ecoATM

Curious to know what your phone is worth? What about those phones in the drawer or in a box that are no longer being used?
The ecoATM app provides an ecoEstimate for your current devices value as well as alternate devices value. Manage a list of multiple devices to see their current ecoEstimates. Check your devices against three different selectable grades!

Ready to recycle your device at one of our kiosks nationwide? Use the ecoATM locator feature to find the kiosk closest to you with exact location and store hours included.

Prepare Your Phone feature allows users to prepare their phone for resale at an ecoATM kiosk. This feature writes a file with your phones system configuration which can be read by the kiosk during the electrical inspection to provide you the maximum value for your device at our one of our kiosks.

Please be aware you must be 18 years or older, and have a valid state ID in order to sell a device to an ecoATM.

Worst experience ever. Evaluated phone through app. But every kiosk I go to starts to evaluate phone then says technical issues and reboots and gives phone back. Such a headache.

Your better off selling your phone on craigslist or any other selling apps like that then selling to these people they will give you pretty much nothing for a phone that has been released less than 3 months. I got $30 for a phone I paid nearly $400 for but never used cause it wasn't the one I wanted

I got to mei verify and it locks up it wont copy the mei to clipboard so i contacted ecoATM and was told to try again. It still didnt work. I called again to see if i can get an about price over the phone. Total time to get my $20 offer for LG G8 Thin Q 128 was 26m32s The person answering took 30sec to transfer me to someone that could help me. On hold for over 25min 3 different people offer was $20 Thanks but i will just keep it and throw into a drawer to be found by spacealiens someday GRINS

They offer such small prices it's not even 10% of what was paid example is I paid $125 galaxy a13 but they gave me $7 I just bought this phone 3 weeks ago

It isn't working. I open it and it says error, it isn't you, it is us.

The phone models seem like a random selection. They aren't in any order. Plus the list is very limited. This is useless to me. They need to do a better job with maintaining the lists. I have the latest Android and Google Play. But the developer's response skips the point that the list IN their app is out of date.

Machine took my $1200.00 phone dropped in the bin when I sold it. The Machine did not dispense my $320. Called customer service. Was told they would mail a check. The Was the not the agreement. Customer service was completely inadequate. Transferred to someone else to process check. He was more inadequate and rude. Did not offer to make any kind of apology or even care. Very poor service. Did not even try to offer any incentive for not holding their end of the agreement.

HUGE WASTE OF TIME !!! If it's not a top brand phone or if it's not listed on their app just keep it for yourself. Don't waste gas driving around for a ecoatm you won't receive much anyway

If there was a star for 0 I would put that. You would think with all the money that ecoatm makes they would fixed their own app. This is ridiculous . Everytime I click on more names it takes me back to the beginning , so I erased this app . It's just a waste of space . Fix your sh**. ! Thank you very much

Tried an ecoatm kiosk in person and tried to sell a LG fortune phone. First time the kiosk wouldn't connect to the phone then the second time it only wanted to offer me $10. The phone is a great phone and worth more than that. It's not s high end phone... but for all of the trouble and the phone being flawless I should get more than $10... I can sell it myself. Had it give my alleged "worthless" phone back and walked off. I don't plan on using another one again.

It doesn't pull up old phones in the search, but it does show you where a kiosk is available in your area, and that's pretty awesome. Thank you for this app, so that I could find a place to recycle my old phones.

The app is useless to download if you don't have the standard phones or phone carriers. A waste if time. Uninstalling now. And in the store kiosk, sometimes the most you can get is $10. Wasted my time when it told me to keep verifying my ID. My face had changed some and hair color, and im Guessing it couldnt recognize the similarities in my face. I took the phone and left. Forget this $10 Cricket phone.

Get an extra $5-$10 INSTANTLY when selling a phone, use the promo code: "srhflip" without the quotes. Not bad, honestly, it's a machine that buys old phone, so, don't expect to get rich, but it's nice to be able to get a few dollars back. Especially when your phone is broken, will probably never be back to life and it's fairly new ish. So like my Pixle 1 xl, i got $40, it's not like i was ever going to have that phone work ever again considering that hell it went through.

It's a great app and it tells me exactly what I'm going to get before I get to the machine

Pointless app. You're better off selling your phone person to person, or taking it to a recycler instead of throwing it away. The app gives you a ballpark estimate and everything else brings up a message that says something like this: "visit a kiosk for more info." This app should have accurate details because it is connected to the internet. The only plausible reason I can find is people say "oh well" and give into the kiosk's demands which is terrible business sense.

I got a good price for my phone, but after all the evaluation of my phone, the ATM would not take my driver's license. Kept spitting it back. The whole thing is an interesting concept, but not sure if people are going to be willing to possibly lose their driver's license in one of these machines. Overall, I found it a frustrating experience.

Fantastic! The app is missing one star only for the fact that in my galaxy A20 through boost mobile, when following prompts for prices it mentions about the imei number. Following prompts brings you to a bug. Once in settings for the imei, once you copy to clipboard and hit the back tab it brings you to the previous menu, not the app. Therefore it cannot verify unique ID

When I installed the app and tried getting a price for something it wouldn't let me select the brand of the device it would close the application. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it did the same thing. I just wanted to see if it was worth me even going to the kiosk but I guess it leaves me no choice but too go to a kiosk and see what I can get for the items.

SOM. M. Jul 23, 2019

downloaded the app, pressed where it said "find price for this device", then it bumped to the next screen "other phones" and i thought i could scroll up or down to select the option (yes or no) but the screen wouldn't scroll up when I swiped the screen, so i was never able to see how much my current phone was worth.

Pros: easy to use if you are selling a high dollar phone. Cons: if you're selling a budget phone, save the space on your phone and go to the kiosk. Your budget phone likely won't be listed in the app.

Kel. M. Aug 17, 2019

I could not get an estimate using this app. It would not let me read the full description under other phones. It would not let me choose a kiosk. This app is Useless if it cannot even function right and let the user choose anything. Would NOT recommend this app to Anyone. It wasted my time and there was no point in downloading it because it gave me no information. Looks like I will be doing the whole process at the kiosk near me.

Tim. Y. May 30, 2020

It's alright, the only problem is it doesn't have sertant phone/models, also there's been times when the app Analyses my phone to see what price best fits the phone. The app generates a invaled amount and code. The kiosk doesn't take the code given for the phone I'm selling. So I have to restart all over

Mik. U. Feb 12, 2020

Honestly not a bad app, except for the pricing. Reguardless of used electronics, the pricing does not vary THAT much, even if the device is a year old. A Galaxy S9 Plus shouldnt only be worth $50, considering selling it to another app would give close to 300-450. Not quite highway robbery, but still close enough that the developers/owners of both the app and kiosk should re-look at their pricing again.

Eri. Sep 26, 2019

Trash. It says download to get a quote and it said no go to the kiosk. The kiosk says download the app. Don't waste your time. Update. I do have the latest version etc etc. But I'm trying to sell an old phone that I have, not the one I'm currently using, and it just won't for the life of me give me a quote so. Not worth it.

I have used this thing about 5 times. All but this last one was pretty much not crucial. But this last time, I was absolutely appalled! Less than 2 weeks ago I purchased a phone brand new. Was gifted another phone and figured hay, extra Christmas money. 600.00 spent 2wks ago and first offer 18.00,then I did it again( thinking it was a mistake)...second time was offered $8.00??!! This is my experience, just saying it's not fair...nope!!

I buy other people's phones to fix other peoples phones this actually helps on a price. But thing is I can see a iPhone 6s plus being 50$ for screen is 33$ and battery can get for 14$ but a stylo4 for 30 that's just no also kinda sad that doesn't take sliders or flip phones or phones like Qualcomm those have vaule Also huawie Sony and ZTE and cat would be great to have that in the app as phones that you can see priced in app Understand phones drop in price everyday especially apple the phone may be expensive but there's a Android out there that beats apple everyday and screens play a big role into price like iPhone 7 is 24-56$ to fix your self while the 8 is 34-89 with a glasses back uping value alit more I buy iPhone 6 and 7 for 50 dollars just to use screen and break circuit board in half after repairing someone's elses
