EFI PrintMe Mobile

Companies use EFI PrintMe Mobile to enable their employees to easily print from their Android devices while at work.
**
* Please note: PrintMe Mobile is not a consumer app for use at home. ***

With PrintMe Mobile software installed on your company’s network, you can use this app to securely connect over Wi-Fi from your Android device to any of your company’s network printers. It is an easy-to-use, fast app with no ads. Use it to print from your workspace or conference room, or as you move from one floor to another, visit buildings across your corporate campus or travel to a company office in another city.PrintMe Mobile publishes a list of company printers that automatically appear on your Android smartphone or tablet. PrintMe Mobile does not require a wireless printer ― and works with all brands and types of printers on your company network.

Print by selecting “Share”, “Open With”, “Complete Action Using”, or similar commands — depending on the application. You just use your normal application menus, choose the PrintMe Mobile app to select a printer, choose your printing options, and print.

PrintMe Mobile preserves fonts and layouts so your document prints the way it should on any printer. So you get high-quality prints wherever you are, whenever you need them.

See a video showing how easy it is to use at www.efi.com/printmemobile.

Then ask your IT department to download and install the 45-day free trial of the full feature PrintMe Mobile software for enterprise mobile printing at www.efi.com/printmemobile. This secure, scalable solution is cost-effective as it uses existing printers, plus it’s easy to deploy and support.

We have this in our office. I iPhone users can print without issue but android users can't print.

The whole point of PrintMe is to be able to print from your phone to a Fiery driven copier. At that it works great. And no it isn't free (there is a license fee for the printer) but if you want quality software developed, you have to pay the programmers. If you are looking for an app to print at home, this isn't it.

This is a joke

As other reviewers have said, those giving this 1 star are not understanding the app. And the incoherence of some of the statements is weird and scary. Are you ok? This app, once installed properly on a PC, works really well. Not sure yet what it will cost after 45 days, but it is the only app that so far has printed out PDFs the way they look on the screen (and the way Acrobat shows them in Windows). Web pages come out nicely, too. However, I can't get it to print any DOC files. So for that I will use the $7 DirectOffice app, which prints them the way they look using a Windows version of Word. That's the Android world for you. But shelling out $7 for an app that works for most of your needs is still better that $30 for a Windows app that "scans your registry for errors", if you know what I mean. You paid anywhere from $200-$800 for your Android device, so you can't be that poor. Anyway, EFI and DO at least avoid that idiotic Google Cloud crap that prints everything out as if it went through a down-sampler to 150 dpi, like some fax. I mean, if Google were to get rid of that noise and really make GC do what everyone expects it to, we would all be just so happy.

free that is unless you want to print

To use this app you need the printme software installed on your print server or host device. Google efi/printme to learn more. The application is great. Allows mobile printing to any printer from any mobile device. This app is free but will only work with the software component. Those ranking it one star obviously do not know how to properly configure this with the software.

Not a free app since it requires a purchase of server based software. No different than many other printing apps.

I also downloaded the free trial of the server component and was then able to print from my phone to all of my networked office printers.

Stoopid

Its perfectly reasonable for app authors to charge for their products. It is not reasonable for companies to list apps as free when they only work with a paid service. That's the case here and I consider it tacky. It also makes me suspicious of whatever else the company foes or says. In short, it makes me not want to deal with it or use its products.

I think it is sending a virsus to my galaxy s III. My phone randomly shuts down & then reboot. They need to redo the application and try again.

It only prints certain formats and worst of all when you can actually find something that will print, it throws up a window wanting you to pay for it.

Will work on any brother wifi printer. I love it, works perfect!

Not free...application requires installation of software in computer server to print on a network printer. That software is not free..you need to purchase or try for 45days
