It would ease making a series of what if calculations if there were a way to jump back to the filled out screen just before the results. Now it jumps back to the blank screen. For the calculators it would be nice to be able to set default units. As I am currently working on RF, I'd prefer pf, uh and mhz.
One of the most comprehensive apps in the electronics I've seen, ideal for beginners and useful for the more advanced in the field. From maths to theory and calculaores, all you need in one app, well organised too. Don't thrust my word, check it for yourself, I like it and find it useful.
Great resource! Yes, there are ads, but they are non-invasive. Thousands of answers for the hobbiest and student. Pinouts, conversions, equations. I was sceptical at first with so many similar apps being nothing but ads, and no real value. However this app is wholely singular, and not a rip off of other apps, and simply packed with great info. No pop up ads, and no distractions. Additionally almost all the ads are relevant to electronics and seemlessly inserted. I tapped a few to pay these guys
I love this app. For about two years it's been a daily aid, and the most useful personally by far. I would just like to request a calculator of sorts for possibly transistors (BJTs and JFETs) for setting up simple amplifier stages, and one for OTAs (e.g. CA3080 and LM13700). These I can never find useful calculators for anywhere and the ones available don't help much of anything. Thank you for this OUTSTANDING app!
Great group of tools, more befitting of nine stars, would be ten if it had a programmable calc for chain equations. An example would be if you needed to build an RF dummy load you needed to handle 100 W and and since a 100 W resistor resistor is not available you need to use multiple lower wattage resistors trees that stores what resistance would you use in parallel of 20 5 W resistors to create the equivalent 50 Ohm resistance? While this a simple example, it is a common situation w/comps.
First off, I have worked in and around electronics and communication systems for about about 35 years. The RJ45 crossover pinouts in here are 100% correct! The app seems to be pretty quick. It has tons of useful information and tools for electricians and electronics professionals. The ads (so far) are relatively unobtrusive. This is a must have for those in the business.
Excellent app. I am an Avionics Technician and have studied an an advanced diploma in electronics. I am thoroughly impressed with the breadth of knowledge, tools, theory and references available within this app. It is also very easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing. Well done 👍
This calculator is much more then just an electronics calculator! And its eazy to use. It also has brief definitions of what everything is, links to wikipedia on the subjects, datasheets, pins out, and more!!! It really replaces more then three apps i have that make up all the functions this app does! I'm impressed! I highly recommend it, and will definately upgrade to the pro version!!!
It's ideal for students in that pointed out directions in the title. That's just a really helpful and well-organized app. Of course it wasn't created by a god and is not perfect. But it's still getting its upgrades. Just amazing how much information there is. :3
The pinout diagrams alone are enough to gain 5 stars. The calculators and coverters are icing on the cake. Yeah I guess you could just Google everything, but its already in one place and easy to navigate. I use it at least once a week while at work.
This is a really nice app! And chock-full of valuable information and formulae about all sorts of electrical and electronics areas. The UI is very clean, easy to navigate and easy on the eyes. Excellent work, it really shows, how much effort goes into this app. Thank you!
This is a perfect app, with close to no limitations without paying and many useful pinouts and information. I reccomend it without second thought. I have had it for 2 years now and it has been very reliable. Good job developer/s!
Would give ten stars for this app. All the basics you need in one place without having to sort through a ton of search results for whats relevant. Anything needed more in depth can be researched elsewhere but for what it promises it delivers. Well done.
Pocket sized tutor, effectively. Infinitely useful for double checking and incredibility helpful calculation menu's. Straight forward answers with little fuss. If this was the benchmark for the rest of the internet,...
Many people ask to add this and that. No doubt everyone has personal needings. Not a simple job for the developer... Anyway this is the real killerapp for everyone interested in electronics. Bravo! Nice work! It would be really nice if a way to make the app expandable in a socially collaborative manner, would be added. Think about plug-ins or the like...
Just a few days after installing the app and I was putting it to use. Lots of great information right at your fingertips and helped me to determine the value of resistors without a multimeter or doing it in my head allowing me to get work done more efficiently.
The best resource I have found on a phone. Better than the results from Google when searching for the converters, calculators etc. Easily switch from calculators to pinouts. Incredible resource!
I really liked the app.. I would love to see an option to build series/parallel combo circuits and have the ability to solve the entire circuit including voltages drops at different points.
Very informative. 4.75 stars. Would have given it a 5 if the text and pictures were not cut off when in portrait mode. Really easy to use.
Perfect app. This is the way free should be, not swamped with ads.
Useful and helps me know what I need to achieve so I can properly work backwards. I'm not an engineer or super well versed in electrical systems so having this calc is excellent!
This a great app with loads of useful guides, tips and diagrams. Even if you don't use it often it is helpful with the little things that you may just need one day.
Great variety of useful tools, guides and theories, and other useful data...definetly one of the top 3 of electrical reference apps. Ads arn't a problem...for once.
Excellent resource, pretty comprehensive and well organized. Having the pinouts of numerous devices in hand is especially useful!
An absolutely fantastic app. I am learning electronic & am hoping to become an electrician & this app helping me to learn. As soon as I can afford it I'm going pro. A must have for anyone even if it's just as a reference
Brilliant piece of work. An useful tool. However found a bug right away. Cable resistance per km is wrong by 1000 times.
very impressed with the content. Electronic calculator has been well thought out and designed. very useful for technicians in the field.
I love the app I've been trying to learn computers Computer Sciences network engineering and many other things programming once I open the app I've been stuck on it for hours I have a basic in electronics and that's enough for me to use this app to its I think fullest potential. I wish you had a section in the app where you could submit pictures of chips on circuit boards and different components and have it identify what they are and specs I found one other app that was supposed to do this, unsuccessfully I might add, your app is much more useful than that but if you were wanting ideas for how to improve it I can't think of a better way than having that service.
