I only wantbto use it to scribe! But the microphone shows up when it wants. For anything else its useless. urghhhhhh
Not user friendly. Difficult to search a patient. You have to scroll through each month of the year starting with the present until you reach the patient's year of birth. Can not resend a message back to the sender unless they are apart of your favorite. These are just a few limitations of this app. The pros is the ability to take pictures of wounds or lesions and send it directly to the visit note.
Horrendously garbage software. I doubt this was even beta tested. Slower to use than my 15 year old iMac that is sitting in a closet. You can't even sort lists of patients by alphabetical order?!!?
Have had issues in accessing visit summaries in mobile app. Instead of seeing the summary, it states: issues with visit summary. Extremely aggravating and a waste of time. Have unistalled and installed app on phone more times than I wish to remember. It does not work, no matter how many unistall and reinstalls. If the app exists, it should be totally functional. eClinical should have already fixed the healow app.
Can't load anything other than schedules. Also extremely slow
Limited use and functionality. Granted the full app is also terrible.
The app should have basically all the same functionality as the main program does and it lacks so many significant features it's ridiculous. There is no reason I shouldn't be able to send narcotics through this app. It should have access to every one of the jelly beans that is available on the regular app. Unfortunately as with most stuff with ECW it is some haphazard attempt that is really poorly executed
From bad to worse. Can look up demographics, notes, lab & imaging reports. Not much else.
As a clinician that has been utilizing this app since 2016 this application has been amazing. It's free, which from this vendor might surprise some, but yes no extra cost. Then there is the Scribe feature on here which does not cost me another Dragon license and it is all integrated, and if you get your IT to just spend some time creating templates. Note done. Switched to telehealth and since using eCW Televisit able to perform one right through the app. Overall, ahead of the game keep it up
Absolute garbage. Constantly needs app permissions removed and reapplied to get the dictation to work and even then it's iffy. Where your dictation goes in the chart is not intuitive at all. One of the worst EMR apps I have ever dealt with.
Terrible app. Slow, takes forever to load, taking pics is difficult to crop (image jumps around), interface is not consistent with elthe desktop version. I would not choose to use it if my organisation was not using eCW and there were any other options.
Took a little getting used to, but I enjoy being able to scribe from my phone and having access to charts on the go when on call. Some crashing issues though.
Anyone else having problems where the camera image import feature is cropping the image inappropriately?
Edit 10/7/21. On screen keyboard doesn't work. App brings new bugs and frustrations constantly. Garbage app that makes my clinical flow in the office worse. Can't resize photos uploaded.
Overall, many important functions. There are some server connectivity issues that are becoming inconvenient and take extra time.
If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. Error riddled, cannot use quotes in the notes, does not always transmit orders, prescriptions, etc. Often crashes and erases data.
Terrible app since the security update. Now I have to log out, clear my cache, then log in to get access to my patient's charts. Annoying when you're out of the office, on call, and have to monkey with this Fred Flintstone era app.
This is the MD version of the app. There seems to be limited functionality. You cannot see the patient's scanned documents. I haven't seen how to send prescriptions when requested from tele encounters. You can check labs including old labs. You can review office visits.
Overall OK, but cannot show blocked times so can't tell availability reliably. And when an eCW rep was out to get feedback on eCW in general and then asked about the mobile app, I pointed this problem out and rather than thanking me for the feedback, he argued with me! He was not interested in learning, just wanted to hear praise.
re: 5.7.0 - Review Updated 12/30/21 - continues to have clunky interface plaguing the eCW platform. Major overhaul needed using standard browser-based protocols. Plenty of robust platforms available with adequate security. Users are NOT consulted and app needs to declare that it is medical purpose for uses and subscribers of eCW ($2500+ annual fees) and not for general usage. Ratings are meaningless unless a person actually has license rights to the system.
Cannot view scanned documents. It's useless if you can't view the entire patient files, specifically documents that are scanned
Cuts off & on. One day I can do back to back dictation the next day I can only dictate one or two. Not sure if it is the app, our cable company, our wifi...or what. Sure is irritating
IT is still having the issue of not letting you pass the 6 digit pass code. What's the point... Cant bill without this app, which remains broken.
Very inconsistent function. Multiple spontaneous issues requiring repetitive calls from technical support. Dissatisfied!
The app is unfortunately even buggier than the desktop app, which is impressive. I can log in about every 3rd try and then you get to hope that the info will load. I can see that a patient has called the office but rarely can open the encounter. Overall not a terribly useful product.
