Film simulations transform the once sterile photos of my honor 9. The simple exposure compensation control is good and the ability to reprocess the photo with different film simulations afterwards brilliant. However a few bugs exist. Taking a photo with the honor camera app(default when taking a photo using the volume key from locked) results in the loss of the exposure control and reprocessing ability. I have found that deleting the apps data restores the features.
I absolutely love this app, when it works. On my Pixel 3 XL, the shutter rarely works whether I use the button on-screen or if I use the volume keys. I might only get it to work 20% of the time, but when it works, the photos look great. plsfix
The app is running really bad, it hangs a lot, but its fantastic for taking superb photos emulating the film effect and also great for when i shoot my analog camera, it helps get a preview of what the scene will look like on film. Love it.
I was introduced to this camera from the late, lamented CFV-5. (Note: CFV-5 is back and working!) While it's not been updated for a while, I still enjoy the various emulsions. AND the fact that the emulsions are NAMED - face it: K5 or F3 aren't very helpful!
I was highly impressed with the app..Thinking to buy paid version !!afterwords i came across the issues in exposure control ! Due to this i had to re think buying paid service..Apart from this, a great app ..Hope You Guys fix the bug
I installed this apo thinking that is free as advertised. Okay, there are in-app purchases but I thought were optional. Well, after the first use the app doesn't work unless you pay for the film simulations.
Nice app but need some updates Like settings for brightness control it consumes lot of my phone battery and I can't save my pictures in my sd card. Please get the solution.
Nica app but a lot of traditional favorites are missing. For example Kodak's Tri-X and T-Max films. Agfa, Ilford, etc.
Great apps . But sometimes the orientation is messed-up . Please fix this bug.
This app needs fixed as image goes all wonky like glitch affect on my Huawei P30 Pro, please fix these issues.
The only reason I don't use this app anymore is the lack of the ability to import photos.

Absolutely impossible to take photos with. Delayed exposure for 30s or even crashes. So, basically the best camera to take photos of your shoes!! By the time you think the photo is eventually done and want to take a look at it, the app snaps away in that moment and you got yet another photo of your toes. Wonderful. I love it. Very nice filters too, and you even get a real time filter for you shots Besides that the rendering of the photos are beautiful! And the app has a real time overlay!
I would highly recommend this if the app will offer an option to save the purchased filters for offline use. Bought the whole set but can't use them when my device is offline. I've been emailing the developer, not less than 4 times, but haven't heard from them yet.
App is buggy. Cannot use paid for filters if you are offline, which as I am trying to use them on a trip to Yellowstone with no service that is mainly why I bought them. Would be nice to be able to load pictures from the gallery and apply filters but that isnt possible. The film emulations are all very nice though and I do not regret purchasing all the films
Edit: Hi, could you let me know the full list of films you emulate? It seems I'm missing a few that should be there according to the screenshots. I've been looking for an app to reproduce the feel of old films such as Ektachrome and especially K25 for ever so long and this app really fits the bill. Really, really impressive!However, the effects can only be applied in-camera, I'm really looking forward to an update to be able to apply it to images already existing in my cameras roll. Also, the "integrated editor' is missing. Do that (the ability to edit images - including the ones in the camera roll) I'll rate it TEN ON FIVE! 👍☺️
Awesome emulation. I love being able to shoot digicam on my cell phone and have it look like some of my favourite film stocks I used when shooting with my 35mm SLR. This would be even better if the fine controls of Camera FV-5 (where I found your app as recommended) were added and all film stock emulations were made available in a Pro version. This would make it ideal for me as I find singular purchases to be annoying. Also, what is this "offline mode" they mention in other comments? A cell phone is always online unless they have a small GB plan. Paying for unlimited data is worth it, as wifi is not available everywhere. It seems like your new feature to change film effects later after initial shot of the photo should fix the issue. Also, nothing personal, but I prefer the Aviary app by Adobe for post shoot editing. :-) Good stuff. Works equally well on my 5.0 Lollipop, my (now broken 6.0 Marshmallow) and my 7.0 Nougat. ALL emulsions should be available ANY TIME (offline). Especially considering the price paid for ALL which is a great selection. I was and still am highly upset that they did not work and were not available to save on a backpacking trip. Fix this and fine tune other features and I will change rating to four maybe five stars!!!!!
Love almost everything about this app. Perfect. One problem though. I like my phone on vibrate mode with no sound at all. This app has no option to stop shutter sound. Infact this app forces phone settings from vibrate to sound mode whenever u click shutter once. Thats a bit of a problem. No permission option for shutter sound or app sound. Thats the only problem. And frankly the shutter sound is really really loud and irritating beep. So if possible change that. Otherwise I am happy with this.
