eCrew – AIMS Native Mobile app for Apple and Android mobile/tablet devices.

The official e-Crew app from AIMS International Limited, the developer and owner of the AIMS Application, is finally here and it is offered free of charge to all crew from all airlines which are powered by the AIMS Airline software.
With great emphasis on speed, data security, and a brand new interface optimized for mobiles and tablets, the eCrew app will greatly speed up the process by which you will review your crew schedule.
This eCrew app version does not feature the complete functionality of the AIMS eCrew web application, at least for the time being, but it includes the most widely used features. For a complete list of features, please review the list below.
Technical Specifications:
Minimum Android OS version 4.3 up to the latest.
Once downloaded, crew will be requested to enter the necessary details in order to register the device with his/her personal account.

This is an essential app for flight crew whose airline uses AIMS. Too bad it is not particularly reliable and has a clunky interface which looks and feels very outdated. In particular the Google calendar sync feature, which would be an essential tool for families, is wildly unreliable: sync will just stop working at random with no warning, reconnecting doesn't work depending on time of day or moon phase, or works in one moment then stops again the next...
Ugh... What more can I say. Design from the 80s, user un-friendly, and the latest update is just horrible. I don't want to see the rest in between each shift, at least give the option of hiding that. And why is it mandatory to sync with my calendar, this option is enabled on each launch and requests access to my calendar... All the time... Rather annoying overall
This app is interesting. Has an old school design but the main problem is that if you want to sync it with your phone calendar it blocks your calendar and can't use it anymore. Been stuck like this since July 2018. Can't open my calendar, can't use it 😁 Update: nothing has changed so I still can't use my calendar. Has nothing to do with the airline is the app that can't handle the phone.
Nice app for crew roster. I used to to get real time push notifications when there are changes on our roster for my Samsung android phone. But it's no more working now. Please fix this error. And also if I want to find where my colleague is from there staff number or name, there is no option for that. I highly appreciate if you could fix that issue too. Apparently the issues where rosters were not syncing with Google calendar is solved. Unfortunately the user experience l have had so far is awful. Buggy, various faults not syncing. Not downloading duties. Not connecting to WIFI or 4G. I have no confidence at all. If l could award it zero l would. No redeeming features. I would not use this if l had a choice. Update as of this morning the calender sync does not work again
Terrible UI. Crashes way too often and the calendar sync keeps dropping. Using it only because I have no choice.
Its not giving notifications on android when there are changes in schedule. Kindly please fix this. Thank you
The new update is awful. I hate it that ecrew FORCES us to update to the latest version even when we know it'll be terrible. Forces fullscreen for no reason.The latest version now has a horribly buggy export to calendar (misses out events, jumbles up days and shows my flight as starting a day before than scheduled, flight number is completely omitted in the brief version). How ridiculous! These are things we use daily from our calendar. Completely stopped using this app with this update. Rubbish.
The app doesn't even work, it just crashes immediately. Absolute junk. With the use of cell phones you'd think this would be a top priority for them but it obviously isn't. It's not like no one knew Android 11 was being released. From reading the reviews it looks like problems with app have been going on for ages. If zero stars was an option I'd give it.
Buggy application. Tried to sync to my calender and the phone's calender app is no longer working and keeps crashing. What is the point of this app when it does not have any audible notification when there is a duty change?! Would have gave zero stars for this app if possible because it serves zero purpose when all of it's crucial functions does not work!!!
Hi!! I'm using Android 11, Vivo v17. When I try to log in, it always show no internet connection and cannot log in. I try to log in from another device, and it works. Please fix this issue.
Worst app ever! Hangs half the time and not reliable the other half! Doesn't work the same all the time and also not the same on different phones!!!
Really deceiving. 2 out of 3 times, since the past 3 weeks, i cannot log in, it says that i need to verify with my airline that they have the proper set up, but they do. has always worked, and still does once in a while. pretty useless app as it crashes so often.
As of last update no longer provides notifications when a roster change occurs. This is a HUGE problem. I even followed the advice from AIMS on how to fix this, but it still doesn't work. No notifications at all. Just do a rollback, for crying out loud. The previous version was working.
Login issue still not fixed. It's been over a year now. Are you ever going to fix this? It's outstanding how a software company can create such poor software. If it were possible I would give no stars. The login issue is back. It doesn't hold your details anymore. Not to mention the inordinately long time it takes to update when you are logged in. It would be quicker to ring your crewing department. Really dreadful experience.
The latest update keeps saying no internet connection inspite of having one. Takes a decade to load up the page, how do I revert to the previous version
No notifications, only maybe 2 weeks per year, but I have "you have roster chenge" message in the app, even though there is no chenge... Samsung S20
Used this for a long time and now it won't let me log in. Web page works but cannot find how to VX days. The eCrew app is just taking up space at this point.
Loaded with bugs. Export to Google Calendar almost never works properly, it never gets the time and date correctly so it's unusuable. I have 50% chance that I don't get notification on schedule change so that's totally unreliable too. And there are dozens others that just make you not want to use this app ever
It was working fine until last android update I think. For a few weeks now it doesn't even run, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it multiple times, it doesn't fix the issue. Contacted eCrew support by email, as I need this app to work, not even a reply and two weeks have passed already.. Very unsatisfied with it, terrible service!
Incredibly buggy. Always has been. Calender sync function is shocking.
After last update two problems have come 1. The id and passwordis to be fed everytime. Earlierit used to remember and login one click . 2. When there is no data connection, the app does not open. Earlier it used to show the last updated records. Kindly fix these problems. I am operating Galaxy s9+ with updated Android software.
This app requires alot more attention from developers. Newest update is helping certain issues but for how simple this app is it shouldn't struggle this much. It struggles to connect to calendars and even when it does the app consistently deletes information and you are stuck resyncing.
There is no notification of schedule changes on.the phone home screen. There is no widget to put on home screen.
Notifications never work, App crashes frequently while multi tasking and also when using the flight search option, loses login credentials every single time. App gets so un-usable at times that it's easier to call the company's crew control staff to get details. And app completely does not work/ even open on Android 11. SDK for the same was released to the developers back in February, the development team could have atleast tested it once on Android 11 until it officially released.
Several features dont work well on android. Flight schedule doesn't work. Wont export to google calendar and keeps disconnecting. Update 02/2022 Have had to delete and reinstall as wouldn't connect and kept saying invalid credentials when nothing had changed. Still keeps disconnecting from Google Calendar.
