Either this type of app is extremely difficult to make or the developers are not competent. With the limited features of this app compared to other similar apps, it is incomprehensible why this app is still full of bugs and inconsistent performance. Seriously, what is with "Pop" mode in the notification shade. It's clearly a bug because pop mode doesn't exist in the app and when selected from the shade, it activates spatial audio mode. This comes and goes with various updates! Seriously!?!
App is good and is getting better with every update. Slight bugs here and there are still present but nothing major. Only thing that bugs me is the equalizer - could it be possible to add more than (only) 4 sliders? Neobuds Pro are advertised as 20Hz-40kHz capable but in app you are limited to 10kHz max (not sound reproduction but control over it, Im well aware of that). I mostly noticed in jazz music with cimbals, you simply need more ´´air´´ above 10kHz. If you advertise the buds as HiRes, then I think you should emphasise on it. If you add this (and possibly faster start up time without those fancy animations) ill give it 5 stars.
Please don't try to sell to us in the app. Add the ability to turn on single tap and long press for my Neobuds Pro. Add the ability to use ANC with just one earbud out of the case, it's essential for sleeping with one head on the pillow. Other than that, it does is job but it could be so much better. Take a look at Soundcore.
It is a shame! However Edifier manufactures top quality earphones and headphones, this app ruins the user experience. I took the time and sent Edifier an email with screenshots, simple suggestions and English translation corrections. They did not listen. I just can't belive that they don't have the time or money or developer to change this app jist a bit and listen to the users. It is a shame Edifier.
A pretty good app overall. Good UI and good functionality. It helps get the most out of the Neobuds Pros. However, it is not perfect and here are my suggestions: - change the equalizer, make it more user friendly. in the current form it is literally unsuable - add a button to the app notification to let us close/hide it when it is not needed, or make it hide when the buds are not connected. it is counterproductive to keep the app running if the earbuds are not connected.
After turning off the Earphones all the settings getting start from the factory setting and appbar notification 🔔 doesn't show that the earphones are connected that's why when wear earphones you have to start application again and again for controlling appbar notification settings. I hope at next updates developers will take this errors serious and handle it. Thanks for your attention.
Never in my life have I encounter an audio app which requires me to give location access to pair with my audio headphones via Bluetooth. Doesn't make any sense at all why an audio pairing app is demanding so much access to my phone function. Uninstalled.
App fixed itself after few hours of installing and I don't think it even updated. O.o Would be a big plus to have adjustable touch controls but at least I solved my media key problems with 3rd party app.
I just got an Edifier X5 L Earbuds and it's no where to be found on the app for customization. Honestly makes me think I've been ripped off. The sound is great but one of the main reasons I got it was to be able to control it from the app. Please can I get a fix for this?
As an owner of the NB2 Pro, I can say that your products are very good, but please let the users use the app without any ads please, it's extremely annoying and the app usually takes too long to detect the device and sometimes even refuse to detect anything at all!!!
Poor. Troublesome connection process. Limited tap settings. Often taps don't register. Why does location need to be on for them to work? Just stupid. App does look good but if it doesn't work it's pointless.
Rubbish! Tried to set up some X6 TWS but the app just displays ads. for other Edifier goods. Also dubious permission requests for a 'popupwindow' permission. Uninstalled within 5 minutes.
I'm using this app with my neobuds pro and it's ok. But neobuds pro has some issues by itself. probably because of firmware restrictions max volume of headphones are not high enough, especially in call. Can you increase max volume on firmware? I got 3 other headphones/headsets and they are much louder than neobuds pro. And please remove that annoying welcome AD.
I have a Galaxy Note 8 on Verizon and there is no way the app will allow me to agree with the terms and conditions. I've uninstalled the app turned the phone on and off... I've done everything. I had my girlfriend try the app on her Note 8 and she's on ATT and it worked fine. I've uninstalled some of my favorite apps just to make sure there was room on my phone which I knew ahead of time there was but no, still cannot get the button to push that says I agree to the terms and conditions.
TWS1 Pro - No app support? It's rather odd to me there is no support to change commands or EQ. At this price point, FIIL does provide great app support for their devices.
Appreciate the app. Gave 5 stars mostly because it works and there is a widget. I'd like EQ settings and other options but the headset is a good value and the app is a bonus
Honestly a solid performance set of earbuds (neobuds pro). Love the options between ldac and lhdc! Noise cancellation is incredible and compares well with other high end earbuds like the xm4 and sennheiser momentum 2's, but for a fraction of the price. Price point is amazing for what you're getting and bass is bumping! The app itself is still very solid despite some reviews I've read. Could not reccomend these buds more.
Working fine hecate gx07 after 5 minutes of use from brand new! right earbud went off line and yes battery is full can't fix or even factory reset most of the option in the app don't work total rubbish product waste of money
Great interactivity and response time. Only is the delay between Bluetooth connection and the app recognising the device.
I cannot find NB2 pro in the app and doesn't see the model connected in the app even if the earbuds are connected to my phone.. Pls help..!! I can use the earbuds. But app doesn't find the model.
Not working Im connected through Bluetooth but in the app it shows nothing.. Even there is no headphone name in the app which im using (W600BT) im totally frustrated with this app
What a horrible application. Doesnt allow me to setup my earbuds, and constantly pushing the stupid shopping catalogue. I just want to use my earbuds.
App could be great if it didn't request location to be on to be able to connect to the buds. Tws nb2 pro is great, but terrible app experience.
Bad app. This is the 3rd time I've made this review because my reviews keep being removed for trying to warn users that the app takes your location data to use the app. Bluetooth doesn't need location data.
Wants gps exact location every time I want to pair. Sketchy. Also advertises other edifier products with a popup. Already bought their $100+ earbuds so it's not appreciated.
After setting up my headphone. Its resett itself to factory setting and its anoying because you need to set up again to bring back the setting that was set up before.
Plz let us customize the double / triple tap options in Edifier nb2 pro... Should be a simple and basic update to fix and provide that useful option...
The new version connects to my wireless earbuds a bit faster than before, my problem is the always on notification, in the new version both the background and text are white, and I cannot see a thing, hope this will be fixed in the next update.
I bought your product that's why I'm using this app. Then why the hell are you showing me the same product I bought as an ad on launch! That's really stupid. Showing an ad in this app is stupid. App's notification control panel sometimes doesn't launch after connection. And there is no way to disable that Apple rip off buds connection over app draw.
First off, I've got the neobuds pro. Best sounding buds I've ever used. However the app and the headphones UI/system - horrid. Full of bugs, inconsistencies, and more. I often have to factory reset the headphones and reinstall the app. They won't connect, only one will connect, one will be super quiet, app won't register it, connected but no sound, etc. Any bug you can think of, this has it!
