricket
Since the update the app won't load without shutting almost immediately. Reinstall seems to fix for a day or two then the same thing happens again. Before this update the app was great.
The live streaming is good but u can hardly read the scores unless u got a electron microscope at hand !!! Pick it up and give us some better coverage
It's a good app to keep up with the latest cricket scores and matches but crashes too frequently for no reason upon opening the app
As in 2020, keeps crashing every time I open the app. Unusable since the update.
App now has a bug that means it keeps crashing.
This used to be a great app. The new update has brought some good features but it simply isn't as good as it was. It used to have a big scoreboard screen which stayed active on the screen and updated itself. While the new commentary is good you have to keep manually scrolling down as it updates so it's really difficult to follow. Also you have to change screen to see the batsmen's scores. Give us back the scoreboard!
finally watching county cricket. long ago they used to broadcast it in Bangladesh. they don't anymore. I used to watch it. now no one likes test cricket. thank you so much.
Generally the app is a big improvement over the previous version but poor information on delays. There is a difference between rain and bad light. No news of inspections or start times after a delay. Also would like the option of the previous vertical scroll of fixtures. Not able to choose a specific KSL team.
Useful to check scores although fiddly to see full scorecards... The retro style scoreboard look on the apple version was much better than the drab android interface and the quality and quantity of news and video is poor. Invariably I check the score on the ECB but then flick to BBC for news, articles, podcasts and - in the summer - video highlights.
Broken. Won't load. Just shuts down.
The last update has really made the app close to useless. The news and video tabs are continually unavailable, there's no mention of the Hundred in the fixture list, the livestreams need you to be logged in but the log-in button no longer responds and the match updates happen after quite a delay - they come through much quicker from the Cricket Australia app.
At least now it loads the matches. What has happened to the interface its an immature garnish of colours. No information of how many runs a team might be leading by. All the information squashed on one line IE: A century does not fit on one line. The last app you could scroll down and see all of the matches now have to punch on a date. App is disgraceful.
used to be a great app, continuous updates on all current matches etc. Now as soon as I click on a match to look at the stats the app crashes, especially the England matches. Disappointing seeing the first test against the Windies is imminent. have uninstalled app until it gas been fixed.
Notifications for wickets keep failing to show. How difficult can it be to get this fixed?
Not as many bells and whistles as the ESPN cricket app but I like it. A good offering from ECB that functions well. Previously had issues with notifications not showing, this was due to me preventing the app from running in the background as I do with most apps. All good now.
I loved this app and I've used it for a while now, but I don't like the new update. you are now limited to following two teams only which is a pain, and the main scores section shows more than you actually choose without the option of removing what you don't want. it makes it very frustrating and I'll now be using a different app while hoping this will go back to how it was. it's a shame as this app really was the best, now sadly it isn't.
I've just had the update of the app and its awful. I used to be able to have the scores for my selected team and then swipe the page to pick up the scores in the competitions I'm interested in. Now its all piled on one page in childish garish colours. Really unimpressed
The new app doesn't show you what the innings target is. If you want to follow a specific overseas team, you have to select the full firehose of all international matches. Selecting a favourite domestic team does not bring that team to the top of your feed. Terrible update to what had been a decent app.
Really great to have when not watching Sky or listneing to TMS. Keeps me right up to date. Also great for checking past matches or others that are also on. In a word, Excellent. The app itself is brillanit, clear, colourful, with all the information you need. Love the videos. Easy to use. Couldn't be better!
This app used to be good but has become increasingly unreliable since the redesign. It often fails to download either the matches or the scorecards. I am increasingly using alternatives as I'm fed up with this app, It's like most things to do with the ECB - change something for no good reason and ruin it!
Keeps scores updated really well but the news is old and video news even older. The live stream don't let you go back if you miss a wicket etc, and you can only get out of it by pressing your on/off button on the phone to bring the back arrow up. I use the county's own link underneath and click into you tube where you can rewind or even click on the batsman name to watch the wicket.
Dreadful since update. I used to be able to stand my phone upright and use the app as a "virtual scoreboard". Now I need to hold the phone up to my face to even see the current score. Please reinstate a "scoreboard" feature of decent size!!
Unfortunately, in the Bob Willis Trophy team sheets I just couldn't read the players names, also the total points were incomplete. The old 'scoreboard' type app was excellent, but of course the app boffins have to meddle and change things!
The app is getting better. Would be good if the notifications worked also would be nice especially in test matches and 4 day games you could see what the lead is and on the final day how many runs they need to get to win instead of having to work it out
You have timely coverage of T20 blast I'm happy for that. However please make it more user friendly. Like when we manually subscribe a match it doesn't send the notifications. For that we have to add that team in Favourite team. You can't change the favourite teams in every match. Please resolve this 🙏
It is good just to get the scores in which I am interested. But the line about runs to win gives nonsense a lot of the time and irritates. No bonuses until it is sorted out.
