Born in Singapore, during the year 1987, April 2nd. Graduated from SIM RMIT with a bachelor’s in Marketing. Musical influences from Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz and Adam Levine.

“When singer-songwriter Edmund Lee boldly started taking pre-orders for his debut single ‘Just a Picture’, I knew that there was something special about this young performer. Given his sheer passion for composing and singing, as well as his upfront sales and marketing technique, you would think that this would be accompanied by a strong out-going personality. This was not always the case however, as Edmund puts it: “I wasn’t good at expressing my feelings and usually ended up exchanging love letters with my past crushes instead.”
Currently performing regularly at SHUFFLE bistro bar and HOOD Bar and Cafe, Edmund continues to express his emotions through songs, while taking on the bitter sweet experiences of his love life. Falling within the acoustic, pop/rock genre, ‘Just a Picture’ is Edmund’s most straight-forward way of saying that ‘a picture of you is all I need’. The song’s simple chord structure and melodious yet singable chorus will inspire even the most gloomy individual.
Edmund has performed at events such as NEA EcoMusic Challenge and NLB Songwriting competition. His flare for performing live is rivalled only by his passion for writing catchy, melodious and genuine songs. When I asked about what he feels is the most challenging aspect of songwriting, Edmund replied “… to stay true to myself.”
