The only app of its type -- especially amazing that does what it does (allows you to make and hear GPS-aware geolocative audio experiences) and doesn't cost anything! Developed by a small team that is always responsive to bug reports. Great work, Josh, can't wait to see what you come up with next!
No. First whenever I choose search, or tap in the search box, the keyboard flashes up then vanishes. So no search. So I hit back, back. Nothing happens. OK, it's one of *those* apps. And hey! London is not "near" me, it's 500 miles away. Nice idea, poor implementation. (note: I already allowed all permissions, including GPS)
Fascinating concept. Feels quite beta at present- the "near me" section doesn't produce events even in the same hemisphere. The map view is good, but once i go into an event, the back button fails so i have to restart. But looking forward to trying a walk!
Too device specific. This version (5/9/19) crashes on Experia during the skipable intro screens. The previous one only did that when playing a 'walk'. Will email with a number of other suggestions as usability and control (I borrowed a device) is a major issue!
After first having problems with the app crashing all the time on one of my walks it now works amazing! The problem was that I used the beta editor. After using the original it worked perfectly!
Now the download issue fixed going to give a 5 star rating. Been using this to share and navigate trail runs while in lock down and not able to go out as a club, and for that alone it's been a sanity saver.
Nice idea but very limited content. Giving 5 stars so people download it more. I'll come back in 3 years but at the moment only London, Liverpool and Manchester are really covered. I'll explore contributing later on my desktop.
I use this app as part of my work as a public humanities program officer. It's versatile and fun! The Echoes team has been great about supporting my efforts. Feedback from participants has been positive, no problems installing and using.
Thought I would be able to play the different experiences, but sadly I am outside of any of the areas. So I cannot stream anything. However the developer responded at once and suggested I could contribute, so I'm sure it will be good when there is connect from our area.
Nice idea but unbelievably buggy. I am unable to play or download a walk properly. I have a Samsung s10 so not an old phone either. Hoping for a refund on the walk I've bought
We have used this app to create a GPS audio tour, and have been particularly impressed with the user interface and also the ease of editing and creating content online.
This is so cool. One week in, and I've already got immersive history tour stops ready to go.
Good experiences with the app and the development team. Excited about new features being planned!

I couldn't even get to use the app before being harassed to rate it
The app doesn't allow me to log in after creating a test map on the desktop. It either crashes or shows a circle. I am logged out on desktop and obviously using the same log in details in the app.
Sadly, something loaded on this app exactly once and it was a menu screen which took me no further. Lovely concept though.
No sound and says phone is not in zone, while map clearly shows GPS tag is within zone. Controls in notifications do not work at all. Impossible to exit application with back key, had to force kill it.
