This app is amazing. I'm always using the search option for those items that aren't as clear cut as to where they belong in the waste system. You get reminders the day before specifying what will be collected the next day, and what time things need to be out for collection. 100% would recommend, especially with the new cart rollout!

I'll never have to look at the schedule on my fridge again. This app's got it all-- schedule, ...a schedule. It's a schedule. Keep alerts turned on for all your hot garbage news! This is THE garbage app.

This is just so useful, from being able to answer my questions about what to recycle and where it goes, to the handy reminders about pickup days, and upcoming schedule of special pickup days. I like to think it helps me be less wasteful too!

Nice to get reminders, search what goes where, to find special collection days like Christmas trees/yard waste, and to know about events. (big bin) Would be nice to be able to add multiple addresses. I'd like to add my dislike of the actual implementation of the bins in Edmonton, but I guess that has nothing to do with the app 🙄

It's nice reminder. I love it. It will be more useful if the Snow Removal could be added on this app, e.g. when they are going to clean your area so you can remove your vehicles from the streets

Easy weekly reminders, good on time changes to area you live in , tell you what can go out every week or if there is a special pick up for yard waste. Overall good app

Great concept and execution. Need a way to collect user photos to expand list of items. Every item should have photos to make it more clear. Different companies use different packaging for same products. Game is great for kids also.

Overall I love this app, but a BIG miss on the developers part is to not include the plastic number types or the names of the plastics in the what goes where searches. I don't understand why I can't search for #2 plastic or HDPE and have it populate a response, not everything I want to recycle is easily named aside from the marking given in relation to the universal recycling types.

A simple app that you don't actually have to actively use. It sends you a notification as to what day garbage pickup is. Very nice around the holidays when that day can change. Just a very handy reminder and I like it.

Surprised by how useful this app is, but the reminders of what to put out when and the trash lookup is really useful. Would recommend. Only gripe is that I wish startup times, especially when you tap the notification we're a bit faster.

Search any item to know if it can be recycled is soooo good, so grateful for that. Sad that some things aren't (some plastics) but I've learned some surprising things can be composed (paper towels). Schedule I don't need as much but that's good too

Very good app. Very easy to use and understand. Reminder is a good idea as sometimes a person gets days mixed up.. also very good information on the new program. Keeps you up-to-date on anything new.

Shows the date and notifies you of collection as well as which collections it is that week. You can also search up which item goes where, which I find very useful. Lastly, there's is even a cute educational mini game that you can play.

I find the personal schedule is important, also the reminders of events is an excellent tool. It would be wise to develope more detailed lists of what items can and can't be recycled.

Works terrible, once this app was downloaded my phone started bombarding me with pop ups on different apps offering the edmonton waste app to download on google store, news flash....i already have it....so this is quite annoying to say the least. Second issue is after having a missed blue bag pick-up, i tried to notify in app and add a picture ect along with my complaint...worked well right up to the point of send feedback and wala....nothing but a cannot send message. Pretty much a useless app.

The app is pretty good at reminding me when my pickup is due. The recycling part is too vague. It would be useful if the plastic grades, e.g. 4, 6, etc was included.

I like EVERYTHING about the App. My favorite part is being able to search an item to find out where it goes. Since I don't take out the garbage my boys are finding the Reminders useful too! This app should be on everyone in your households phone, if you want you do your part.

I guess you need an app to track this terrible schedule edmonton just implemented & new micromanaging tactic to make everyone's lives more difficult. When only approx 1 bag of trash is collected every 2 wks I guess it's important to have some sort of reminder so you do not miss the day. This app also has the ability to advise to put dog waste unbagged in the food scraps bin. It's almost as if those who work for the city can't relate to the average person. Great use of tax money!

Well designed app. Interface is clean and user friendly. Love the garbage day reminders and that the notification badge is subtle. Also really like the ability to check what products go where!

I'm very happy with this app. Seriously, thanks for each included detail. For example, big bin event info and the ability to ask where select items should be disposed of.

Honestly surprised by how useful this app is! The search function is what I primarily use it for now. Hope to see an update to the user interface some day to make it a bit more modern, but of course not a big deal. Thanks Edmonton.

Very useful. I love how the app reminds me of the garbage pick up day and items that are recyclable. Also, it is a great tool to be on top of the City's new garbage bin guidelines and schedules. I am glad that I got to know and installed this app.

Especially with the roll out of the new cart system, and recycling organics, this app is more timely than ever. What was recyclable yesterday may not be today, and this app conveniently clarifys the latest guidelines. An excellent resource!

This is a very useful app, originally it didn't have the search function available but the developers quickly solved that. The search function has proved both interesting and useful.

I love the app. Even though I think I will remember from week to week I don't so it's great to be able to easily check. And kudos to the city for this waste collection program. I'm totally impressed and love the new system?

This app has been useful to send me reminders about pick up days and information on how to reduce my waste a bit better. This initiative by the City of Edmonton is a great one to support. I havent used the food scraps and bins yet so I will update later on that!

Very handy and helpful for this transition. I like the game built into it too. I think it would benefit from a home screen widget though.

Easy to use. I use the notification option to remind me of when it's time to put out what waste. User interface is clean and not clunky. Good job Dev team and city of edmonton for this app!

I love having direct notifications about changes to the garbage collection process, as well as the built in reminder to take my garbage out. So useful!
