Edward Jones - Mobile

Won't let you link your bank account despite there being an option, just gives you a generic error with no fix, as well as not being able to attach documents to send. You click upload document and nothing works

Edward Jones told me my app needed upgrading. But in order to do so I need to make room in my memory for it. They want me to remove a bunch of other apps that I use everyday. I'm not going to do it.

The new update has some improvements, but clearly it was pushed out the door before it was ready. Creating and editing goals doesn't work. A message is presented indicating you'll be able to do this in the future…this message has been displayed for a long time now. Frustrating. I did link my bank account but that functionality has since broken and so far, support staff have been unable to resolve the issue. This app has not lived up to my expectations. Another shortcoming…I need to be able to report across multiple accounts and sadly, I must go to my broker for that level of information.

I like the app. but I sure wish they would fix the log in button. you put your credentials in but the button doesn't register that you are trying to hit it. before one of the updates you could hit the menu button on the top left then exit and momentarily click the button and it would work. but they 'fixed' that glitch. edit: still been like a year and they haven't fix the login glitch. can't login to the app.

Multiple features don't work. It does allow me to see my current investments, but viewing goals, editing the value of other investment, etc. just gives the never ending spinning circle. I also get "A system error has occurred. There is temporary issue accessing your information." The temporary issue has been occurring for weeks since I installed the app.

The new app makes it easier to see more granular info about my accounts, but the app less useful because I can't see the most crucial info first - how much do I have in total and how are my investments doing. The first is still there, but it's at the bottom of the screen. Please put it back at the top in its own box. It's the singularly most relevant piece of investment info. The second is gone entirely. There is no total performance chart anymore! Isn't this what every client wants to know?

I was advised by my partner and FA to use the app. When it works, I have access. Lately the problem is it refuses to let me logon. My id is auto saved and I have to manually type in my password. After that, nothing. The "sign in" button doesn't recognize my tapping, in other words, i can't logon. I have to constantly contact my FA to send me documents though email or i have to go their site. This app needs a serious overhaul.

Go back to the old version of the app. Too much scrolling and clicking, and you can't easily look across all the stocks in your portfolio like you once could. I don't have hours to waste clicking on each stock to see it's performance. An absolutely terribly designed app.

Unable to login via app, but able to login via web; most certainly same credentials.

This is the worst app hard to get in to and hard to get to what I want to see it,s got me locked out now.

Repeatedly fails to log in with my fingerprint because it says my login details are invalid. Until it works after like 12 tries. And the transfer option just loads endlessly

Can't log in with fingerprint or password. Says invalid credentials. I'm going to uninstall and reinstall it. We'll see!

Very disappointed with the latest app version. I wish I could go back to the old version before they cluttered it up with irrelevant information and took away the ability to see my performance year by year. There isn't 1 thing that I like better with this version than I did with the last one. I hope they fix this soon.

There's no easy feedback tool in the app. The ability to paste is disabled on the connect accounts page when entering credentials. I use a password manager and it has a randomized password that would be very difficult to type manually. I copied from within the password manager, but the option to paste is not available in the Edward Jones app.

In the app I honestly can't tell what I am invested in or which stocks/funds are performing well or my rate of return. The app is so primitive it's useless.

App is of very poor quality and leaned toward making E Jones look much better than they actually are

App literally does not function when it used to with my old phone. My new phone with a fresh install crashes when attempting to use TouchID. I am a computer technician so I know what I am doing, the app literally just is not programmed properly. I assume more modern touch sensors just haven't been implemented properly yet.

The app has a few bugs and doesn't operate well with the auto fill feature.

Update: Contacted Edward Jones support staff. After 30 minutes on the phone, the tech finally admitted the problem on their end and I would have a resolution within 24 hours. It's two weeks later and I still have not been contacted. Previous:A few days ago mobile app stopped working. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I can only use my computer to access my account. This mobile app is now useless after using for over a year. Let me know when you get it fixed and I might reinstall.

Not a user friendly app since the most recent changes. Difficult to intuitively get to the full site. On the app you can't scroll from left to right across the catagories and go down to the next stock below without the app taking you back to the first stock. Really not ready for prime time.

Old app worked fine. The account activity screens are more difficult to get to, and they are harder to read and navigate through. And... Now I have to go into Google Play Store every time I want to open the app. UPDATE - I was finally able to get the app on my home screen, but the app still isn't as user-friendly as it used to be.

Straight ahead wrapper for the EJ website. At first impression it really doesn't offer anything more than you would get if you logged on with a mobile web browser and so not that compelling an offering. If you want your EJ access to be a dedicated app then use it. If your browser is delivering what you need then move on. Convenient that it has fingerprint verification.

The old app worked great but new one will not work with a rooted phone, without modification. Edward Jones, if you're depending on security from the client, you're doing it wrong! Secure your backend systems! The most humorous part is while apps like fidelity and capital one for example work fine with root, and allow me to trade stocks, etc. this app does nothing anyway except show a webpage! I have to call my advisor for any changes. So WHY is this app like this??

Should be able to see each stock charts when viewing your stock performance without going to market performance screen.

I love everything about EJ, including the app.

Balances only. It doesn't remember my device and therefore requires a code from a text that I don't always have access to because I work in a basement with no signal. So utterly frustrating that I know my password and login information but they refuse to let me login without getting a verification that its me from my phone, that I'm using to login with. Ridiculous!
