Looks nice but is rather something to play with than something to work with. Examples: the graphs look nice but i can't scroll through to get an exact value at a specific point. Other example: I can't even see in which mode I was training (i.e. negative, adaptive...) and I can't see the weight of each repetition. If I train adaptive with 80kg the up just tells me I made qpx 80kg but that's wrong, only the first repetition was 80kg. Also there is no connection to google fit.
My local Y just invested in some of their machines, that seems cool. The app seems ok but too bad it can not sync with more services like Google Fit, Samsung Health or Fitnesssyncer. I don't want to re-enter data when I already have it in another app. I want to get the data once and it to sync everywhere.
I am using this app for more than an year. It is a good app to log your activities. The muscle imbalance feature is really good to watch upon .... Gives a pretty good idea on which muscle to work more ..... Most ofbthe exercises can be found in to log .... However if you are lazy to search every time the. You can use templates ( it's easy and fast)
While I love he eGym system, the app is really just a poor excuse. Even as a premium user it lacks basic functionality that every other mediocre fitness app has: - No checking of sets within an exercise - No sync with Google fit and apple health - the sync with the eGym machines works, but it doesn't understand the concept of multiple sets and instead adds the exercise multiple times - the sync also doesn't check the existing exercises in the training plan I could go on,but I'm out of characters
a really good app! User-friendly, nice design interface, I use it every time I go to my fitness studio. Feedback for improvement: it would be great to add in the activity levels a report monthly/yearly, so that the user can see the progress in a long period of time. Thank you!
My workouts on the Egym circuit, are challenging and therefor motivational. At 81 years old, I welcome both. The more times I go around the circuit the better I feel and the more I push myself to do. On occasion, I have compleated up to 13 circuits a day. My fellow, senior citizen, members encourage me to demionstrate that we can hang in and compete with the best of the pack. Glad to oblige!
Stop asking me to rate in app and get some proper integrations! The app itself is fine but EVERY time I input an exercise it asks me to rate the app. So I do, started at 3* and have steadily dropped to 1* due the constant annoyance. And the reason I started at 3* is the integration with other platforms is dreadful. I get that the German developers despise Google but lack of Google Fit integration is ridiculous. I switched from Map My Run to Runkeeper for a while but that didn't work either.
Out of the blue resets of activity levels back to wood level are pretty demotivating. The integration with other fitness apps doesn't stick for longer than a day and to sync, the work around to log out and log in again, inserting e-mail and password. Pretty aggravating.
Usability is fine but whenever launching the app it takes for ages and crushing all the time and it's like a luck when you can use seamlessly. Dear Devs! Fix the bugs!!!!
going to gym is enjoyable and not a chore. collecting the coins take your mind off the exercise and gives you something to concentrate on. the machines are set to adapt to you so no guess work. It's fab. I love checking the app to see how I'm doing it's real motivation.
This was almost good. Besides having no real sub menus for exercise groups or any way to search besides guess the naming convention. My routines all got re ordered alphabetically and seems to be no way to change that. Almost useless
Would be great if you could save the ranking and fitness levels and values via Google Fit or your own cloud solution! I hate it that I have to start from wood ranking every time I reset my phone! Please add a backup feature!
Worked great for 2 weeks then my training plan disappeared and I can't create a new one. Keep getting useless error message saying try later. Very disappointed about the time wasted setting this up.
I don't understand how the points are distributed... Sometimes it happens that I add points for my workout but my total score gets smaller?? I get points for my workout but still my ranking doesn't change? I'm very confused and it really takes away my motivation... Please explain or help. Same issue happens with my friends Premium account... :((
What's really missing: take over a plan from a previous day, including weights that have been altered. It makes little sense to just take over a template for a day because my weights have increased from the template, so the previous day with the same exercises should be selectable as a template.
The staff are always present and they are very helpful. No long waiting to use the mashines. Enough room to do some body strength exercises etc... keep it up!!
Works well if you have Polar for syncing. No syncing for Garmin. The vendor days that this app is unsupported.
I use this helpful app to record my progress using the Egym at my local sports centre. I find it easy to use & understand & has really helped me to remain focused.
It's amazing. It keeps medicated and active. I look forward to working out and improving my health now. I wish they spread out in more gyms.
Don't bother to install, waste of time. You can't use unless you're a member of eGym. It's not accessible to everybody. It doesn't say on the app description, members only app.
Good, but really needs GoogleFit and Garmin integrations, or at least a way to export workouts.
If you just want to casually log your workouts, this app is most definitely not for you. Setup is hideously complicated.
Works, especially the trainer workout plans are great, but could use a few (simple) updates. Checking of a single set instead of all at once, asking if I want to store a change as default before overwriting my sets, a timer for time-based excercises. And maybe the ability to add a small note (or at least a flag) at the end of a workout/excercise if the weights could be increased the next time.
