Edinburgh Bus Tracker
A real time bus tracker for LRT Lothian buses and trams written by Andrew de Quincey and Colin Paton, using data from the CEC My Bus Tracker website. Please visit http://code.google.com/p/redbus/ for more information.
Notes:
* If something isn't working right and you have the time to spare, could you please send an email as well as commenting. It greatly speeds up fixing things if we can ask for more detail on the problem than Market comments allow (although we do appreciate those too).
* If the app "goes missing" after a recent update, I'm informed that uninstalling+reinstalling it using "Settings>Applications>Manage Applications" should restore it.
* If you have a homescreen icon on an HTC Sense phone, the picture will not be updated until you reboot. However, it should function just as before without a reboot. We can't do anything about this issue as it appears to be an HTC bug.
* We are unable to use the new pre-caching or vector maps support as seen in the most recent Google Maps versions. These features are only available internally within the Google Maps application itself, and Google have made no way to use them from an external application. Therefore, we are stuck with the basic bitmap-based maps with no pre-caching until Google decide to support this. If they ever do, we would definitely want to use it.

The times are so much more accurate than in the Lothian Buses app! Only 4 stars because I can't rename bookmarks when they are too far down the list - the drop-down menu is outside the screen
App shuts down every time I try open the map. Also general complaint about the services, driver on number 16 didn't have part route up on his bus stopped at Newhaven and said last stop 14 minutes for another bus, was almost an other hour in -1° which is shocking service. If I knew it was part route in the first place I would have got another bus home.
I loved this app on my s7 edge could time my bus and also my second bus no bother however it won't work with my new phone so disappointed as I would arrange to meet my friends and sister around the bus tracker. Any chance off an updated version of this tracker soon. Thanks
Useless. doesn't seem to at all work on phone data which COMPLETELY MISSES THE POINT of live "nearby" and buses won't load in map due to that too. Try again guys.
Used to be a fantastic 5* app. I relied on it. Now the map function doesn't work. I can't get bus times at any new bus stop not already bookmarked.
useless now that it doesn't work unless connected to the internet. impossible to check when your bus will arrive whilst at the bus stop, or on the way to the bus stop. completely pointless. the website also doesn't work unless connected to Wi-Fi 👍
I loved this application until my recent discovery. It only allows me to view the timetables when I use my Wi-Fi... (on multiple devices, not just one), please fix it
Good app but you need to know the bus routes. I want to find a specific bus, where it starts etc. but there is no search facility for the bus i want with its timetable.
Map keeps kicking me off the full app..... Its getting deleted now!!! So much for being a multi million pound company.... Can't afford a good app.
I used to use this app every day, but since the last Android update, it does not even open. Please fix this !!!
Cant get the bus tracker as my phone is to up to date, Samsung 10, wont load. Think you need to get with the times.
Doesnt work with android 10, crashes everytime I try to open the app.
Stopped working , crashes and won't open. Shame was my favourite bus app too.
Used to be good but since update its not worked. I miss it for work and kids schedule.
Just had my recent update on Samsung galaxy s10 now I cant even open the app needs the developer to do an update at their end before it will work hence the 1 star
Only works 50% of the time. Also tells you wrong times. It's great when it works though.
Doesn't work on my Samsung galaxy j20e. Worked no bother on my S8. Can this be fixed as it's a very handy app
This app was fine for years. But no it's no compatible with new android 10.

Did not do the only thing it's meant to...find my nearest bus stop with correct times! Total rubbish!
Normally quite good, let me down today, nearly late for work. Said bus was due in 13 minutes, 20 mins later after no bus, still saying due in 13 minutes.
Excellent app for Edinburgh bus times, easy to use.
Good way to see when the bus is coming when the timetable is not as reliable as it should be
Good, but route 41 stops on George st are out of date by about 2 years.

This was awful that's why I rated 1 star because I'm on a map doesn't give me any choice or buttons. When I look for a place it's fine but there's nothing to click when I'm trying to look for a bus time to tell me how long bus is due. I click any where it doesn't come up with anything I been pressing at the top of the map where there's options they don't do anything. Press nearby nothing it's a waste of time
