The eGuide to Birds of East Africa is an interactive companion to Terry Stevenson and John Fanshawe's Birds of East Africa field guide – the essential guide for birdwatchers visiting this spectacular region. It covers Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi. This application has specific features that will enhance your birding experience.
FEATURES:
- Hi-res images, distribution maps and detailed text descriptions of over 1300 bird species including breeding species and regular visitors.
- These images can be expanded to fill the entire width of the screen with zoom.
- Audible calls for more than 1000 bird species
- "Bird Compare" that allows you to compare two birds on the same screen.

- including geolocation. Your list can also be exported to email.
- View the Bird Index by Common or Scientific bird names either alphabetically or taxonomically.
* Uninstalling/reinstalling the program will result in the loss of your list, it is recommended that you keep your own backup (master list) separate from the application (application provides backup/restore functionality in "My List" page)

So disappointed! App suddenly stopped working... 2 years and 11 countries worth of data down the drain!!!! Even with all setting correct and backups done every week... All gone! Never again!!!!!!
Terrible app. Can't search by region, glitchy, sounds are poor quality, no way to export lists... could go on. Save the money and just use the book.
Awesome App to use in the field. Birds' guide on the palm of my hand. What happens when one changes the phone. Does the App remain useful or maybe one would need a backup?
Fantastic app, way more practical than carrying the book around (if you know what youre looking for) and the direct availability of sound has helped me countless times
Previous phone it worked well but new phone it half loads and then stalls...tried lots of times but always the same result.... Maybe not working with the later android version???...is there going to be a fix???
I love this app, to be honest I found it a bit pricey when I first purchased it, but after using it on my phone for all these years it's so awesome, I love the fact that it also has all the birds calls. Thank you to whoever made this app possible.
For sure this is great app for birding! I am curious to use it once! But i tried to install it with this phone! But it doesn't appear on desktop! Please if any support let me know how and why is not working in my phone.
App apears to be very good, not happy with the permissions. App needs access to phone for 1st use to verify purchase. After 1st use, app wont load unless it has phone access.This is a security concern.
The app worked on my old phone, but I cant get it to install properly anymore. It is an expensive app, so this needs to fixed asap, or I'd like a full refund.
A great App for birders. But please add more birds to be compared. Not comparing only two birds.
Like many others I have found this will not load on new phone. Help desk would appear to be incorrectly named.

Good app, but missing very crucial feature, cloud syncing of your findings especially if you change devices you will lose all your stored information. It is sad that no updates on this while there are free apps out there doing much better e.f eBird.
