Electrical calculations

The worst possible licensing system and the only one among over 60 paid apps, having this problem. I tried working with the developer but he just doesn't care. I had to repay for the LIFETIME license EVERY SINGLE TIME there was an upgrade, in order for the app to recognize the previously purchased license!!! Horrible, appalling and outrageous! Now I found out that it performs license verification at every single calculation and, if offline, or Google Play Services is missing, it kicks you out while disregarding all previous license verifications. This was it for me, I'm done with this stupid app. I found a replacement and despite buying it twice, I'll NEVER look back. One of the worst app purchasing experience ever!

My only complaint regarding the free version (besides the understandable ads) is that when you are calculating wire size for a circuit it always defaults to IEC and metric regardless of your preferences. As far as I can see everything is calculated correctly it's just annoying.

WARNING !!! You cannot use this app without Google Play. I repeat you cannot use it without Google Play I purchased the PRO version and I cannot use it when I'm offline what the hell is this? The DEVELOPER ONLY WANTS YOUR MONEY. Wasted my money on GARBAGE. There you go ... Developer ADMITS to taking my money and blames it on Google. Worked for the first 3 months , until their update . Now it's useless. AGAIN DO NOT PURCHASE, use the free version.

I am very happy with the Electric Calculator. It has everything you need. I have been using it for years and the information is constantly up to date. It works accurately and is easy to use. I appreciate the high correctness of the developer.

I have bought older version's PRO key and now I can't find it on here. Update on April 2022: i followed the instructions from below and PRO version is back. Thanks for the supporting.

The electrical applications app works well, its easy to use and the results are what was required for normal use. One problem I had was to print out the caculated answer, the app wanted me to save the file first in a pdf file, which i didnt want to do. The worst problem is the screen has a black background. Printing on to a black background uses a lot of ink. This is not good. I would like to see a set up change, enabling me to view, and print with a white paper background. This app is OK.

lots of formulas, calculators, etc... . seems like it could be excessive and too wide ranging for any one individuals needs, but i suppose better too much than too little. . .. would like to be able to play with a few features that don't have the lock key symbol next to them, but when i click on them I'm taken to pop up screens soliciting for purchase of the app. probably more an oversight than a nag. would've liked to have seen one or two of the definitions just to see the format, but they're all locked (example -surely unlocking ohms law definition wouldn't be an issue - I'm sure anyone looking at an app like this already knows it by heart).

Useless. Don't bother. I uninstalled it within 5 minutes. Can't use any features without getting bombarding with full-screen ads every time you try to calculate something. You need to dismiss the ads before you can see each result. The impedance calculator is worthless, it's only a series/parallel R-equiv calculator. There aren't any fields to input C, L, or Freq values. It literally can't do the most basic RLC calculations. Garbage.

It's excellent app. I got the paid version directly. I think there's still some bug on the calculation of apparent power after the latest version. It can't calculate apparent power through Load (W and kW) and Power Factor and it says that I have to enter the parameters (although I've enter the parameter). But, there's no problem if I calculate apparent power from Load (A) and Voltage. My phone is samsung galaxy note 10+. It would be nice if you can fix this problem 🙂

I was looking for a simple conductor size calculator, and downloaded two apps before this one, the two of them did not consider certain factor like distance to the load, or awg selection. After I downloaded this app, I was very satisfied because it has exactly what I needed for an accurate conductor size calculation; and it has a lot more features, like pin description for different ports, I know I will use it in a near future.

Very useful ready reckoner for many circuit calculations and common components. The mathematical derivation is shown, to confirm the result. I would like to see the 3 phase motor calculations expanded, with alter alternative methods of calculating current, power, voltage, etc. In particular, variable frequency drives are becoming commonplace, and some way of predicting motor performance using this control method would be useful. Excellent app overall, thank you.

fantastic!! it takes awhile to navigate everything, let alone remember if it has what you're looking for, but they've added so much to this app in 2 years. they've organized it so finding something is easier and quicker.

A great app to have on the phone whilst on site to do quick calculations. Tried the free version first and soon purchased the premium version to unlock all the features. So far have nothing but praise for this app.

This app is for people who've picked up an interest in a technical skill or trades program, not limited to electricians because I'm HVAC and still find usefulness with in. Just another tool. The more u use it, the more your able to do with it and the better it becomes. Try it.

I gave it 2 stars instead of 1, only because if you pay for pro it would be useful and overall they don't deserve 1 star. Very few things you can do without paying pro. They have things in the app that don't have a key icon(requires pro) and then when you try to use it, it says you need pro. Frankly if they didn't lie about what you get, I'd give maybe 3-4 stars. Pro seems like it would be a 5 star app.

Very unique! The best calculator of it type for physics students, electrical engineers, and electricians. Simple, user-friendly, yet elegant interface. The pro version is well worth the price.

Overall good app. Cons: 1. Adds appears too often. 2. In settings there are no possibility to choose default current = direct. Every time i should manually change it from AC to DC.

Having so much useful information on your phone makes this app one of the best. I grew up using slide rules and remembering equations this beats that hands down for a few dollars. And less prone to making errors like me.

Surprising how often these less-than-common / in-depth calcs get used in daily life. Great organization and content 5+stars! But.. *Does not give cable sizing/length/ampacity calcs in free version* -1star That is BS, most people are looking for these, and inevitably just move on. Those who would find this app and see it's usefulness would buy it anyways. Subscription only is also BS. Should provide a forever license option. even at 10x sub rate. Hate tiny unexpected CC charges every month. -1

Now on a new phone (p40lite e) that does not support the google store I have no information that the full version is available to me ... do you have a solution Thank you !

I paid for the the Lifetime pro version on the 10th of this month of September, then I had to change my phone some days later. I have tried several time to activate my pro key on my new phone without success. I even wrote you a mail to that effect and am yet to geta response from you. Please do something to get my pro key installed on my new phone

Good and easy to use and very helpful application

I am constantly using this for my solar arrays. People so often undersize conductors with no thought whatsoever regarding conductor temperature or length and have zero understanding of voltage drop.
