This app is pretty good to control my garage door. The thing that's really lacking though is in the notification options. It has a single "garage" notification which triggers when you open the door, close the door, or leave it open too long. There really should be separate notifications for each. Without that, I hear my notification sound, but I don't know what happened. I still have to look at my phone to see what it means. Other than that, it works great. Because the specific notifications are important to me, I can only give it 3 stars.

The app (and associated garage opener it controls) has always had its hiccups, but they were minor till today. Both my wife and I were logged out of our ehomelife account (separate phones, separate apps). When trying to relog in, it said our password was incorrect but we know it wasn't because I could see the saved password on my wife's phone. So I had to go through the process of setting a new one. Doesn't sound like a big deal but for reason im not listing here, it IS a big deal.

Very easy to install and set up, has a fast response rate when triggered but still has glitch issues. Just started having more glitches. App says door is open when it's actually closed then sends a notice that the door has been open too long and closes it but it actually opens it instead. Tried removing and installing the app several times, works for a short period then goes back to the same issue. Would not recommend this device or app as it is not secure.

Good. This winter ot survived the cold snap however now it,s unreachable for some reason. It works if I unplug it and plug it back in but it will die after a bit. Waiting for warmer days to see if it's just the cold. Otherwise it's awesome to have.

Good app, just some issues integrating with Alexa. You have to have a pin to use this with Alexa. But there is no way to add a pin in the app.

A little broken English/spelling in some areas, but overall seems to work well for turning the lights on and off quickly! Was able to use it as a how-to guide for setting up my new light switches. I think a video tutorial would've been more helpful alongside the how-to guide. It walked me through setting up the lights with Google Home. Very easy to follow and working flawlessly thus far!

Just got my outdoor outlet. I set it up and then moved it to an outdoor outlet right outside my living room window. But when i went to turn on the secobd switch that my christmas lights are plugged into, it said i couldn't connect. My phone was connected to the wifi so i don't know why it did that. I was standing right inside the window. It finally connected after 5-10 min. It did the same thing when i went to turn them off. If it gets better, i will change my rating.

I get the "garage door failed action" everytime I close it with the app. Customer support suggested changing how long before faulting, the app has been updated and works fine now. It does read acurately if door is open or closed. It has been working very well for quite a while and I am satisfied with it. It was a good choice in my opinion.

I have edited this review. A very patient and helpful customer service rep provided replacement parts and helpful suggestions. All issues resolved. Opener was easy to install and it is working with Google Assist. I understand that man made products sometimes have issues and that is why good customer service is so important. Thank you for your help.

No automation for garage door opener Updated: After recent updates, automation and google integration is now available and works flawlessly so far. I'm surprised that they are sending new updates from time to time. Only problem now is the delayed reaction time when you press the open/close button and a few times they failed to work when I'm using a different network.

The device will no longer close the garage door, if it was interrupted in the process of it (garage sensor, garage door button). It will stay left open indefinitely. Simply cannot rely upon it, i believe this is a regression from newer software versions, as this used to work. Can't trust this with my home.

Either reports false opening and closing in the middle of the night, or is disconnected/unavailable. Fail.

The app is intuitive and works great. My garage door being left open is a worry of the past!

Your app is broken, the widget always shows the door is open, constantly have to press refresh on it.

Using this app for Refoss/Meross Smart Garage Door Opener. The garage door functions work great from the app to open/close the door and to see if it is closed or open. However, integration with Alexa and Google Home apps only provides voice controls, the icon button does nothing. Please fix the integration with Alexa and Google Home to provide full functionality from the app to open/close the garage door and check status using the icon buttons.

I am trying to recover my password. I get the email with the pass code but there is no way to enter the code in the app. The code entry field is greyed out.

Works fine at a very basic level for garage door control. Room for improvement regarding Google Home integration (i.e. can't operate or see status though the app, can only issue voice commands and queries). PIN requirement for opening is annoying (if not understandable from a security perspective), since it requires you to verbalize it out loud for GH. Visually basic compared to something like GoSmart app.

Unfortunately the app does not synchronize with either Google home or Alexa. This means I am not able to open and close by voice. That's not what the app indicates and was quite a letdown since having to do it by phone is far less convenient and was not the point. Generally speaking the app works well although it has stopped informing me about garage open and closed when it is by another member of the household. There's definitely some additional work to be done here

Easy setup and install. Install took 30 min and the setup was completed in 5 min. Worked first time and integrated in to Google Home no issues. Very happy

FIX***Installed app and device fine. Linked to Google Assistant. Worked flawlessly 3 times and gave command to close. Door closed but didn't get notification an then widget shows garage door closing and then eventually stops and shows open all the time, whether it's closed or open. If you ask Google is door open or closed will always tell you open because that's what the widget shows. I've removed device and unlinked from Google.went through set up again and still will not show the correct state

App opens and closes garage door, but Notifications don't work properly. I need to "wake" the phone, unlock the screen, in order to get a notification that the door closed after I close it. Open notificationa are not sent at all.

Garage door opener requires a PIN to operate by voice to open...not optimal but was bit of a surprise...works decent enough

I get the "garage door failed action" when I close it with the app. Person at home says the door is opening and closing with my app. I have no confidence if the door is open or closed. It's the reason I installed this. App works fine at home. Install was easy, solid connections and well mounted sensor. Any way to fix this?

Installed Refoss smart garage door opener with this app. Works as promised and integrated with alexa no problem. You have to set up a pin code in Alexa to open the door. Only issue that I ran into was closing the garage door it would partially close and then open again. Quick browse through the settings and had to adjust trigger duration from 1 second to a half a second. Would give 5 stars if this was explained in the setup instructions.

I don't see 2 factor authentication in this app. For any IOT device this is a must. You cannot just rely on the password. I would like to see it sends a text message if you install on a new device and integration (oauth) with Google instead of creating your own account for eHomeLife.

Like the product, hate the app. The app doesn't recognize the door being open/closed manually even though it sends you a notification. Example: if I open my door manually then go to use the app to close the door, I need to wait for the app to "open" the door, that's already open, before I can close it. It becomes frustrating and time consuming.

Try to open garage door while on cellular network and it does not open, icon just lifts and lifts and lift. After refreshing and force stopping it might work. It has gotten so bad that I just connect to my home network when close enough for it to work.
