Eenadu News - Official App

I love the new UI but the number of times it crashes in a single session is like out of the world. I never experienced any app that crashes this many times. It's been 2 months since some one already complained about it but till now update. Can't even read 2 news columns continuously. Very bad experience.

It is crashing very very often since the latest release. I didn't notice any pattern to these crashes, it crashed while I was on the home page, when I clicked on a news article and also crashed while reading a news article - I have just reinstalled the app and still crashed. Not sure if it's any relevant but I use the app in dark mode

I was not sure why the previous app was replaced with the new one but this app crashes every time I open; I need to close and reopen after reading 2/3 articles. My interest in reading Eenadu is two fold: I have been reading the newspaper since 1986 and I love telugu. Being in the US, this app used to be my go to place to read some telugu news but not anymore. It is a frustration to open it now. It is quite a disappointment from Ushodaya!! Thumbs down.

Dear eenadu app architect and dev team, the latest architecture is very poor. First the design itself is not user friendly. When we open an article and reading it seriously, all of a sudden the page gets auto refreshed. Also, the page will be died by showing loading icon forever. I would suggest to restore previous version of the app and test the latest version end to end before releasing it. Just try to understand my frustration level. sorry for the poor rating.

Now a days getting a message at bottom of the every news article I open, not sure why I get it? It isn't allowing me to read the complete article. "You are seeing this message because ad or script blocking software is interfering with this page. Disable any ad or script blocking software, then reload this page."

The user experience for the version 2.0 has been horrible. 2.1 looks better. If you want to show the news of last 2-3 days, atleast put a timestamp for each article so that users understand which one is fresh news. I have resorted to reading the news in my mobile browser just because of this. Hope u fix this soon.

The app is getting struck very much. After reading the news articles for more than 5 to 10 minutes, was getting stuck and hanging. This is gonna be irritating especially for screen reader users. Please fix this problem as early as possible because this is getting very serious. Not able to read news comfortably. However there is no issue with the news coverage. Eenadu is my favourite and the best news coverage media.

What happened to this app. Have been using from day 1 never faced such a problem. Always crashes ..gives no internet message..some headings stop opening...list goes on.... very sad to see. Though I live in abroad I see the world through the eyes of eenadu. My heart bleeds seeing the app performing this way. Please support or revamp the development team..Had to edit the past 5* rating to write this comment.

Why epaper was removed from the application?? It was a good option to know the local news for people who stay away from their hometowns. But, in this modified app, the feature itself was not visible. App description says epaper included. But, no where I found that feature. Please look into this and bring back the feature.

We are unable to select required sub menus from menu preference. Getting parts error popup menu button while selecting required sub menus and district editions. we are sad for missing more information and news. please solve it. Eenadu is my best friend to get valuable information.

Not at all convinced with the performance of the app. Being one of the oldest and top circulated news papers in India, it should maintain the good standards for their digital media. This app is having problems such as slow loading, crashes, hangs in middle etc.. the team failed to fine tune the app, after waiting so many days I fed up and finally writing this review. I suggest to change the entire developing team and bring out a good app with good outlook and performance.

Some thing wrong with this app. While reading one page, suddenly goes back to home page. Happening number of times. Removed and reinstalled. Still the same. Really getting frustrated. No option. I have to stop using this failed app. I am switching over to other news app. Very frustrating. Bye Eenadu

I'm going to uninstall this app until this is fixed. Older version was better in design. Add smaller font size, so that more info will be covered in the full length of the screen. I lost interest in reading news with the font you've updated in latest version

Downloaded new version n facing problems. 1) older version is better in look and feel 2) unable to change language, by default its taking native language 3) notifications are receiving even though disabled them. 4) with finger adjust earlier we can able to zoom comfortably... Now have to go somewhere in setting to do them Minimum Common sense is, need to test app before releasing to market. Earlier version i was using for years and first time i am planning to uninstall bcoz of this latest version.

The app was excellent until latest update.! The new update completely ruined user experience.. in-app notification settings doesn't work properly.. all notification sounds in settings automatically turns on even when you change them to off.. notifications look ugly af without any text.. fix it ASAP or I may stop using it..

I don't have any Network issues also, still I'm unable to open the Application. It shows me that you're not connected to the 4g Network. Or pls check your Network Connections. This is annoying me a lot.Earlier this app used to open immediately, now I have to go to the Google play store and open the app. My all other Apps are opening immediately without any problems. Pls give me a solution.

I love Eenadu paper, I have an attachment with it from my childhood. Though there are many other news papers in Telugu my eyes will always search for Eenadu. I am very disappointed with this app, as it gets stuck every now and then. I try to reopen twice or thrice... Then also same issue, I am frustrated but I won't stop reading this. My humble request to you guys to please rectify issues. Thank you

While I am getting consistent notifications, clicking on a notification takes me to an empty page (some times news page opens momentarily and takes me to empty page immediately).... I can normally open the app and read news, but opening news from the notification is the problem. This has been happening for past year on multiple Android phones .

When I ever I clicked news headlines or news articles, it is not at all opening.. I uninstalled and again installed.. but no luck.. this is election time. we are looking each and every update and it is time to you to increase readers..Pls fix the bugs and release new version..

Not that good UI experience with latest version. Dear ushodaya team, If it was the earlier version I used to read it daily. But the UI experience with the latest version is very bad. Please give us the earlier version. It was really good to read.

The latest update is very satisfying. Including e-paper in the app is very helpful. Also, a link is given in the first page of the e-paper, which takes us to the later part of the content in the next upcoming pages. This idea is really good. Even the elderly people could get connected to this app. Good work team...

It was working fine and UI was good until the last update. Since the new update it is very SLOW, it is taking forever to open news. Font is also not good as it is giving big font when we open news at first time and later it is changing to our specifications set at settings.

UI is bad and finally worst. App look and feel is not good. Didn't seem to read after update. No time for fresh articles, frustating ads. In previous version every fresh news displays time, We can easily identify latest , new and old with this time. Finally App is not user friendly..

Way of covering the news is very good👍and also more national and international news to be published. Sometimes there is diffect in publishing district news such as the heading of the and the news items doesn't synchronized so please look into the matter. Sunday special is also being published well, but the puzzles etc. are seeming so small that they are unable to work out.

When reading the news in between the page showing white screen with circle being rotated for long time. I have to exit the app and reopen the news for reading the it again. I am sorry but, it's really irritating. Pleat fix it as soon as possible.

Always crashes the app, There is no improvement, still having same issues. When I open to read a news, with in a minute it will refresh and takes me to home and it will not let me read the complete news. It happens every time.

The new UI is not as smooth experience as I have experienced previously. There is no Epaper in the UI. Looking at the full length of paper is different from the one in thumbnails. Please provide us the Epaper options ASAP.
