I liked the older version better. It doesn't pop up over everything as it tones out like it use to. You have to enter the hole address and it's not always accurate. Where before you only needed to enter the address and not city and state and it was accurate. Also if you type in the address and put in a direction it might give you some cray place or not recognize it. Other than those things which are big its ok. It's better than who's responding but not by much anymore.
This is a great back up system to support the departments front line paging system. It also minimizes the need for pagers for all support personnel. i highly recommend this app to all departments. I also recommend the streaming function for your department. The mapping function is a great idea and I use it often.
The old version was way better. The new version does not automatically open and the volume override feature doesn't always work. Wish they would go back to make it automatically open !
Generally works well, but when several tones drop for multiple agencies, it often times out before the entire message is dispatched. Also, due to poor dispatch sound quailty, the app would be so much more useful if it provided a text or alpha-numeric page for each dispatch like the old alpha-numeric pagers did.
Old version was way better. The app no longer opens automatically or give an alert sound automatically. It only gives the same standard alert you would get for a text message. It's much harder to hear when I'm in my noisy shop or just out and about. I wish they would go back to the way it was.
I feel like an option for continuous ring and vibrate would be benefitial for if we don't have our device on our person or if in a loud environment. If you don't hear it on at the first tone, you may miss a call.
This app was wonderful and easy to use prior to the update!!! Hard to access quickly since it no longer opens automatically and takes to many clicks to respond. Old version was much better
I like it, it helps me with my VFD communication but it would be better If y'all updated it to where the app automatically places the emergency directions in the app like a GPS so we can just go instead of looking and going back and listening for the address
Makes dispatching easy and also more reliable than radios I have a pager and edispactes and personally I used to like the pager more do to the delay do to processing but then I got a new pager and half the time it tones and that's it doesn't play the page
Its a fair system we use with our fire department. I'm not sure if there is an option to gps you to a scene immediately but that should be something that needs to be added. Also the widget for the cad alerts never seems to work.
great app sometimes i dont have my radio on me if im in the store so but ill get an alert on my phone so i can go. i think one thing they should try since more and more people are getting android tablet stereos in their vehicle is to maybe do an email notification or some way you can be notified on something like a tablet.
Don't know what happened but I do not get alerts anymore. Just a simple text. And that text is useless. No tone or audio message from my dispatcher. Have not heard anything for a month now. Can't even get into the app because it wants me to create a profile which I do not want to do. Why do I need a profile? What do they need to know about me? Nothing. I am not information that they can sell.
I love the app. Wish they would add a reminder that you're off duty in the notification panel, home screen or lock screen.
Only sends notifications when it wants to. Goes for days without sending any and then I get them for a few days. The "I Am Responding" app works much better!
I get a live stream that I don't want and it won't play the dispatch unless I hold down the button. I can't see where to get rid of or turn off the live stream. If I could do that, it might get 5 stars.
No Wi-Fi service or Internet, renders the app worthless and useless, will not store the data that you get while you have a connection. Very bad feature for an app used for emergency services.
I used to be ale to use edisdatch, but all of a sudden the new update will not let me get to the call log it does not show my county and it won't let me reload the app.
Missed calls and no GPS to scene. I will get a call on my Radio and never get a call from this App. Not safe or trustworthy. Thank God I keep my radio on so I have reliable alerts.
Liked pre update version. Not being able to hit a side button to quiet tones anymore is a real pain.
The app is fine, the customer service however needs some work. For an app that first responders rely on, having the support staff not work weekends is a bad, bad idea.
Great for when I don't have my radio, can't wait until the "go live" function is available so I can communicate with dispatch and other EMS in route or on scene.
Hey I would like to see u make it so we don't need service or WiFi it's hard for me to respond to call because I don't have service or WiFi at home so please make it so we don't need service or wifi so I can use my edispatch without wifi OK thanks I am glad to be using it
Hasn't worked since the update. CAD is no longer accurate. There is no way to manually input the address.
Better before update. Now the app doesn't come to the front, really annoying that you have to search for it to open it.
Is absolutely a life saver. And I mean that wholeheartedly.
I wish it would pin point the address of emergency for better and accurate deployment of units.
When are you going to integrate with pulse point?
The app is great... if you have it in your pocket when it goes off. 4 times I've been on the phone when that GD high pitch beep goes off!!! It hurts my ears and will cause hearing loss! Fix this! It doesn't need to do that when the phone is in use! I've tried to turn it off! What the heck guys!? I want it to beep so I can hear it. But NOT WHEN THE PHONE IS RIGHT BY MY EAR! Oh thank God! I did update the app and really hope that fixed it! I need the volume up... just not when I'm using it.
