EchoCalc contains all of the BSE normal reference values for transthoracic echocardiography and other widely
used reference values, including those for prosthetic aortic and mitral valves. The information is displayed
in an easy-to-use format, and is supported by clear high quality diagrams and references.
EchoCalc also includes a series of key echocardiography calculators commonly used in clinical practice:
- Body Surface Area (BSA) and Body Mass Index (BMI)
- LV diameter indexed for BSA
- LV diastolic and systolic volumes indexed for BSA
- LV mass indexed for BSA, Relative wall thickness and geometry
- E/Em for estimation of PCWP and diastolic function
- LV & RV systolic function by dP/dt and MPI
- LV diastolic function assessment
- LA volume
- Dobutamine Stress Echo infusion rates and target heart rate
- Risk of significant CAD calculator
- Aortic regurgitation: regurgitant volume, regurgitant fraction and EROA by volumetric analysis
- Aortic regurgitation: regurgitant volume and EROA by PISA
- Aortic stenosis: aortic valve area by continuity equation and velocity ratio, calculation of Zva
- Mitral regurgitation: regurgitant volume, regurgitant fraction and EROA by volumetric analysis

- Information guides to echo measurements for each chapter that will be updated in line with BSE educational
material. This information data is stored on your SD card (if available) rather than precious internal memory
and can be updated with a small download at any time.

Experience was nice and it was very user friendly with calculator.however we have limited its usage with the updated version which does not provide the calculation facility.. kindly can we get the old version???
Don't like that the update removes the calculator. Makes it not as easy and convenient to use. Would like it restored.
I have been using this app for more than 5 years. For some reason after updating i can no longer calculate LV MASS plugging in LVMI and RWT
It is not compatible with Android 10, please update! Great app otherwise but lost all access to it. Update: new updates version works very well, with reference intervals from BSE, EACVI and ASE! Very helpful! Thank you!!!
it was a great app actually.. i used the calculator function alot. but why did the calculator function removed in the new version?
The best echo app. Alas, with the last update they had to remove some useful calcs.
Very nice and useful app, but now heavily outdated - ladt update was in 2014... Doesnt reflect the changes contained in guidelines and position statements of recent years, fir example - ASE / EACVI statement on chambet quantification 2015 thay defines new normal ranges for LVEF and LA volume/BSE.
Very nice I use it 4 years ago. When im resident of cardiology. Now im cardiologist and this new version is fantastic. Thanks for this app. So nice for daily practice like in calculate AVA and other.
was useful due to the calculator, now its useless. They should rename it from echocalc to echoRef....
removing calculation functionality makes the app name meaningless
been using this app for years but the calculator is gone now, time to uninstall
What is the matter? BSA calculator disappeared after update and all valvular and other calculators ?! My Android 6. Huwaei Mate 7.

Where is the calculation?
Was great but new update removed all calculations. That was horrible since several machines I work with do not have formula installed. Please the feature back or allow us to use the old version.

This echo app is great! I'm very grateful someone has taken tbe time and expense to create this app with no charge. Works great! I must say though it works better on my iphone then it does on this samsung, my workphone.
Just what Android using Echocardiographers have been waiting for! All essential info for writing echo reports is here on my phone now.
I hav been facing problem when not online it keeps asking to download web pages regularly though I did number of times. How to the rectify it so that I can follow it offline too. Edited for very poor response in rectification
The app is great. However, very frequently disappears with part of the content and exhibits error messages requesting for updates which are not available. This is the second time I have to uninstall the app and then reinstall it for this reason.

Echocalc doesn't calc anymore! I understand the reasons, but I'd rather they'd taken the reference values out and left the calculator function in. It's rendered the app completely useless. Such a shame because the new version was fantastic and such a massive improvement from the old version.
