Great details about most every car made, for the USA at least, and lots of pictures for each model. The app is easy to navigate, and I have no technical issues using it. It is the only car app I use for researching vehicles. It is a well polished app, and updated regularly to include the latest models. Well done!
I've been an app user from the VERY BEGINNING and I really dislike some of the changes since then. Not a fan of all those 1-10 subjective (and cluttered) vehicle ratings for each car. INCONSISTENT WRITING: The "What's New for this Year" section is missing for MANY of the 2019 car reviews. It's important to know specific changes to a car from year-to-year, if it's an LCI/refresh year, etc.. And HATE the new vehicle selector from the last update. Takes up the entire screen = LONGER to select a car.
Useful app to research cars and shop for them. Some issues I've noticed are that the nearby inventories are not always accurate, but this could be the specific dealer and Edmunds. I also would like the ability to compare cars, not just research them. Overall, this is a useful app that will help you when looking for a new or new to you car. Just make sure to check dealers' own websites for inventories.
I just started car shopping and this is such a great app to do all of my research!! Edited review: I ended up buying a great car with one of the highest ratings in several areas: safety, warranty, etc. This really helped me pick the car that was a perfect choice for my budget, lifestyle and personal preferences. Sometimes when looking for the color or the color of the interior to match its not always put in their correctly or accurate sometimes not at all.. I would like to add that Edmonds used to give more Facts on individual cars such as the with the length the height the size of the tires things like that that are no longer on the app for each vehicle. When comparing vehicles that was one of the things I looked at and now I can't.
All is well except after you bring up a search list and say your halfway down the list and click to view a listing its great except when you go back to the main list you are back at the top of the list again ...it goes back everytime after you look at a specific vehicle ...so this turns into a hassle because it doesnt just go back to the same spot where you were already at...
This app was the best thing about buying a car. I was able to research all makes n models with ease, keep the ones I liked, and even email the dealer. I wish the car buying process was this easy!! No ads, no crashes, 💕 all the way around. Thank you Edmunds!
Probably the best vehicle research apps available. The research is very detailed. The insights on used cars is good. The interface of the app is so so, as in the way they list the vehicles, especially on the dashboard page.
Great App! Easy to use. Easy to navigate and get information and values. My only suggestion for the programmers/developers is to add other aftermarket features and values (like a backup camera or an alarm system that older cars that wouldn't normally have had such features).
it has improved a lot over the past year. previously, you can get only 1 photo of the car. Now there are several. still no way to make comparisons with other vehicles like you can get with apple iOS. keep improving cause it's a great app
Shows me everything i want to see. But after you scroll for a minute, it will show the same 30-40 cars about 5 times before it shows you the other options. It throws you in a loop. Hope this can be fixed
By far this is the best app for looking for a car I have used they are the only one that allows me to search for a specific feature. I won't mention it specifically so there competition does not use it. But I would give this app 10 stars if possible!
Two things I wish I could do on this app; 1) be able to search "any vehicle" instead of being required to pick a "body style" or "make&model". I just want search by price and year, I don't care about make model or body style; 2) appraise a vehicles value. You can do this on the website but not the app, why not?
Not user friendly. The price and mileage filters take a long time to scroll through. When choosing the model it doesn't have the correct options and many are duplicated.
Easy-to-use for researching old reviews and searching for cars for sale. Not sure how the pull data on sales, but it's a good selection. The reviews are where the money's at. This is easy to search through.
Loaded app and lost all my input. Still don't know the value of my car. Forget it!
What kind of car search doesn't let you search or filter by mileage? One of the most popular things people search by when shopping used. No keyword search nor engine displacement options either. Why not have a search that allows the things that people actually consider? Instead I have to look through a few thousand listings. Na, too many other apps available out there that are more useful.
Great resource for information on used cars; probably the best out there right now. Only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that the cars advertised in the app are never close to the price they quote in the reviews Also, it may just be me but I don't seem to get much love from the dealers selling the advertised auto's.
No dark mode, no seperate trim photos, no compare feature, and I find IOS version more useful. Other than that this app is great to just know more about cars!
Would love to like it, but there's ZERO way to look at classic cars , I don't want to buy any new cars ,there always priced higher than what they cost to manufacture and they lose half there value right off the lot. I want a app that allows me to look up classic muscle cars like the 68 camaro ss, not a search for them plastic jugs with 4 wheels and a Camaro SS emblem stuck on the grill ,that's not a car ,that's a travesty what they sell nowdays.
I don't want to search by make and model. I need an app that let's me search by specs. Also, the Dashboard doesn't provide enough info to help with navigating app features.
Very limited and confusing search criteria
Wow, this app just totally streamlined my car buying process. The integrated research tab is exactly what I needed - and is the main reason I go to Edmunds. Even better that it integrates with local listings!
This app used to be great, but they changed the interface to concentrate on local dealer inventory and moved the awesome car reviews into the background. I find the app much less valuable.
excellent app. im a car fanatic. This app allows me to research every aspect of the vehicles i search for. Between Edmunds app and YouTube these apps are essential for vehicle research. Thabk you so very much.
Good app for looking up specs and features of basically any car with many of them having a review by Edmund's. Also makes it pretty easy to find nearby cars for sale.
Terrible app. Doesn't show full amount of cars for sale at all. App resulted in 500 fewer listings versus the full website for the exact same search of a specific make and model.
Very useful app, but it is an absolute pain to clock on a car from 100 cars down the list, go back to the list and be transported to the very top of the page. When you're 6 hours deep into car research that just becomes a nightmare. Also, the cars I save on the app do not transfer to my account on the site, creating a situation where I have to reference my phone and then my computer and then back to my phone again. This could definitely be improved.
