Its convinient. My problem with it is that it doesn't give you any notification when your credit is about to finish or even finished. When you check the balance you dont get a true figure. Your power goes off unceremoniousely and when you recharge you realized you were too much in deficit. Secondly, I could check the dashboard to see my consumption but for so long it doesnt show. I wish the app would be improved to get me to give a 5 star rating. Thanks.
Quite good but needs improvement. The usage data doesn't load any info, it's also difficult loading the payment history. App is slow in lunching too. More room for improvement. Those having problems with adding your meters, not all the smart meters can be added. Also you have to add your meter account no. It is a requirement now, without it you will have server error. It can be found on your receipts or call the office for that no.
The app just stopped working. It keeps saying connectivity issues. But there are no issues. I have tried it on 2 different wifi networks and the mobile data only. Everything else on my phone is connecting seamlessly and working fine. But now this app. So I checked for an update and there isn't any. I had to Uninstall the app and reinstall it. Now it is asking me to either register for a new account or change phone numbers. But this is the same phone and number! Very frustrating to paying clients
Not too bad for a start. It would have been better if the app could compute and display consumption in real time as well as every payment history (including previous balance and amount due) at the end of the mandated 35 days, from the very first day meter was issued. Also adding a STAY LOGGED IN button would be a plus cos it's a bit annoying to have to log in each time you exit app.
This app is really helping but unfortunately, it is not available for PCs. I think there should be an improvement so that customers can download and install the app on their PCs so they could log into their account and purchase their credit. It's really convenient especially, in the middle of the night when you run out of credit. I recommend ECG replaces all old meters and to replace them with this current one.
It's such a shame that the app cannot show usage data, purchase history or even facilitate payment for a smart meter. PDS was far better and worked perfectly well. I'm worried that we seem to fuel the notion that we cannot provide good customer service in the public service. It is very frustrating, guys, please do well to fix these basic issues else this app has no business being on Play Store. It seems that I wasted my time and airtime even downloading it. Thank you.
I use the app with a post paid metre. It'd be great if there was an option to download or view the bill on the app (and not just the balance). It'd also be great to see transaction history. A few improvements will go a long way to making our experiences much better.
If it is possible not to give any star at all I would. This app has functioned properly only once. Majority of the time just gave me headaches. When you purchase credit with the app, it takes your money alright and gives you error messages and you will have to call service center numerous times to have it rectified. This app is not ready for commercial usage.
I toped up my meter 3 days ago and up to now I still don't have light. And there's not even a way to contact the managers meanwhile there's a space in the app for help and support which doesn't even work. Further, it doesn't even notify you when you will be expecting light but when it comes to money, you receive notification that your account has been debited. My rate will still remain 1 star until the problem is fixed.
The app does not let me do anything, I can't even log in. Anytime I try to do something, it gives me a notification to check my Internet connection, meanwhile my Internet is working just fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and it still gives me the same notification
This app is really not ready for use by ECG customers. I have had it for about a week now. The only thing it shows me is how much credit I last purchased. It doesn't show how much of it I have used, none of the reports on usage (daily, weekly, monthly) shows any data even though I am sure the data exists either through a query to the meter or in ECG's own database. Please spend some time to complete the app (including providing useful info like balance remaining) and stop frustrating your users.
I wish l could give it a top rate but unfortunately it has specific meters it supports. I will recommend you bring other meters too ASAP to be accessible by all. It's kinda disappointing when l downloaded the app only to find out it doesn't supports my type of meter.
I'm only giving one star because I'm able to buy credits at least. It takes forever for the power to come back on, the payment history doesn't work, the balance check doesn't work. I bought 50gh credit, it lasted for 4 days. Terrible app, terrible service!
Playstore can u kindly take off this app, it does not work and its misleading people. Please delete the app This app used to work fine some months ago. Suddenly if you want to log in, it tells you have no internet connectivity, when data is abunduntly flowing. You cannot check consumption level even though the functionality is there. And no notice if power is about to finish. There are tons of fixes you have to make in this app before i give even a 1 star but 1 star is mandatory so i give it.
This app is ok but needs a few improvements 1. Saving the log in info so you don't have to keep entering a password 2. Alert you if the credit is running low 3. When topping up if it reverses it should alert If you top up and it shows then disappears you need to do the following Go to notifications in the app There you will see the purchase and also a transaction ID Get the physical device they gave you and put the transaction ID in and press enter ... this will load your meter
You need more to improve this app.. first time I used it was better but now it can't connect.. they say Network Connectivity could not be established for this operation. Please check network connectivity and try again... And I try it.. it almost three weeks still it can't connect.. please update the app for us.
It's a good app but my account always logs out on it own when ever I close the app and return to my home screen, And also it usually gives an internet connection error even though there is enough and a good connection, the error can only be solved by closing the app and reopening it to log in again.
Excellent, with this app, I am able to recharge my prepaid meter anytime of the day or even in the night. The recharge is very quick after you finish dialing the twenty token number they give you. I neither go to their office nor a merchant to buy credit anymore but through Momo, I get my recharge token or automatic recharge. Thank you for developing this wonderful app.
Since the last update in July I've been getting error messages after payment. Meanwhile I've been debited. Most functions on the app don't even work. Anything you select under meter management either gives error feedback or does not respond at all. If we're going to trust this app then it really must be improved
This app used to be good but as of now if I try recharging it keeps telling me the app cannot establish connection with network. It doesn't give consumption details which is very bad. At least one should be alerted when his or her balance is going down.
You guys.. please this is the 3rd consecutive payment error that has occured for me personally. If the app can no longer serve its purpose of convenience, kindly let us know so we won't even have to bother with its usage. I will be waiting for your email that asks for transaction details blah blah and will take over 24 hrs to even be rectified. Thank you
I gave the app 4 stars initially but i have rescinded my decision because I can no longer check my balance with the app. Anytime i click on check balance the app stops. I can make payment but cannot check my balance on the app. Very frustrating . Am giving it just a star for now.
Now,I buy credit on this app but it's not reflecting on my app but Vodafone cash has deducted my money in my account... And the app isn't responding anymore.... I tried recharging again and it shows error.... I have called the helpline and all my credit have even finished without any solution..... This is just waste of time,money,credit and data ....
Thanks for the innovation. I buy credit and check the balance all on my device. But it's too slow and needs to be improved. Apart from that, the other details of the balance does not show. Instead of showing the higher and lower usage of the month. Lastly, am not also enjoying the 50% as announced by the president. However, you are doing well.
It was recommended to me and I downloaded it. It's served it's purposes very well. It's only on one occasion that it failed me where it took several hours for the network to come back. Later I heard that there was a general challenge with the network. Please inform customers if you need to do routine maintenance or something so that we dont get into such situations. Honestly I wish others like Ghana Water Company could emulate you. Thumbs Up .
I like using this app alot just that sometimes it really difficult to use but aside that I love the convenience. I want to make a suggestion, could the developers kindly fix in a reminder or an alert to notify us when our balances are running low so we top up before it completely exhaust. One might be going about his/her day then boom light goes out. Plus the amount of time it takes when you top up using the app is soooo frustrating at times. Please 🙏 do well to hear us out.
