The app uses the proximity sensor. The light notification will pop up only when the phone is faced down, like the default function.

It does not work on my note o. Is a option to manually to the edge lighting on. Because it does not work at all
Couldn't get it to work on my S6 edge plus or on my S8 plus. Maybe others will have more luck.

Nice app but doesn't fit the s9+ screen
This app is amazing and certainly picks up the ball Samsung dropped it in this area on the edge. This app fills every need BUT I paid for the pro version and it's not the same. It adds face-up edge lights which is great, but there's a brightness bug. The lite version is bright even if the screen brightness is set low. But the pro version is dim like the screen brightness. I can't see notifications. The only workaround is turn off auto-brightness on the phone and MAX the brightness. Please fix this!!
I hate the limitations of the built in edge lighting, so this is definitely an improvement. But I wish that there were more animations, and that it could work with all notifications. Keep working at it, I may try it again later if it improves, but for now it's a no from me.
You can not have this app onns8plus and enter you password uponnstart up. Or id pay for it
It's works as said on galaxy s8 but the problem is even when full screen is enabled it doesn't cover the entire screen, bottom part is always left out.
You have extremely limited options with free version. Nearly all the things teased are not for the lite version.
It's nice but how do I stop it, it's still going even when I Uninstalled and went to the accessibility section and turned it off

Even with permissions enabled, no edge lighting comes on with notifications... I have the S7Edge..

Finally a decent edge lighting app that works! Unfortunately, knocking off two stars, as it sometimes keeps turning my screen off as soon as I turn it on, & also that it often shows the edge lighting despite there being no notification, especially from the apps I've selected. I also think £2 is too pricey for premium. I'd pay £1.
