CHARGE ON THE GO
• Connect your electric vehicle with a suitable charging cable with the charging station.
• Select the required charging point in the app. Enter your charging point number into the search box.
• Select “Prepare charging”, choose your desired payment method and charging options and start charging.
• As soon as the charging session has been approved, both cable ends will be locked. The cables can only be removed by you.
• You can stop your charging session at any time.

As an owner or co-user of a private wall box (eBox smart, eBox touch or eBox professional) you can
connect it with the eCharge+ App. Configure and manage your wall box online from your couch. Benefit

All good for 3 weeks now having connection issues says no connection to Internet in and out until finally it connected. Seems to work better if you don't have the security on and charges and connects without issues .
This is the most convoluted troublesome app ever. Has taken. Me 30 mins to connect and now my box is permenantly trying to connect. Yay
I spent a half day to try charging, but it never started with "waiting for payment" message. It took 3000 huf as deposit so the payment itself was successful. Reinstalled, another 3000 for the same card, added another card, still no luck. Feels like a solution implemented 20 years ago. And no alternative for this charging spot, even for us who would pay the extra for the public charging what costs 3 times as the home....
This app has become the app I use most for charging in Germany. It very reliably activates very reliable stations. That said, it is a bit buggy. it often hangs or reports lack of network, but luckily that usually happens after the signal has been sent to the station to start. Since it doesn't affect the enable function I'll go ahead and rate five stars for now, assuming it'll be corrected. In the areas I've used it, some stations charge 0.39 eu/kwh, some are free.
Works well enough for the most part. Careful if you are close to the limit on your credit card though. The charging started (as in, it said to plug in the cable etc.), but then stopped with "Charging paused" without any further indication about the issue. Also, it apparently then tries to charge your credit card again and again, I ended up with 11x 50€ charges (reservations) on my credit card. Switching to Paypal for the time being fixed it though. But the status/error message should really be improved.
Very unsatisfied. In case of charging failure the app does not notify. Repeatedly complains about billing address even when it is entered. Update: Even poorer experience than before. The app simply refuses to end a charging session even when charging is complete and the cable is disconnected -- it hangs like that for days! Absolutely worst charging app ever!
I can't believe there is no timer function so you can set it to charge overnight. Instead you have to do this manually, however this is not working either now as the box keeps losing connection with the internet.
Zero stars would be better. We had difficulties installing the app and difficulties starting the process. We lost a lot of time and charging station disconnected us somehow after 10minutes. We are not happy customer, will not charge at innogy again and want our money back.
Payment was always the weak point of the app. Stopped working completely recently for all payment options. No response from customer service at all. ----- Charlotte, email forwarded (ticket 00210272). Meanwhile I had another attempt, this one was eventually started but all the data displayed were nonsense.
I don't understand the symbols at the bottom of the screen. The app keeps crashing when I try to scan my eBox's QR code. The eBoxes menu isn't tappable and disappears when working with increased font sizes.
App needs to be restarted several times in order to show charging points properly. Slow reaction and lag in finding available charging spots. For now it's not really usable, sadly System: Android 10
User experience is horrible. Payment doesn't work for 1st time, 2nd time. Uninstall, reinstall helps though. 3000 HUF is taken for every attempt. When charging doesn't start, money is given back in a few minutes. Fine. When it starts, money is only given back in a week(!). I charge for 500 HUF 10 times in 3 days, 30 thousand is kept for a week, 25 for nothing. Big Shame. You call it card payment, but it is a scam. This technology was forgiven 15 yrs ago, not in 2021.
i have tried this app to charge in germany. while the app looks and seems to work, whenbi tried charging it did not work. i was also charged 3 times although didnt manage to charge at all. the app says that i was charged nothing, yet you withdrew 3 times the charging from my bank account. i have sent you an email and i need this sorted ASAP please; not a happy customer!
Doesn't show a single station in or around Vienna. Refresh of station slow and only seems to work when changing the scale of the map. Unusable
Cannot override your Android system language, cannot choose another language manually in the app. Also annoying that you have to enter your credit card data twice. No Google Pay payment method.
Constant dramatic notifications about "disturbance", at least once a week, with no way to turn it off! I would care about it when on the road, but not when chilling at home, get it?
Certainly looks a lot better and visually a lot refreshing than the older version, some newly added functionalities makes the app very user friendly.
Keeps on getting stuck at "waiting for payment", not something I encounter with any other app, regardless of payment method used. Quite disappointing.
Not updating status of charging station properly. Appears it's free but standing in front of the charging station and it's occupied.
Failed scanning a QR code, or even manually entering the station ID. phone is Asus ROG 1. Have only one charger available nearby, wish my luck this app to work this time!
If you worry your life is too relaxed and calm, this is the app for you. You will soon be swearing while standing next to a charging port, trying to make it work. The lovely lady on the helpdesk suggested I try the website instead as they know the app has issues. Avoid.
Got charged 8 euro's, but charging never started. Service number cannot be reached from non-German phone numbers.
Not many useful functions for my eSmart box. I have set up my account privat ebox but when I log in it is not there anylonger.

Avoid it. You can not pay with card. Almost a month in this situation. You can remove it from your phone..is useless.
why does it need 3000huf every time when I want to use it? so annoying... I found a broken station and it forget to refund the money.
Please Note!: Rating only from a Home eBox Connect, didn't use any other features at all! Can't get my box to connect. It says trying to cennect forever... and nothing happens. The Bluetooth connects and WLAN connects, but then nothing happens while it's still trying to connect to something. Very confusing and frustrating. Hope you will improve fast!
