Ecocash Remit
The Ecocash Remit Application is a clean interfaced, safe and secure way to send money across borders from South Africa. This is for both foreign nationals resident in South Africa as well as South African citizens.
You can send money anytime, anywhere as long as you have internet connectivity
We are fully licenced by the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) as a Category 3 ADLA licence holder.
Ecocash Remit allows you to send money from South Africa to Zimbabwe. The money can be received in the following ways:
1. You can register yourself and you can input a list of your intended beneficiaries who are based in Zimbabwe.
2. Deposit into your recipient’s Foreign Currency Account (FCA)
3. Cash pickup at any Econet Outlet, Econet Franchise shop and Steward Bank outlets in Zimbabwe
4. You can create a send money order directly from your cellphone, web application or USSD.
5. You can also pay for your money order using electronic funds transfer or through your bank account.
6. Further, you can also pay at any Pick n Pay, Spar, Engen, Kazang, Smartcall outlet.

They have a very bad service.sometimes when u send money it doesn't deliver to the recipient and when u call them to refund the money back to u, they don't do it.it looks like these guys are fraudsters.just watch out when sending money
Decided to upgrade my review from 1 to 5 after I changed my transaction to pay at a Pick n Pay. All went well. Cheap transfer rates
It's a great service, but the app, not so great. Keep on getting notification to remove the app because it's infected or something. Late updates and so on. Come on guys, work on making this thing great and add more features, even a virtual credit card would be great

i don' know what is happening with your app. It is not registering recipients on my phone. whatever I try to input anything it is not visible when I am keying in information can you rectofy that your app is so disappointing.
I've sent money for three days now, I made and I call you for corrections for the pass three days you have not send me the approval
Easy to use the app but the money takes a long time to arrive there and they don't reply to emails or Twitter. It got there eventually though and paid out in USD
After I installed the update I can't open the app anymore. It keeps on stopping. Please fix this as I urgently need to send money home... I am still waiting for your response or how can I send money
App is not user friendly. It offers no real time online support. Requests for editing or cancellation are either ignored or take too long to be attended to.
The app keeps stopping when you try to add a new recipient causing inconveniences . Please fix this bug......
I am not able to add recipients to my account. App keep on saying approving recipients but no feedback is sent back

Terrible. Every time I try to upload a selfie, the app goes back to homepage.

Sending money has never been this cheap and fast, with great exchange rate. Great app by all standard and would recommend it to everyone to try.
