Cable lenth is a must on any calculation for motor cabels. There is NO cable lenth indication in the calculus, as there must be a compensation for Volt drop on point off supply. Not very accurate

Exact Calculation given
Ambient temp,cable grouping configuration, voltage drop correction factor plays important roll while selecting cable size. All these important aspect has been not taken care in this app. Result may not satisfy users' intended application. Not properly technicalized app.

I think the intention of this app is good, however the calculations will not be accurate. I say this because to properly size the cable one needs to know the starting method as well as the cable length. A star Delta starter for example will result in approximately 3 - 4 times running current on start up. Direct on line starting will be anywhere from 6 - 8 times. One will also need to know the cable impedance or volt drop per meter to do the calculation properly.
