eFax – Send Fax From Phone

Don't Download This App Totally Scam. There is no option for cancel your subscription. They make it really hard i try many time and follow all instructions but didn't find any options regarding cancel subscription or i never use this app just download and then delete but don't how they charge me how i subscribe. Really frustrated

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. not only would it not send the fax, it is impossible to cancel. I went to the website and found the cancel my subscription link - it says this is not possible and I have to speak to a representative, but only an automated chat is available that will not let me progress. Very very stressful. Total scam.

Can't get into my account, when I WAS able to get in, I tried canceling it multiple times. My card it was using was maxed out for months so it didn't take for the longest time and now it just charged me 60 bucks. I need my account deactivated.

I have had eFax for about a year and a half. Everything has been fine until I decided to cancel my service. They won't let you cancel. I highly discourage anybody from using their services I have been trying for 5 months to cancel! They are scammers and rip off artists buyer beware!!! Efax, if you see this review please cancel my service! Go back and look at all of my emails! And don't reply by telling me to call that number because it doesn't work!

So Far, So Good..lets keep it that way ;) Seriously though..worked Great, very easy to use, quick and I did not need to buy one, set up one; or even leave my house-Winner, right there! While, I'm not a business, this would be great for a start up business! Charles L.

This app doesn't work (as in does not actually send faxes) and then makes it impossible to cancel your account. It is absolutely a scam and should be removed from the Play store.

Awesome app. Went to go fax something at a postal store and they charge $2 for first page and $1 after....I had to send a 45 page document...so getting a month free and then spending around $17 a month after the trial sounds like a bargain....also they have a digital attachment option so I didnt even have to take pictures of each page....I just attached the document and waited a little while. There is a button to verify when it is sent. Very user friendly.

Automatic Billing, No Refunds! I was quite satisfied with this service at first. Free intro and the offer of a free month after. The service works; the 3 faxes I sent went through perfectly fine. But then I forgot about it. After 3 unused months (@$16.95 ea.), I remembered and wanted to cancel. They'd already charged me, so I asked to discontinue the auto billing instead of just ending the service. That is impossible. And they wouldn't provide a refund. Expensive & Dishonest. It's a Scam!!

A great example of why you shouldn't judge an app by its star rating. The fax app is FANTASTIC. No nonsense, tookiterally 45 seconds to setup and start using. I had a time sensitive document to send and like a lot of people we don't have a landline and fax anymore at home. In about 2 minutes this app saved me a 45 minute drive not to mention the fees. The interface is clean and very easy to navigate. Thanks for a great app.

The ability to take a picture of a document and send as an attachment to the fax is amazing! looks like a black & white xooy of the documents you take the pictures of. This saves me more time than I can believe - no more portable scanners, slow scan speeds, that nightmare is over. eFax is the only product for me!!

Unable to send even one fax. Followed directions, tried several times over the course of four hours. Checked email, followed link to verify account. After composing, tapping the "send" icon would result in the screen darkening and stating that it was sending, and then nothing. It would just stay like that and not even be stored as draft. Verified with recipient that it wasn't received. I'll have to wait until later today when I'm at the office to send via landline. Unsubscribing/Uninstalling.

It took me a moment to successfully send my fax due to me not being very tech savvy. Once I was shown how to send how to use the app I discovered it was easier than I thought. This app is excellent for those times when you definitely have to get a fax through right away. Only thing is you can only send a limited amount within each month for free, they do offer another option for a monthly fee for those of you who need to fax more frequently, otherwise I really like it.

I wouldn't trust any app that tries to pressure you into paying for something they promoted as "free." Especially when they're charging monthly fees and offer complicated cancelation procedures for something I'm only going to use maybe once every year. Sadly enough, that is exactly what this app does, and I do not appreciate anything that wastes my time trying to make quick cash off of me.

Perfect on the go tool for your phone that makes it so convenient to send and receive faxes on the go to save time and trouble of having to either go home to send your fax or go to the library and do it because who knows, when you need to send one, the library may be closed. Really glad I have this great tool and the app makes it even more convenient. Keep up the good work efax!

It sure is hard to cancel my subscription. I've tried calling, I've followed all the instructions I could find. I finally found the "cancel subscription" button, and it says I can't. I have to chat with a representative. I try, and everything freezes. Over and over. Please help me cancel it! The app doesn't even support the type of document I need to send.

Great app! Extremely useful in my line of work where they're are still some business trapped in 1993 and only communicate via fax! We use it to send invoices. REQUEST FOR DEVELOPERS: PLEEEASE find a way to show tags in the inbox! I get hundreds of purchase orders from the same vendor and without being able to rename/tag it in the inbox, I just have endless faxes from the same number and have to manually go in and check each one to find what I'm looking for! Other than that, great app!!

The bad reviews are spot on. I downloaded this app and realized immediately it wouldn't work for what I needed. I canceled my account as soon as I saw the charge, but now I've been charged for two more months. At this point I expect a full refund for all three months thanks to the garbage "service." Not to mention, my account service data on their website details the fact that I've never successfully used the service to send or receive a single fax. I redownloaded the app just to leave a review.

App is very shoddy. The day after creating the account, I started receiving spam incoming faxes, the app is crashing several times when I'm using different features, and, worst of all, I'm unable to actually attach documents making this app worthless. Now after testing a few faxes, I'm being force-logged-out. When I try to login it says to contact Customer Service, in a message that's cut off in portrait orientation.

Takes forever to cancel! You can't just cancel your subscription through Play Store, you need to go online to have a live chat. I have requested to cancel and I've been waiting for 10 min already and my queue number and waiting period have not changed!!! It would be much easier and faster to use a fax machine at a post office or something (ask a friend etc.) than using this app! And they say "cancel any time". So not ANY time, I even wonder if the "queue" is real...

Cancelled the subscription for this app well before the 1st month was up, and they are still charging my account. Tried to log back in to make sure I cancelled it, and it tells me the fax number associated with my account doesn't exist. I will never use this service again, nor will I recommend it to anyone else. Seems they just want to keep charging you whether you cancel or not. Looks like other people have had this same problem, too.

Well believe it or not there are some areas that still require faxes like doctor's offices some construction offices they want to see a hard copy come across their fax machine I can't believe it so I keep efax I've had it for a very long time always been very successful comes in handy. But there are some people who do not accept emails.

Worst app ever. Don't waste your time and effort with this. I have tried to use their free fax service, and it keeps showing progress bar and never sends fax. Customer support team , each one of them suggests different options and finally asks to upgrade account to pay and subscribe. And the very bad part, is customer support disconnected the call while am talking.

The free phone number that you are given doesn't work properly for some reason. In fact, after signing into the app, you ate given a free number, but if you go the "register" email that you are sent, it immediately tells you to choose a new number. A note to the developer: I believe that there is an issue with the temporary fax numbers provided and it is causing the endless send issue that many are complaining about. If it is intentional, then I don't think it's ethical to force people to pay.

App won't verify my email and it couldn't find my account. So I called and asked to cancel the subscription and was told I had to go through Google Play and so I did. But they can not issue a refund since eFax has the pending hold on my card. So I called again and was given the same answer, I am now fuming and annoyed with this go around. Because I know that y'all are holding the charge until next month when the subscription would be able to go through the cancellation process and oops to late

This app is a scam! They won't let you cancel or even login without a password, but I never made a password. Update: they cancelled it for me, but I just found out they never sent my ONE fax, so the fax that never even made it cost me $16.99

I've used eFax before. Great results and 75/100% accuracy when dealt with without its compositions of its customer service support. I 👍.......

Great app. I needed a fax for registering with the SS office and some other important (personal) tasks. This app saved me from having to go to fedex to fax things. Will use again when I need it.

The app works great. It has been awesome to easily fax documents for selling our home. However you can NOT cancel the subscription on the app. I only needed it for one month during the sale of our house and had to call to cancel. They continued to offer me "promos" to try to get me to not cancel. It is just frustrating that it is such a pain to cancel. For that reason alone I might try a different service if I need the ability to send faxes from my phone again.

After testing multiple Apps trying to find the right fit to send a simple and important fax. I found eFax. All the other Apps, charge you, but eFax gives you the option, that you can send and/or receive, an x amount of pages per month for Free. If you need more than what the Free option allows you, then eFax gives you the option to upgrade. But it is NOT a must. With an option like this where I'm not forced to buy anything, how I'm not going to be grateful and spread the word? eFax is EXCELLENT💕
