EFIS TA
EFIS TA is an Electronic Flight Information System for airplanes, which runs right on your smartphone/tablet.
EFIS TA app is paired with TalosAvionics Aeolus-Sense instruments and FlySense AoA via Wifi or USB and provides as full glass cockpit solution for pilots. EFIS TA works also with the internal sensors(if existed) of your smartphone/tablet as a backup system in case of emergency or Aeolus-Sense disconnection.

App uses accelerometers not gyros. When used in a real aircraft or shows a significant false pitch up during the takeoff roll. Saw a previous comment referring too this issue would have given 3 stars except dev completely dismissed the comment... Dude you're software doesn't work as intended, don't take it personally, replicate the error and fix it!
Appears to work well, but if a cell phone is used as the base, can be subject to a lot of vibration, particularly if the phone's AHRS is used for the source. A manual adjustment option would be useful.
I have the Talos Sense Pro ADSB. This unit has many great features and has mostly been working good. But recently, periodically while in flight it will show the aircraft in a Barrel ROLL or other times doing a LOOP while in level flight, this will continue until the unit is restarted.
Interesting but hardware is insanely expensive. I will never pay 1600$ + for a piece of hardware just to connect a phone with an app that tells you NOT to rely on it for flight. !!! At this price I can buy a real aviation EFIS that I can trust. There are other alternative out there.
I think the app is cool. I may purchase the hardware in the near future. Only thing I noticed is that I cant set the Baro Pressure. Is there a way to set the Baro pressure rather than the altitude?
90% accurate on my phone without using aeolus sense. The banner "aeolus sense disconnect" is really annoying can you disable it or move it to another side of the app. Thank you !! :D
Fantastic unit that is extremly accurate and reliable. Worth every dollar and gives the most bang for the buck. The pro version is the same way. I also used that one and it was excellent...5 stars
Marvelous ahrs, air speed, compass, GPS, etc. Works perfectly. Used in single place motor glider as only electronic instrument. Only steam gage is asi, vsi and alt. EFIS is much more precise.
Would be much better if the annoying legend in the bottom could be removed.
The app is very interesting and accurate, only shows a bit of pitch fault but maybe I didn't calibrate it well. Just wanted to ask how do I delete waypoints and/or delete flightplans? Cheers
Says sensor data missing. All sensors on my device are on. It works for the first 20 secods then error comes up. Not reliable.
I just literally uninstalled it shortly after installation because of the annoying banner "Aeolus-Sense Disconnected." Why couldn't it just appear at start up then disappear or have the option to close it at least.
Whats the physics behind this not working in helicopters?, i have notice that the AH drifts in roll to the left which is weird, isnt a ballanced turn a ballanced turn whether youre in a car plane heli or kite?
Nice looking app, but pitch measurement uses accelerometers, making it useless. Found another app which uses gyro.

Only dislike is the aeolus sense disconnected banner. Can not figure out how to make it go away. Other than that seems to be an a+.
Works great however my phone does not have a compass sensor and whenever I use the app it says I need to calibrate it however I can't. It would be nice to have a feature to turn on/off different sensors in the app so more people can use it.
Helpful little app for microlight pilots but use for info only. Checked on recent flight and bank angle seems to work well with std turns as long as turbulence limited. Horizontal change rate too fast for anything other than smooth air. will experiment more but good start.
