Electrical Troubleshooting

This app is a simple utility/game for learning electrical troubleshooting with a voltmeter. A voltmeter is one of the most valuable tools that an electrical troubleshooter can use. This is because most electrical problems are loose connection (open circuits), shorted devices or operator errors (no electrical problems). There are ten circuits in each game. Each circuit consist of an "Open", "Short" or "NoProblem".

Solve the problems of the ten circuits with the fewest number of tries and shortest amount of time. If you do well, you receive the prestigious certification of a "5 Star Troubleshooter".

Are you a 5 Star Electrical Troubleshooter?

Hmmm.... maybe it was better if timer didn't pause. Because now, the player can cheat. If you hit select answer to pause timer, you can move lead around and do a little off the clock testing. BTW... i am an automotive electrical diag tech. And i agree with Alex, it is a potential training tool.

I enjoy using the app and had no difficulties moving the slider around. Great learning tool if you've never used a voltmeter or fun to use if you want to knock the dust off. Either way, I would recommend.

Once you work out how to navigate it's a great game to help understand electrical faults

Awesome game! It took me a minute to figure out how to scroll through the answers. But companies use this type of game to train people. Its with a lot more than free!

I understand "opens" and "shorts" in an electrical circuit much better.
