horrible try different app search on here for wi-fi speaker apps and use a different one because the one that southerntelecom is program is horrible . Beautiful speakers horrible software changes channels by itself doesn't always sync speakers properly always delayed shame because the speakers are pretty hard quality and very economical but the software that runs them is kind of garbage Southern Telecom technical support is absolutely disgusting atrociously horrible

Latest update breaks the app/speaker pairing function, as the app fails to recognize the speaker despite both being connected fo the same wifi network.

What kind of Bluetooth speaker needs wifi to work. Garbage, absolutely Garbage. Edit: I would give this app and this speaker 0 stars if it was an option

This is required but not user friendly. Very little support in initial setup

Always got to select Add device in order to get into the app and do the set up all over again... why?

Using this app to control 4 Shaper Image Alexa tower speakers. Like any app there is a learning curve but with some experience it is fairly intuitive. Overall this app has better than basic features, but is missing the ability to fine tune audio with an equalizer setting. The availability of other speakers in the Edge System seem to be non existent. Update 09/15/2018. The app update in July seems to have fine tuned the audio quality coming from the speakers. I have located other speakers in the Edge System which include bookshelf models and echo clones and now have 9 speakers connected in sync for total home audio.

EDIT: The instructions for connecting are edgy at best, pun intended. You need to allow it to stay connected as a network since it doesn't actually have any network connection, it'll auto disconnect for you. The speaker I bought for it is great, the sound is great, and the interface, once figured out is good. Don't lose hope, there are solutions, they may want to make it a bit more clear when setting up.

Never connected. Cost $30 to return 1st one Same with second 2hrs on phone WITH CABLE COMPANY making sure my home internet did work right...still no connection DO NOT BUY. HELP says back in a few days Excuses..not happy at all. Waste of time and money.you have to pay for returm...YIKES. Pat Clatts

Every time I try, the SWF1002 won't connect to my internet It will constantly say that the connection was unsuccessful. It's very annoying. Please help

Needs Apple Music as a music service, and Spotify won't let you play unless you're on premium. 3/5, get Apple Music service and that would make it better.
