eko — You Control The Story

The app is glitchy. I love the concept. I find the stories to be fun and well written. It is hard to enjoy the full breadth of the interactive component when the app force shutdown or completely skips the choices all together. There are times when my achievements aren't logged at all and I am forced to replay a storyline as well. Other than that, cool app! Its worth the download to check it out. I am positive that these issues will be addressed in time.

Great concept guys! With that said Wizard School Dropout has some bugs. I have not once been successful in using fog, even when the choices I make add more mana for those spells. It makes it hard to cast spells when it isnt being recognized. Ive used my finger on the screen and I've used a stylus pen, it doesn't work. It does recognize taps and tracing patterns but not the swirls for the spell. PLEASE FIX THIS!! The storyline is great and I want to play through all the possibilities.

I really tried to like it and to get it to work but everything about it was glitched out. You can't skip to the next decision or scene, if you start over, half of the time the video was lagging so you have no idea what's going on, and it even jumped me to another story in the middle of a chapter. It's a great idea, and I love "choose your own adventure" type games, but this needs some new approach or redesign.

This app is pretty amazing! I came across it from an ad on facebook and it let me try it out before installing, so glad I found this! A lot of fun exp getting to control the story and all around awesome storylines and graphics and just in general amazing! They put a lot into this app! You wouldn't regret installing it! I noticed some of the reviews and the problems some people were having in the past but looks like they took the time to hear everyone out and fixed a lot of issues!

I had an original review, complaining of connection issues with my phone. All connection issues have been fixed and the developers responded to my request. With that being said, I am very impressed with how the situation was handled, and how the update turned out. The only complaint I have is sometimes, the video lags behind the sound. I'm not going to give the app 4 stars for something that could just be my internet. Overall, I am highly impressed. With both the app AND the developers

The traveling experience needs more options and we need to see and do more. Maybe learn how to make local favorite dishes and cocktails. But it's truly an incredible learning experience nonetheless. With the styling game I feel like the lady is too hard to please. You have to stay within budget and you have very limited options.

Although I loved the stories and the interactive element, my technical issues were never resolved. After 3 - 4 weeks, I still have a blank screen during an episode from The Coop and have a Wizard School Dropout episode suddenly freeze & close. Reported these via email on 28th May. Still waiting for assistance. So I've uninstalled the app. Unfortunately these errors occur on other devices and on the website versions too, which suggests it's an internal issue. Such a shame, it had so much promise.

The video won't rotate. I never had this problem on my laptop or tablet, but the Eko video won't rotate when I'm on my phone (Moto g stylus 2021). This is a new problem. I also want more cooking and travel shows, please! Otherwise, great app

Constantly crashes - I first viewed the stories through Facebook and really liked them. I decided to download the app despite all of the reviews about the app crashing. Well, I couldn't even get one video to play without the app crashing and then inexplicably randomly causing other apps on my phone to open. This happened 5 times without me being able to view a single video so I uninstalled the app and will try again (and update my score/review) once the programmers can fix all of the bugs.

Doesn't work anymore... in the beginning it was cool. You had the choice of quite a few different genres and scenarios where your decisions shaped the stories. ...then - nothing. The app won't even open anymore. You tap on it and it immediately crashes.

amazing stories and its very fun but the app is laggy and not well put together. i enjoyed the times when it let me play but the app is so glitchy and slow and i cant do anything. and when the video will play its just the sound and a frozen screen. i really enjoy this app and have reccomended it to a few people already but it just doesnt work well so i dont think ill be reccomending it to anyone else. but other than the bugs its a really good app with a bunch of amazing shows and actors.

I got to rate 5 stars because most people don't understand the struggles of a new business and think it should happen perfectly with no problems. I've tried this app and it was amazing funny and very interesting, I loved the experience with the "wizard drop out" and would also wish to support it too for more episodes. You guys are doing amazing and I'm sure alot of more people like it too, just too lazy to write about it. I'm here cause I didn't know you guys had an app until 3 days after using

So much squandered potential. I'll check back in another time to see if it's fixed, but like others have said, it's currently unplayable. Funny enough, it works fine on the website when I tried it. This seems like a mobile experience. Maybe they should have focused more on getting that right before launch. I hope they fix it. The show I was playing was fun

This app is soo laggy! When I pressed pause, it would not play again. The app has a pretty cool concept, but what was given did not deliver. If the makers could get rid of most of the bugs, the app would be AWESOME.

So.. I saw the FBE&eko calibration, went to the website was provided, and watched the first part of (Epic Night) I did like it, a lot actually, so I googled if eko has an app, and here we are downloaded it, but, it doesn't work!! The app DOSE NOT WORK AT ALL, it's just showing me the intro over and over a over, and it's not because of my internet connection, I have 25mbs, so that's that. Fix it please, I would like to check your other projects, I think what you guys doing is great and new so..

Super glitchy. Dialog is way ahead while videos are 15 seconds behind. Crashed my phone twice. Definitely needs some technical assistance. Concept is really good though, and would like to play through the shows if not for these issues.

This app has strong potential to be 5 stars. What's good: Influencing story and clever stories. What can take it to 5 stars: Not drain battery so fast! I have the OnePlus so the battery is amazing but this app drained half of the battery in 30 minutes! It heat up my phone crazily! Also the app has no watchlist or continue watching. If this can be included that would also make this a 5 star app! Great start! Just some tweaks and I'd be hooked with this app!

It improved, just edit my review. Another thing I wanna say everytime I start over it restarts everything. Not like episode one but on a part I didn't want wrong, and when I go back I see some stats reseted and I don't wanna go back all the way to episode one.

This app could be so great if the bugs were fixed (ex. Rent money doesn't register on wizard dropout school) and if it didn't break after every update. Currently the app won't even open and it's such a sad sight for such a neat idea. When it gets fixed I'll be sure to change my rating!!

I only downloaded it to play the stylist game. It was fine but the clothes were so ugly and the app was unresponsive and slow at times. Also, if you replayed an episode there was no option to fast forward dialogue. The prices were unrealistic too, 50 dollars for ripped jeggings

crashed my phone TWICE. It crashed my phone twice and I just thought it was my phone being stupid. Nope. I go back to the app and the game is so laggy it's unplayable and it crashes my phone again. I had to restart it both times. Awful app. Don't download.
