Edpuzzle

It only ever worked one time since I installed it. It's just gotten progressively worse from there and loads less and less everytime. My assigned videos would never load if they even showed up to begin with. Now it's lucky if the app even opens, 99% of the time it's just a black screen then the app crashes. The app is completely useless.

The edpuzzle app is actually the worst. Make the website work on mobile or fix the stupid thing. It almost never opens and when it does it crashes repeatedly and makes you have to rewatch portions of the video. The number of missing assignments I have just because this thing won't work is unacceptable. Do better.

The first red flag was when the mobile website forced me to download the app. The next one was in crashing randomly through an assignment and then crashing 5 times after, almost as if the app doesn't want me to finish the assignment. Bottom line is it won't take you through the assignment and the only thing you'll get from trying on mobile is frustration.

Complete and utter garbage this is the worst app I have ever downloaded. Recently they patched a bug that was the only thing that made this app bearable. The feature used to prevent you from skipping forward often resets when the app is reloaded and sends you back to the beginning all the time. What makes me sad is that this is such a good concept that is executed horribly.

Terrible app & website. I'm forced to go to the app because Google defaults to my info, even though I have several users, so I can't login to the website. I was glad there was an app until it only worked 1 time. I had to uninstall & reinstall to get it to work again. What I do like is that the video plays in the background while I could use other apps & I can take screenshots. That's great cause some teachers want notes & I didn't have to restart. When works, it's great.

Thanks for making me download an app just so I can do Edpuzzles and wasting space on my phone, instead of making the website compatible with mobile. Not to mention, the app literally doesn't work I tap it an nothing happens I tap it again I get a white screen. I've never seen an app that just doesn't work, until now

This is the first time I'm making a review since it's interrupted my class time so much. This app is garbage. Scrolling a little bit kills the entire app. When you relaunch the app, it removes questions that you just submitted, wasting your life. Also, some time ago there were visual glitches that were happening with the app for me. I don't know if it's for everyone but I couldn't even watch any videos when that happened. It's also seriously laggy when it does work.

Crashes when it gets to the final portion of the video and like many other reviews, it starts over, and erases progress. Mind you, the videos are locked so you can't fast forward to where you left off. Forced to waste 15 to 20 minutes for ONE video, having better things to do but can't. Fix the issues already. It's not a localized issue. 2.0 rating well deserved.

I've only had this app for less than an hour and it's clear it is significantly worse than the desktop version. Constant crashes resetting progress, no easy to use rewind button (only one that resets you back to the beginning of the section), clunky sign-in controls, etc. As it stands right not, do not use this app unless you absolutely have to. You'd better off using edpuzzle in your phone's internet browser.

This app is just broken. There isent subtitles which is only my first issue. The mobile app is very buggy. The app crashes for me all of the time and it talked a while to load. Also the point that you can skip ahead in any video is really annoying especially when the app crashes and takes you back. Some times it gets so bad that you can even watch the video. 0/5 please fix your app

Stupid! It has to make me download it just to watch a fricking video! Dumb! Waste of storage and waste of time. Do not download it trashy! I hate this app. The result button does not work just like the developer's brain while making this app. Everytime I answer one single question it lags just to correct it for two whole seconds. It is as slow as a comuter in the past! Are you serious. Am I back to the 1970s? Pls do not download it. Developers please change it, it is too trash to be an good app

This app kept constantly crashing on me every like 2 minutes. I couldn't scroll down without it crashing on me and I had to constantly re watch the same clips because the video was locked so I couldn't get back to where I was. It is not worth the amount of frustration you will feel.

I wanna start off by saying the app works perfectly. I haven't run into any crashes or bugs at all. The app works, but it works terribly. The controls are confusing to figure out in my phone. I can't get it in full screen, and can't see anything. It pauses randomly an doesn't show a question without me physically pulling it up. It took me almost 20 minutes to do a 10 minute assignment before quitting and doing it on the web version. Don't waste your time unless you want to get frustrated.

I downloaded this app in order to do the edpuzzles for one of my classes, instead of having to sign onto my computer to do them everytime. However, whenever I try to do one of the edpuzzles, the video does not load. After I click on the assignment I want to do, it brings to to the screen that the video is supposed to play at, with the things under it indicating at what time all the questions are. The video itself never shows up, in it's place is just a black rectangle.

The videos on this app don't have the answers to the questions that it asks you later on in the video, which makes the video explaining the topic almost useless. The app blocks you from skipping ahead of videos if you haven't watched it to that part yet but it sometimes glitches and won't let you go to a part of the video that you've already watched which I learned the hard way after going back to the beginning of a 6 minute video. The app also bypasses screen rotation lock which is annoying.

This app is really really bad. Even if we complete the assignments, it doesn't shift it to the completed category permanently. What happened with me was in the day I had completed the work it showed me that the work was completed with all the marks given as well. But it never sent the work to my teacher and moreover even shifted my work from completed to due. Really the worst experience ever. Please make some improvements. This is NOT convenient at all. So disappointing 😠

I would give this negative stars if I could. EdPuzzle is awful and I would rather eat sandpaper than be forced to watch another one. EdPuzzle is a method for lazy teachers to easily pass time without having to put in any effort. It is horrible for retaining information and it is the least time efficient way of studying imaginable. It takes all of the bad elements of studying online and condenses it into one unfriendly UI to create the worst possible learning experience. It's absolutely horrific.

I use this app for my online classes so I guess that's why I gave it 2 stars. Other than that, it's not really the BEST app. Sometimes it randomly restarts the page and getting back to the place I was at in the video is really frustrating. It makes me tap continue on every question I already answered and says "ERROR" and stuff every time I try to go back to my spot in the video. Because of this, I'm forced to start the video from the beginning even if I was already at the end before the refresh

As for the app, I've installed Edpuzzle before and it kept crashing all of the sudden. The only way I've managed to fix the issue was to Uninstall the app and reinstall. All my progress and classes were saved along with my school account. TL;DR: To fix crashing: Uninstall and then reinstall the app. For me, all classes and progress were saved.

Typically, I wouldn't leave a review on an app. This abomination, however, gets an exception. I want to find whoever wanted to force edpuzzle access onto this app and crucify them. I've used edpuzzle on a chromebook before, and it wasn't perfect, but it was alright. Then, I see that I have an assignment on edpuzzle, accessed through canvas. So, I click on the external access, and bam. I can't, unless I get an account, code, and everything else. I need this video to do my math homework, and yeah.

This app is dysfunction at best and downright broken at worst. Is this even acceptable as an educational tool? The app crashes more than it opens, if it wasn't for the loading icon I would think it was frozen. Lessons are inconsistent and kick me out randomly, occasionally forcing me to restart the entire lesson from scratch. Just use the web client

This is literally the worst app I've ever had to use. Completely useless. Video pauses every minutes or so and takes a full minute to start playing again so it can literally take me an entire day to watch one video. You cannot skip forward in a video, and selecting fullscreen loses all your progress in the current video. Also you are forced to use the app if using android because the mobile site is incompatible. Absolute and total garbage.

This app hasn't worked in MONTHS. Something very unfortunate when it's an app my teachers use for graded assignments. Thank you for the many missing assignments, and by that I mean thank you for nothing.

I am convinced half of these reviewers are middle schoolers who are simply upset that they have any sort of work. The app itself is fine. If you need to re-continue a video at a later time, you can simply click on the marker for the question you were last on. It's an easy, clean interface and it's extremely helpful in the fact you can rewatch segments to answer questions, and the fact you can answer questions as you go is spectacular on its own. I do not understand the hate. This is a good app.

This app is an absolute joke. It crashes immediately after answering and resets progress in videos, doesn't keep you logged in, forgets what classes you're in, and combining these with a 15 minute video creates an cumbersome and monotonous hour-long bore mixed with plenty of beating my phone and ripping out hair. Fix this app, and teachers; please stop using this service.

Terrible. I only have this app because I need it for my grades. Crashes randomly and constantly. Has terrible layout. Often it doesn't record/deletes my answers and I've had problems where my assignments don't submit at all. If you have the option just use the browser.
