Egg Timer

Wonderful app that I used for years until the Pie Android version (9.0) came out. This app was incompatible with it and would not give a sound when the time was up.

Superb in it's simplicity, but I can't work out how to change the tone. Where's the 'menu' button?

I just wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful and yet simple tool. Right now my family is moving out of a duplex so while packing I use this timer when doing the family laundry at our shared washer and dryer and this timer has come in so handy. Immediatly after the clothes get dried I can fold them and pack em. Plus the timer is so simple to use and runs in the background so I can take and recieve calls. Thank you. You've not only shaved off some time but also some stress. :)

I was looking for a simple timer for my exercises. This one works simply and you can change all the presets to what you want do you can have lots of current ones. The only problem I have is finding any options>settings on my phone (a Y5).

This is my number one parenting app. No more counting to three, just tell them how many minutes and no arguments

Old and outdated and rather terrible on anything when using the auto rotating screen. Too bad it appears abandoned.

Excellent, one click to select any of 24 lengths of time. If you don't like them, just long-press to change them, and they'll stay changed. Large selection of musical alarm tones that keep going until you press Silence, and then promptly stop. No multiple timers going at once, but I don't need them. I'd give it six stars (if possible), if only I could use my own MP3s as alarm tones.

Unlike other apps it comes up when the timer runs down even if the phone is locked, so the tone can be turned off without unlocking first.

Handles screen locking properly. However landscape mode is extremely ugly and the bottom half of all timer values aren't displayed. 5 stars for the portrait mode, 1 for the landscape mode.

When you long-press a timer and try to change the value, you can't do it with the keyboard. It just does not save it when you do. You are forced to use the up and down arrows to do it successfully.

Ive tried several of these kitchen timer apps since our egg timer broke. this is the only one that is fully customizable and the only one with an adjustable alarm volume. I've uninstalled those crappy ones, this one is much, much better.

It has an outdated interface, but I'd always go with something ugly and functional over something fancy and useless. And I fail to see a more intelligent, fast and intuitive solution to this particular task. Screw swiping, yay for buttons!

Sounds simple, but it's just so easy to use. Far more usable than any of the timer/stopwatch apps I've used

something with the notification system. Sorry to uninstall this app I use a few times per week.

I've used this for a long time and can't imagine a better timer app. User interface is perfect.

It is very convenient to use. Love the preset buttons. 3 phones later and never a problem and is refreshing to have an app with no ads, no highjacked screen, etc.

What else could you ask for? Raison d'etre achieved. • Common, yet customizable, time intervals. • Custom alarms • Volume control and vibrate options. • One touch restart so I am easily reminded to take a stretch break every 20 min.

No-nonsense timer, highly efficient interface. I just wish the time font was bigger or user adjustable

Very clean, highly functional. Every button can be set to whatever you like. Makes it very fast and ready to start a timer.

Do one thing and do it well, and this app does that! So quick and easy to use. Does a simple job perfectly with only the flexibility you need with nothing getting in the way. Nice work, thanks Tim!

Love everything about it. Except the crappy low res. icon that looks like it is from Windows 3.1

Used it for years, simply the best: does what it has to do with one click on the right timer duration for the job. No fancy unneeded features, simply excellent.

Had this app since day 1 on my android & is fantastic, use it every day. Only problem is the alarm music doesn't loop, so once its gone off that's it.

Nothing extra, just a great little timer. The simple interface really helps when you have your hands full.

Best egg timer app IMO. The only one Ive faithfully used for years now. Simple & reliable

It might not look like much, but it is very useful and has a wonderfully simple user interface

This program does all it says (all I need) and has a charming simplicity to it. That and the little egg timer images just make my day :-)
