Einstein Bros Bagels

When I searched for the restaurant closest to me, it said there was no restaurant in the area. Besides previously eating at this location, using the map and the app to go directly to the restaurant and see it labeled, and finally going on their website to confirm that it's still open, it is. I try to send feedback to get it corrected and there is no option for feedback in the app.

The app freaks out when it's not under some kind of internet connection so I have to open the app at my house and keep it open so that the barcode will stay up on the screen. I have to uninstall and reinstall just to get it to let me sign in under mobile data instead of wifi. Any help with this would be appreciated.

I was so excited to see they were updating the app. I was hoping we could finally really customize our orders, so I could actually use the app for more than just tracking rewards. The customization is still super basic and the menu is limited. Just call it a rewards app.

It's a decent app for discounts if you frequently go there, still tho, it's almost not worth it. For example: you get 2 points for every dollar spent. So with a free bagel sandwich reward costing 185 points, every $92.5 spent will save you like 4 bucks... Anyway, just don't expect to be saving the big bucks if you get this app. Still could be worth it in the right situation tho.

The app is super easy to read and navigate, the only thing that I didnt like was how it would crash after a certain amount of time looking at the menu. But overall I love Einsteins and I am excited to be a rewards member <3

Not bad! Wish there were some other options as far as customizing the order, e.g. add avocado, add sausage or bacon, remove onion etc... Because of this I prefer to order in store but this is great for when it's busy and don't have time to stand in line.

The app is generally ok with providing a bar code to scan for rewards, but its ordering system is awful. No options to add or remove specific parts to a sandwhich, no ability to select "pay at store" with pre-orders in order to simplify the process, the menu options seem not quite up-to-date with what any particular store offers. Overall, its outmatched by pretty much every other mobile order for resturant apps, but it at least provides a bar code for simple point additions on purchases at store

This has been a pretty decent app in the past but recently when I try to log in to my Shmear Society Rewards account I get the message "Oh no! Something went wrong." That's it. There's no way to contact Einstein Bros for help with this. I'm essentially blocked from accessing my account using the Einstein Bros app or website. Meanwhile the rewards I've earned are expiring. Bummer. I'll miss Einstein Bros. Maybe try fixing your app?

App charges extra at checkout with no explanation of the charge (tip? convenience fee?). App also shows fewer bagel options and signature items than what the location has to offer. For the sake of convenience, this app is not very convenient at all. I'd rather walk in and order from their full menu, but then I don't get the mobile order's free coffee. But frankly, the free coffee isn't worth it if you don't show me all options available and blindly charge me extra $.50 at mobile checkout.

App is almost unusable. Good luck trying to apply any points to your purchase and they disappear whether used or not once you do. I gave up the on the order and went somewhere else for breakfast.

As many others have noted, you cannot select the bagels you want in the Baker's Dozen - only their preselected flavors. You also cannot order 2 diff flavors of schmears. There is an option to 'edit' time of pickup - but it doesn't work and simply defaults to asap. Not much use for this app as it does not cater to customers needs as far as ordering - just shows accumulated points & coupons. So what's the point?!

Easy to use and lots of features. You can place Doordarsh delivery orders, walk-in, or curbside orders. You can easily track rewards points and use rewards points in to go orders, as well as check out new and promotional items. Menu items are customizable: toasted, lightly toasted, double-toasted, etc. Can't think of any suggestions. Thx!

So passed off! Can't login to my account, says too many attempts try again later. I reset my password and have tried for 2 weeks to get logged in but it keeps locking me out even after only one single attempt to log in. Won't let me sign up a new account because it uses my same phone number.... no customer service number to call! Just seriously passed off about this app!!!!!! (@#$!^*^@!)😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😤😤😤😤

I use the app regularly and i find it very useful. There is only one thing i find aggravating. I have so many points but while the app will "redeem" them and take them away, I never get the item redeemed. I'm always charged tlfor it regardless. What's the point of the redeem system in app if it doesn't work?? I want to officially complain but the app doesn't seem to have a place to voice complaints or problems to.

Disappointing app. I was not able to make simple customizations via the app (e.g. add sausage, no cheese, etc.). Is not even a way to make a note for things that would be no cost (e.g. no cheese, no tomato, etc.). Because of this, I was not able to order in advance and missed out on the free coffee. Found it ironic that the in store menu board promoted customizations that I wanted to do via the app. In the "mobile app" world - its critical to give the customer the same experience via an app as they are able to do in store. As for collecting points ... the app works fine. That's the only use I will have going forward and I guess I won't get the free coffee.

The food and places are fine. This app is trash. This app is just guessing if a place has a certain type or not and even if they do the app won't give you the all the bagel options ever for lots of things any ways. Go in person and ditch the app

This is app is completely useless. It does not allow you to order. It just sends an error message that there are no stores that allow ordering ahead. Pointless to not be able to order. If you order in person, you do not get the credit towards the reward program.

Needs some work, it's a great app but you can't redeem certain rewards, just takes away your points. Why does it charge your card an extra fee after checkout ? $0.50-$1.00 adds up after several purchases. Also it doesn't offer all the menu options.

Can't tell them you don't want cheese on a breakfast bagel? Shouldn't that be like, very very standard on all food ordering apps? Not even just at little check box that says no cheese, but no extra space to specify any changes at all? Lol

I order ahead and my items are ready and waiting for me to pick up! I love the FREE coffee (hot or iced) when I use my app to order ahead! Thanks for offering this reward!

App does not allow stores to block out items that are out of stock. So when you order something not available they will have to substitute with something else.

Used to order every weekend through the app due to the free coffee. Now that is gone, and my favorite shmear (smoked salmon) is not an option. Very disappointing. Dropped from 5 stars.

I'd give it 5-stars if you let us choose the assortment in the bagel packs, and substitutes if out. No one I know likes plain bagels. All in all a great app for ordering and rewards.

Even with the update, you can't make basic customizations like removing cheese from an order. This app is so far behind what other comparable places offer

I downloaded this app and it has never worked. While it does let me loggin it just hunts for a location. I even uninstalled/re-installed same issue.

The app says the store near me does not support order ahead. However when I go to the store they tell me I should order on the app, which doesn't work.

I have never had any bugs or problems using this app and they kept it simple instead of adding all sorts of unnecessary features and popups. It is hard to get more practical and efficient than this. You can even just say 'I want to order the same thing as last time.'

Needs custom orders. You can order ahead but if you to order a bakersdozen it only gives you a pre-selection rather than allowing you to pick out the 13 that you would like. If you go in store you can pick what you want but not via the app. I love this place. Just not their app.

Literally won't let me order. I've unintalled it and reinstalled it 3 times in 2 different phones. Crashes every time I try to finish checking out. And there's no other way to order ahead. This app sucks and now I'm just not going to get einstein bagel at all

Found this place when I got a new job. Love it so far and will continue to go. Super happy that they decided to make an app to help reward people.
