Updated review after 2 years of use with solar panels by EDP. The App is easy to use, stable and full of useful information and features. Unfortunately the data it provides on overall power consumption is complete nonsense. Actual power usage and bills are always much more. EDP have reconfigured the installation twice and consider that it is working as expected. If the figures it provides were true I'd be very happy because my bills would be much lower than they are. In short the App is flawed.
The app doesn't work. Sometimes it shows all energy produced going to the grid, sometimes no energy consumed in the house, it rarely shows energy produced and consumed by the house. EDP technicians came twice to my house, changed the component that measures the energy, but said the app is buggy, and I should contact support at EDP. There is no support for that. I call EDP for support, they always say someone will call back, which never happens. It's just not functional.
Absolutely terrible app. Shows my energy is not registered and when I called EDP they say its normal but how can that be. Just shows I am still consuming energy from the grid and all my production is going to the grid and none is shown as being autoconsumed. As its not registered I am guessing my production is just going to the grid and that's it. So I paid for a system for EDP to get free electricity. Fix it. What a terrible experience overall.
I have newly installed EDP solar panels and was left with no instructions whatsoever. I have contacted EDP on three occasions and they have no called me as promised. I have tried to open this app but it says error occurred every time so am at a loss as to what to do next!!
Crash, takes long time to connect and some times doesn't even does On PC it works fine.
After my last complaint, EDP actually called me and confirmed that the system doesn't work properly with 3phase installations.Further I have noticed that when the panels produce more than 1 kW all energy above is fead to EDPgrid and they feed what is consumed above 1kW from their grid, and charging for if! That is like steeling! The app itself is working good and gives a good feedback of your power consumption.

Unfortunately this app is not very useful. We have to restart it various times before the energy consumption and generation data refreshes and it does not store any data for the day, month or year to track usage patterns. There should also be a more comprehensive tutorial online or built into the app to guide new users as it is not very intuitive and the video tutorials serve more for marketing the product. At the moment there does not seem to be much benefit to installing a Re:dy system.
