really the worst app ever. I had forgotten the password and applying to reset it. I ask to get a phone message as part of the password reset process and I get a message "internal server error occurred". I want to read a medical document which takes 30 min to just unlock the account. absolutely nightmare. I don't see how companies use this service to send e- post!
Zero stars. Useless. I have been sent an email with attachments. I need to download to edit and forward. I can view online BUT cannot copy or download from the web page or save in a format that will open. So I install the app on my android tablet. BUT I cannot open the email in the app. Message on the screen ' not compatable, open with egress for windows' So... Absolutely useless.
difficult to use and unreliable
I like the new updates which allow me to access all my work emails in one place, whereas before this only let me see the secure emails. Now it works like a proper email app- so I can read both normal and secure emails immediately, and write an email as normal and choose whether it needs to be encrypted. This is handy for keeping my work and personal accounts separate!
It won't let me use the app, keeps coming up with the message access denied, even though I eventually got into the app it wouldn't let me read the message just said access denied again. I thought I may have done something wrong so tried Internet version and no issues 🤔 managed to read messages so it's definitely the app. You lucky with a 1 star
The app has a fresh and clean look. Love the fact that I can now add my full mailbox in this app allowing me to view secure emails in the app and also compose/reply to them. Thank you for making it easier to secure data on the go!!
Rubbish! Since last update it's even more unreliable than before. Won't open any emails. App won't even launch. Just a grey screen. I hate the fact that I've had to purchase a license for work for Egress. I wish I'd opted for something else.
Totally unusable either on web or app with this app installed. Fails with what is clearly a well known programming error ("not an instance of an object"). In any event the "security" provided is no more than an email confirmation loop. Why is the government wasting money forcing people to use this literally useless product? Update to add: if you uninstall the app then the web site may then work.
Unusable App: crashes without fail every time since this new logo app has been rolled out 27 April. JULY UPDATE: seemingly in no rush to issue a fix, over a 6 weeks since last version, which once again didn't fix the problem!
It says access denied for stuff I need right now. Thanks a lot. This garbage app is useless. Now I need to beg my clients to send me info using regular email now. Effing trash app This app is even worse on a desktop. You have to sign in every day.. and every time you open outlook. Straight garbage
unable to open any email sent via this app and zero knowledge on how to correct the problem from the provider except uninstall and wait for an update patch that may or may not work in the future. I will delete the app and advise the sender that they are using a sub par way of corresponding, a carrier pigeon with no sense of direction a blind fold and a severely sprained wing will be more convenient way to send messages.
I cannot use Egress on my ipad. I have downloaded the apps . When l try to open my emails from Egress it says access denied
utterly aweful. I've got adhd learning difficulties . I've found this app impossible to follow. terrible app. not counter intuitive at all. unhelpfull, unusable. Rubbish.
Does not understand why they made the app useless. It does not work. Simple as that. Does not work in the Android and does not work for IOS either. It is an insult to fee paying cutomers who wants a basic functioning software.
Unable to read any email due to access issues however I am a registered user and access is granted by sender every time they send an email but egress always reports "Access denied" or awaiting permission.
Useless app. The whole platform is a sham. Asks for password reset. Keep on resetting it a hundred times. Doesn't reset, nor lets you login.
I think this is possibly the worst app I have ever come across. I am obliged to use it as one company I deal with only sends via Egress. If I could smash this useless app into 1000 pieces, I would.
The Windows version works well but the Android one is prone to problems which can be cleared but only by restarting the app or often the machine.
Just a dire secure mail experience. A real shame a lot of medical professionals use it rather than a more capable secure messaging system.
Very difficult to understand how it works, I think I have replied to a message but see no evidence of it in my account. I have to send copies of everything over the open email, which makes it all a bit pointless, doesn't it?
trying to open a secure email, egress want access to my photos. I don't think so!
forced to attempt to use this by a large paranoid corporation to description an email sent by them. After 30 mind using correct login details I failed to log in. Life is too short for poor software,even if it's free.
Asks for password which I obviously made unique/unusual for extra security. Don't remember it at all, no option to reset password! App is now useless.
Destroyed my outlook in my desktop and once not allowed to access media and files it wouldn't work and it became impossible to use or change settings
I cant open it on my phone , it's a rubbish app says access denied thou I could access it before .I have no choice to use this app for certain emails but I cant always view them !
Just installed. Cannot access at all. What is the point of this app if it doesn't work. A letter from my consultant is sitting somewhere where I can't see it.
Worst mobile app ever. Does not allow to see the text of sent emails and tries to force you to use Microsoft products.
Can't get on Egress to see my messages it says wrong email wrong password even though I set up an account its totally stupid I've got important emails to read and can't get them
