eCourts Services
• The App provides information related to Cases filed in the Subordinate courts and most of the High Courts in the country.
• One can use this exclusively for District Courts or High Court or both. By default the app is set for District Courts however you can change to High Court or Both. So decide your requirements and configure your settings accordingly.
• eCourts Services App is useful to Citizen, Litigants, Lawyers, Police, Government Agencies and other Institutional Litigants.
• In the App services are given under different caption viz. Search by CNR, Case Status, Cause List,calendar and My Cases.
• CNR is unique number assigned to each case filed in District and Taluka Courts in the Country, through Case Information System. Simply by entering the CNR one can get the current status and details of the case.
• Case Status can be searched by various options like Case Number, Party Name, Filing Number, FIR Number, Advocate Name, Relevant Act of the Case and Case Type.
• All above options are shown in the App with identifiable separate icons under the Case Status tab
• Initial search result of case status is displayed with Case Number and names of parties.
• Once link of case number is clicked current case status and entire history of the case is displayed with expandable view captions.
o Case Details caption shows information of Case Type, Filing Number, Filing Date, Registration Number, Registration Date and CNR Number.
o Case Status Option shows information of First Hearing Date, Next Hearing Date, State of Case, Court Number and Designation of Judge.
o Expandable view captions viz. Petitioner and Advocate, Respondent and Advocate, Acts, History of Case Hearing, Judgment and Order, Transfer Details can be viewed when user clicks any of these expandable captions.
o The “History of Case Hearing” caption shows entire history of the case from first date of hearing to current date of hearing. When we click date of hearing shown in the form of link, it will show business recorded on clicked date.
o Judgment and Order caption shows links of all judgments and orders passed and uploaded in the selected case. Link of the Judgment and order can be clicked to view the same.
o “Add Case” button can be seen while viewing the case history, on the top right corner “. Any case can be saved with the help of Add Case button. Once a case is added, the button changes its appearance and caption to Saved Case.
• In the option named Advocate under Case Status, information can be searched by name of Advocate or his bar Code. Once Bar Code of any advocate registered with system is entered, it generates list of all cases wherein his name is tagged with the case.
• Date Case List is unique cause list option which generates cause list all cases of Advocate listed before all courts in the Complex.
• Litigant or Lawyer can save all cases of interest, which will be shown under My Cases tab. This helps them to create and manage Portfolio of their cases or Personal Case Diary for further use.
• Today’s Cases button shown under My Cases tab provides facility to view only today’s listed cases from all cases saved under My Cases. One can select another date to see the cases listed on selected date.
• When case details are accessed through My Cases, it gives option to “Remove Case”
• Refresh button is given adjacent to Today’s Cases to update the information saved under My Cases.
• If any case is not updated or refreshed because of connection issue, App will show this information as “connection error”.
• Cause List option generates cause list of selected Court.
• Backup facility is provided to take backup of saved cases on mobile Device
o By using Export option backup can be taken in text file format on device
o By using Import option data can be restored in My cases tab.
Facilities like calendar, caveat search, and court complex location on Map.

This app could've been a lot better if they just focused on the main problems rather than changing its UI. Ever since the update, it takes long time to open and then a lot of buffering. Beisde this, most off the times o can't open any case detalis, everytime i try for that, just buffering logo comes up. Fix it as soon as possible.
Haven't seen a more worthless app than this, none of the options work. Even if the backup file is there it says that the file does not exist. When trying to manually search for the case it is unable to pull the case type and when searching by party then also shows no case found. Worthless app as it does not do what it is supposed to do
Updating of District Court cases is not working past several days. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the problem continues. Also, I realised the hard way that the export function needs to be used separately for high court and district courts. Since it is from the main menu i felt that all data is exported, only to find out after reinstallation that high court cases have not been backed up.
It's useful but some times takes so much of time to load and shows error... Please provide link to attach to email or Google drive option for added and saved my cases list .it's very important for every advocate...3 times I lost my added case list in "my cases" due to change of phone and by import export process...I tried to import from the exported file but it doesn't seem anywhere....but it's not working as export option...I could not even recover the earlier saved cases. But lost the present
It used to work fine , but after the last update it has become unresponsive. Upon opening the application the app becomes unresponsive and hangs on loading screen; it seems like the initial query call is taking too long ... Especially during working hours. Case status update is not showing up - it is not updating for some reason. Please fix it...
On few occasions when this app works it is plagued by issues like no online sync & not updated case info. But mostly this app just doesn't work! It doesn't even let the user go forward & shows error. Instead of going for performance improvement for such an important app for litigants & advocates, you guys have gone for visual improvement. Pathetic to say the least.
It is a very useful app but at the same time it lags very much. Many times when I open this app either it will just keep on loading or the entire screen will go blank. If these issues are addressed properly then it will be much better user experience for all of us.
So far the worst experience in this app. It never loads the cause list. App keeps freezing and interface is so poor. If one has to use the chrome for court services then what's the point of using this application. Wastage of time.
There should be an option of sharing/transferring of data from one device to another. I have lost all previous data when i changed my phone. Probably an option to link the app with Google account for back up would be great. Also in the tab namely 'My Cases' the cases listed on a particular day should also have the serial number at which it is listed at a particular court.
This app gives you the case status whenever you want in your mobile. Which is very appreciatiable. But the app doesn't work well on Mi devices. I have Redmi 6a mobile. This app does not work well. Do not load cases. When I choose to search case by FIR no., after selecting state and district, the loader does not turn off. It doesn't let me enter FIR no. If I enter CNR number of the case, the loader does not turn off. If I try to do the same on ecourts website, the same happens there.
Initially I have given 4 star rating to the app. But after downloading the update version 2.0, I have lowered its rating to 2 star. I have found difficulties in opening the case details. Wish, the problems will be solved at the earliest.
This version is a flop, terrible. Please improve it or revert to old version.it doesn't open the link no matter how many times you tap the same , some times it takes 2 hour to full day to connect or open the link . Then I have to check the files on Lap top.
No doubt ! this application is very helpful for each individual and provide best services by saving enough time. According to my point of view,the software should be updated along with the notification feature,so that, everyone would be addressed easier for his personal cases without opening this application. Thank you.
Everything is good but one thing is annoying, if a case has been added wrongly into my cases and if that case is not available then we can not delete it from anywhere. So my suggestion is add a remove/delete button outside(in my cases list) itself so that a case can be removed from outside only. Pls fix it soon. Thanks
Great app, all courts data at one place, user friendly and data updates regularly. But if you get habitual of it, you may get irretated because sometimes it takes time to update data and daily orders are not updated on daily basis and also there are minor bugs in it. Now a days it is not opening any daily order since last 1 week so, at such point of time feel irretated because I got habitual of it. All my saved data disappeared all of a sudden in a night.
Terrible. Very bad experience with this app. Cases won't open regardless of how many times you tap on the link. Lacks clear UX. This app is a nightmare for first time users. I cannot even know the next date of my case because of its unreliability to serve basic functionality. I don't know why they made an app if they cannot ensure basics.
The cases which i have saved are not getting transfered to the next hearing date. For eg. My case was listed on 1st may, 2022 and i saved that particular case. Now, that particular case shows in undated case in the list, but when i open that particular case, then it shows the next date of the case. Kindly fix the issue.
The app is really fantastic. I loved it and would like to thank you all for bringing this wonderful app. But after the last update I'm not able to see the case details coz its not opening. For that I have to go to case status and see the updates. But the earlier version prior to 27/11/18 was very good. I would request you to revert back to that version and include the previous date option in calendar.
I'm an advocate and I extensively use the app! but since the last 2 weeeks, the search option in my cases is not working! This app becomes worthless without a search option. PLEASE CHECK! THIS IS AN EMERGENCY! We at the district courts are heavily reliant on this app as our case diary!
The update is good. but the main concern is that the current case for present day when the matter is adjourned is shifted from today's date to next date and is no more visible in present days list, this is causing some inconvenience. Tried the relevant solutions provided by you on others comments but they are not working. So it will be great if this problem is fixed. Otherwise great update. Also if the problem of app not being able to import and export cases from one device to other is solved would be of great help indeed.
With the current update. Some cases are not visible in the app, however on making specific search with case no or party name one can find. Month wise is also not visible. Dates are not chronologically arranged, but in hapazard manner. Kindly do the needful, on an urgent basis.
Some one has posted if a person swithes over to another phone then he will loose saved cases in the old phone or he has to once again save data in newphone. Mine was the same issue because i have switched over to new phone and thinking of entering case details once again in new phone. However i am able to find an option in the app which provides for exporting saved data to google drive i did soo it took 2 - 3 minutes to export data then i have imported the data in just 2 minutes. Very Good app
Most of the time, it's difficult to retrieve the case details. Always keeps on loading and the search results may vary time to time. Also it fails to bring the status of CA and IA. Try to rectify the issues and add CA and IA in ur drop-down list. Terrible experience with this app.
Newer version spoiled every thing , please make it work or roll back to older version. 1) All my saved Cases are been vanished from the app 2) If you want search a case through CNR number , it is not working it just buffers for 2 sec and that it . 3) if you see case by searching after clicking on that case it just don't respond 4) some courts has not been updated compared to older version How can a newer version creates many issues where old version works like charm.
Complete piece of garbage. Importing of cases is broken since the app was last updated. Also it doesn't open up the case details in am Android 12 device. Had to download previous version which at least worked 50% of the time. I suggest everyone to revert back to previous version.
The idea behind this app is definitely a commendable one but the app itself is infuriating. App frequently crashes or won't load. Most of the time when you try to select the case type or court complex, either it would just keep on showing the 'loading' animation or it just won't show list of case types or court complexes! If these issues are fixed, only then I would be able to say this app is truly helpful.
